Let me start off by saying that this store is super clean and well organized. I came in for furniture and Susan was THE BEST! She was patient, kind and very knowledgeable. When I found out she had only been there since August I was surprised on how much she knew. Needless to say I came out with a bed, desk sofa and loveseat. I do not think it would have been as smooth had she not been there. This girl is a rock star!!!

Love big lots but don't like when they try to mislead customers. They posted signs today at the north Lakeland on 98 store that say 50/70% off of all heartsong toys ..
the price on the sticker is supposed to be their selling price and you should get 50/70% off in a normal setting .
But we took an item up to the register and Alicia the cashier told us ( all 5 adults) that the prices are marked what they are already discounted . I asked her how do you know what heartsong toys cost to know your getting a discount and was told you could google the Heartsong website to see that the toys on there site are much higher than big lots! How weird or misleading is that ? Post signs explaining if you do your research you can see you are getting a discount so customers don't waste their time in line thinking they're getting the 50/70% off in your store .
I think it's very misleading and so did the other two customers I told not to waste their time . It's priced as marked ..
I consider this poor management and misleading.

Well what can I say. Great place tons of amazing deals. First time I ever went and I will go back. Cashier was pretty horrible..... Could tell she loathes her job. But other than that great experience.

I have to say that I have bought Big Lots mattresses & furniture since 1998 and I always like the customer service. Juan and Matt in Lakeland and Natasha in Plany City went out of their way to find my mattress! Excellent!

It's always a good shopping experience at BIG Lots. Found a few Christmas items at 70% off. They were definetly a good deal. The staff was kind and helpful.?
