I wasn't sure Batteries Plus had watch batteries, but they do. It was a swiss army watch with 5 pronged back and the girl behind the counter said they have them and can do watches as long as they are not smart watches. I sensed that she could feel that I was unsure if she could do it, but she was very careful and took her time to remove the back slowly and carefully so that she could remove battery, see the number and replace. I left very happy and with a working watch. It has been a week and it's all good. I would use batteries plus again. They had lots of different batteries there. And thank you to the manager for his follow-up phone call also.

Outstanding customer service!I recently had an issue with my cell phones earbud jack - I was advised by my carrier to check with Batteries Plus to remedy the situation and they were able to correct the problem quickly and professionally! -Thank you again for the assistance!Kevin

Very disappointed. Needed a battery replaced in a key fob. Cost over twenty dollars because I was sold a lifetime warranty. Didn't ask for it and wasn't offered just a replacement without the warranty. I let the salesman rip me off so I write this review. Manager get off your tail, investigate this and deal with your employee.

I went in here right before Thanksgiving to have my watch battery replaced and as soon as we walked in the door the fat guy had an attitude with me (I think he is homophobic) I said that I need a new battery for my watch and he told me to give it to the girl in the back he took my watch from me, I told him that I had life time battery replacement he was all smug looking and says oh yeah, so he looks up my number and says oh you do and then tells me people always say that they do when they don't so by now about 15 minutes has gone by and she can't get the back off of my watch, now mind you the whole time she was doing this she was on a personal phone call and scratching my watch back with the tool to take the back off. Now I'm pissed cause I hear her on the phone and the guy with the attitude to me to take my watch to Munchelseor to Winter Haven and have them replace my battery he go quit the mouth full of words from me for scratching the back of my watch which they don't even make my watch and. BEWARE Don't do business with them

Bad service. Employee insulted me for the phone I had brought in to have the battery replaced. When getting the battery replaced, they proceeded to break my perfectly fine screen and then replace it with a non-Apple screen, making it look weird.They did not give me a heads up or anything. Will not go back & I would recommend going to other places to have your phone battery replaced.

Ordered on line with guest pick up. Would give guest credit for my core because she did not have my credit card that was ok to purchase battery. They accepted my core, didn't give me credit and told her for me to come back with my card. They gave her no proof of my core, so when I go back with my credit card and explain they already have my core...how do you think that's gonna turn out?

Batteries Plus in Lakeland FL is so great. Sam went out of his way to help me today. The level of service at this store is so much better than most. I would highly recommend them. And they do so much more than sell batteries, they can even repair cell phones.

Where do i even start? I went there over a year ago after finding out they were the only place in town that had my rare motorcycle battery size in stock. They said it was ready when I called and when I showed up they hadn't filled it with battery acid or charged it and I had to wait almost an hour. They knew nothing about how batteries worked and I had to tell them to fill the battery. This Saturday was worse. I called them at 1:20pm after placing an order online to make sure the battery would be filled and charged and ready to be picked up when I got off work at 6. They assured me it would be ready. I get off at 6 and head straight there. I get there and the battery isn't filled nor is it charged. After waiting over 30 minutes for them to fill it and give me a refund for returning the old battery, I was assured multiple times that it was charged and ready to go. I get all the way home just to find out the battery is worthless because it wasn't charged at all. I called them and they said they would call the manager to see if they can issue me some sort of refund since now I can't even get back to the store. My time is valuable and I can't afford to pay someone again to take me all the way back to the store. They had over 4 hours to make sure my battery was ready and they couldn't do it. No manager or anyone has called me back to issue any type of refund. They sold me a worthless $90 battery. If you wanna save money, go somewhere else and buy a more expensive battery because the lack of customer service is going to cost you more in the long run. Batteries Plus don't respond to this review acting like you care and telling me to call the manager to resolve the issue like you do with all the other people leaving bad reviews. If you care then you need to call me and issue a refund. I already called y'all 2 times more than I should have.9/26/23 update:Going on day 4 now and still no contact from the store or any help what so ever. Still stranded with a worthless battery that this "battery store" sold me. No way to get back to the store since my bike won't start without a charged battery and they have not refunded me or even tried to contact me. They have my phone number and email but they don't care that they took a customer's money and left them stranded.Another update from 9/26. I finally decided to call corporate to try and get a resolution. Within 30 minutes of calling corporate I get a return call from the store manager telling me he will refund me and that was that.He even sent an email confirming the refund.An hour later and I just got a call from the store manager again and now he is going back on his word. He is telling me that he will not be able to give me the refund he promised. I live paycheck to paycheck and barley make ends meet. Yall are a multimillion dollar company and you cant refund me $72.21 after selling me a worthless battery and lying to me about it. This is 2 times I have been lied to now. The 1st time is when I was told the battery was charged. And now the 2nd time is your store manager calling me and telling me he will issue me a refund without me having to return the battery. When he called back he said that his manager wouldn't allow it. That's not my fault or my problem. He gave me his word that I could return the battery if I wanted to but I didn't have to and that he would issue me the refund either way. The whole reason I need the refund is so that I have money to go buy a battery charger so I can charge it so I can work. I have missed multiple days or work now because of lies and incompetence from your company. This is unacceptable.9/28/23 update:They finally decided to refund me after I had to deal with Thomas the regional manager who kept asking me questions just to speak over me and interrupt me while I tried to answer. Thankfully he took responsibility for his employees actions

My battery for my car was dropped off a week ago and no one has called me to tell me the status. It’s like they purposely try to make it so you don’t use your battery warranty, making you wait 2 days to test it and then don’t even call after. Plus they have incompetent people working there who can’t even give you answers. Will not be buying anything from them again.
