Brought a clock movement to be repaired. They fixed it well but when re-attached to the clock it didn’t work. Was told the movement was too dirty and needed cleaning. In fact piece was bent somehow either in the travel or during the repair. Straighten it up and the clock works just as fine as before.

I took my antique watch and art deco clock in for repairs. Instead of fixing them they removed all the movements and replaced with battery operated parts. Not happy.

Have had several jewellery services over the years, so about time I left a review. Just recently I had lost a diamond from my ring, got a quote from Arlex and had the job done. Beyond pleased with the results. They cleaned up my ring and polished the remaining diamond, the new diamond was beautiful. My ring looked new. All the staff are super nice, knowledgeable and very professional. I 100% recommend and will use for all my future jewellery needs.Thank you Arlex!

Arlex has been our choice for over20 yrs when we moved to Tennessee they came to our home to prepare our grandfather clock. It made it safely to our new home. We are here on vacation and brought another antique clock with us for repair. Their knowledge and expertise exceed all others . The Nystroms

Thanks to Arlex for above and beyond service. My ring was cutting into my swollen finger a d had to be cut off. They were able to do this quickly with minimal pain. So grateful for their efforts. I recommend them for all jewelry service.

I wanted my grandfathers gold wrist watch oiled and was hesitant to leave it with just anyone but they did a great job servicing it (cleaning and oiling) and their price was in line with what it costs nowadays. I then brought them an old 8 day wall clock that wouldn't wind. For $200 it was repaired and overhauled and is now keeping great time. The shop is trustworthy and competent and reasonably priced for having a real watchmaker (i.e. not just a battery changer). There are less and less of them every year so take care of them while you can!

Took my expensive watch in for a battery, which they replaced. An hour later I looked at my watch and it was the same time as when I left the store. Went back to Arlex, they changed battery and said I need to have my quartz watch overhauled for $ 160...... I left with another new battery, got home and watch wasn't running still. Immediately went back, now they told me it needed a new movement and I would have to leave for estimate . I needed a watch to wear so I brought with me another good quartz watch I hardly wore . They put in a new battery and it was running when I left but stopped an hour later..... I went back for the 3rd time , had them remove the battery, and was refunded the $ 12 + tax. Sad to say they use cheap batteries and we're trying to UPSELL me to a $160 overhaul, then a new movement, can't imagine what that would've COST !!!! I had a better battery installed that powers up HIGHER END WATCHES elsewhere and my watch has been running almost 2 weeks now with no problems......BUYER BEWARE !!!! Hate people trying to advantage of my hard earned money .... greedy indeed !!!
