“Purchased a nice used glass curio here. They were about to close the store when we arrived, but did not rush us out. Ordered the item later by calling them and they gave us the delivery date and time then. Item arrived looking great exactly when they said it would come. Two guys brought it and exhibited extra care with both the item and our home. Was especially appreciative they were willing to deliver to Clermont. Prices are very fair. Highly recommend!”

“Should've posted this sooner. Visiting my parents and discovered one of their lawn chairs, purchased 20 + years ago from Palm Casual (made of PVC piping) had broken. I brought it back to Palm Casual and within 10 minutes the gentleman there fixed it for No Charge. Apparently this particular chair and table set are guaranteed for life.Thank you very much for the quick service.”

“This review is for All American Furniture and Mattress, not American Mattress, an online, Chicago based company.My better half went to Mattress Firm for a purported $770 sale on an extra firm mattress she desired.She soon discovered they wanted 6+ weeks for delivery and a boatload of fees and charges that soon pushed the price closer to $1,000. Not only that, they had no mattresses they advertised online in the store (at least not of her variety).Then came the sales malarkey. Sale ends in one day (nope, still going). May be an additional charge for extra firm. Blah, blah, blah.In short, they wanted her to go on blind faith that this mattress would suit her needs.I had told her about All American Furniture and Mattress before. They’ve been in Lakeland for just about forever and, in fact, while passing by one day I discovered a truck from a major furniture store here in town (name withheld for obvious reasons) loading mattresses in to the truck.It dawned on me that All American Furniture and Mattress was possibly making mattresses for these companies who, in return, slapped their labels on and jacked up the price 100% or more.Hmmm, that’s interesting.So, she decided to pay them a visit. Bonnie was helpful and allowed her to try out various mattresses. No sales pitch and no pressure. She even tried out a few recliners.In the end, she bought both an extra firm mattress and recliner for just under $800 ($900 with delivery). Mind you, that’s for both, not each.And did it take 6 weeks for delivery? Nope, about 6 days. Since they make the furniture and mattresses in the back area, there is no hoping it’s in a warehouse in Tampa or Outer Mongolia.Also worth noting, delivery is handled by a separate company and they charge $99 for delivery, COD.About the only thing they don’t do is pick and take away the old mattresses, but the city will do that free of charge if you can get it to the curb (Salvation Army or Lighthouse Ministries will also pick them up from your home under certain standards).”

“They’re very expensive trying to set it up after a move is impossible unfortunately. There is an apparatus that looks like a breathing machine beneath the bed and it’s a bit noisy. Those are all the negativesThe positives are it’s fun to adjust the beds and have your own remote control. The bed firmness does adjust that way. The delivery people are immaculate and super nice”

“Gerry is the best, a diamond in the rough for Lakeland decorators. I have worked with several decorators in this area, and Gerry has proven time and time again to be the most approachable as well as practical decorator I’ve ever worked with. She doesn’t force her opinions or ideas on the client, but rather works with you to develop what your taste and your interest are. I never felt intimidated by her nor felt like she was trying to upsell me on anything. I completely disagree with the review given by the individual regarding the wallpaper situation. I’ve been in Gerry’s studio many times, most professional interior decorators require an appointment, so to just walk in someone’s office and assume that they have time to sit down with you and can give you their full attention is silly. I can tell you she’s completely booked, yet even though her schedule is tight she will always make a way to get me in- you will always feel valued by her as a client. Gerry is as honest as they come and been in the business for a very long time. I just love her and could not imagine having anybody else help me on my building decor project. She’s a 5 star for sure!!”
