Books-A-Million in Lakeland is a great store with an amazing variety of books, magazines, manga, collectibles, and gifts for everyone. It has everything from bestsellers and timeless classics to toys and autographed editions. Many love the store and its great sales. While some note it can take a few minutes to find help, interactions with workers are good. Customers wish for more hobby books and how-to guides, as well as places to sit and read or work. A common dislike is the constant push for magazine subscriptions. Overall, it is a favorite destination for knowledge and entertainment.
The workers were kind and knowledgeable about not only the books but the places in the store they are located. I asked for one specific book and 3 workers helped me find it then took time to have a great conversation with me. Came here the other day after the movies to see if they had two books, Heated Rivalry and the Hallmarked Man. They did! I also got a Star Wars calendar. There's a good chance I have pretty much any book you're looking for. Or any genre you want.

Excellent experience! I hate it that the smoothie place is gone, but I had an awesome experience nonetheless.
