Service in general was good. Mathew, however, was great. He represents your company greatly. You should be proud that you have an employee strives to ensure customer satisfaction. I was there form storm support after Milton. He understood that the contractors start early and made sure there was coffee and food out. He was the only that did this . Will stay again.
Noteworthy details: Close restaurants. Clean rooms. Good service

There was no service. They did not clean our room or make our beds.

You have to pay for parking! Are you kidding me! It’s not the $10 daily fee, it’s the principal that I’ve already paid $200 a night and you’re still charging me to park.

At first I was going to cancel and give a horrible review. I moved to Florida from NJ after my parents passed to be closer to my family in Florida.
We were travelling with our pets 1 dog and 2 cats. Originally I called and they said pets are allowed and I never thought they didn't mean cats. We go to check on and my dog is fine, she's a service dog. The guy said there are usually no cats allowed. I was running late to my final walk through for the home I purchased. The woman said she could cancel. I was on the phone with my realtor explaining and then the lady said I will make an exception , but just charge the pet fee for the room. I said please and thank you because we had no where to go!
In light of what could have been an added nightmare to our already crazy 23.5 hour drive down and mishaps we had, this made me so much happier to know we at least had a room to sleep in for the night.
The room itself is very nice minus the toilet. It just didn't flush well. Needed to flush 4 to 5 times for it to go down. It was very spacious and I loved the living room area. The free breakfast was great! I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay in the Lakeland area. A walking distance to some things as well!
Thank you for being accommodating to me and my family !! We appreciated it very much.

I was really disappointed with my stay. They're under construction and apparently feel like continuing construction well past 10 PM is completely acceptable. I'm not sure how guests are supposed to sleep with drilling and hammering going on into the night. But it really sucks.
The breakfast was probably one of the worst hotel breakfast I've had. I'm used to powdered eggs on these types of mini muffins buffets, but these were so incredibly dry. They were inedible.

Mixed review.. Positives, location and decent morning breakfast. Negatives, lots of construction mess and noise. Only one elevator available due to construction and the front entrace was blocked off several days. This meant you had to come in thru a side entrance. Management expressed little to no concern when I informed her that the bath towels are placed on an ulgly, severly rusted towel rack still in a newly renovated room #519. Who wants to use a bath towel after its been sitting on rusted metal? I showed her pictures of the bathroom towel rack. She simply said that the bathroom was not part of the renovation. Defeclting responsibilities was not a good answer to a paying customer if you expect them to return and recommended the property to others.

The hotel was under renovation and our rooms reflected that. They were a decent size and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was tad bit small though.
The gym was a complete disappointment as they only had 2 treadmills, a bike and elliptical. No free weights, rack, or bench were available.
The front desk was very pleasant and friendly, so to be honest my only real gripe was the gym. So if you are not there for the gym then I recommend staying.

Don't book this hotel because is under construction and they didn't informed Expidia either me ( the guest) about this before do the reservation. The carpet is nasty, smell super bad.
Rooms: Carpet is dirty, smell very bad.

Did not explain parking cost me 50 I shouldn’t have had to spend. Then out of the blue just charged me 135 so they could hold on to it all weekend. Avoid this place I’m a top tier customer of Hyatt and this one is the worst.
Noteworthy details: It would be great if they didn’t screw with your money.

I stated this hotel for 5 days 4 nights on a business trip. The hotel room space was great large size living room area with desk sink and mini fridge and a great size bedroom area with two beds. The sink and makeup area was outside of the tub and toilet.
--bed comfort was medium plush and I slept very well.
--water pressure was good and the temperature was also adequate.
-Room temps was great. A/C very cold.
-Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating each day I stayed in the hotel lobby working.
-The breakfast each morning was very good serving a variety of things to choose from. Meat, eggs, and potatoes. Fruit, cereal and other thing were also available.
-The hotel also hosted a bar and a small kitchen area if you choose to dine in. Easy access to the downtown area shops restaurants and other accommodations.
I will definitely pick this hotel again for my business needs.
