I lived in Peadler's Pond in Lake Wales, Florida for about 4 years. It was the absolute most terrible experience that I had, not because of the actual place that we were located, but It was more so the management and how they went about handling everyone who lived in the community. There was constant harassment from Cindy who was actually the manager there that I had the most conflict with....Misery loves company is a valid description of her behavior as a leader. There were notices on doors every week for the most minor of offenses. I've since been back there and still get complaints from the new residents and older ones I know, that tell me that there are rules in place in the community that regards against kids having fun on bikes, scooters, etc. I think the president/owner needs to do a thorough shakedown of her ability as a community manager.

I have lived here now 5yrs and love it. It's quiet for the most part. Yes, lot rent goes up just like anywhere else. I rather pay the price of lot rent than the price of rent anywhere else. My neighbors are truly amazing. The people in the community are helpful and kind.I did put 4 stars because of the clubhouse. A $200 deposit that goes to rent is a bit much on top of a $50 non-refundable deposit. That's a bit much. My other reason, is when I moved in they had a sign 1 month lot rent free, and no application fee if you were a teacher, military, etc. When moving my husband was on active duty. They got a copy of my military ID and I am a teacher also. Then, I was told only if I buy one of their homes. But, was not stated on the sign. I just feel the sign needs to be more specific.Otherwise, this is an awesome community to live in.

Great neighborhood great place to live horrible management making up rules and letting family do different not fair to other people no big dogs allowed but yet management family allowed to have them if you want you to live there rent is overpriced they screw you over everything just absolutely horrible and stay clear of the park manager she is mean and absolutely unfair don't even know how she is in charge of stuff

It's well managed and clean. They rent to any who qualify, and their community of people like to help each other. Maintaining the grounds is done well, too.

Just a quick visit to a team member & friend. This community seems nice from the couple visits I've made. It is definitely family friendly with a nice playground. Also it is very convenient to the shopping available in Lake Wales. It seems far enough set back to not be too loud with the traffic on busy RT27. I thought it might be difficult to get across traffic upon exiting (headed back South) but not bad since there's a traffic light right up the road.

Management is ridiculous! They enforce rules with only some people, others can do whatever they want to. They raise the lot rent every year! When we first moved in, we were paying approximately $300 a month. It is $562 a month now. We have been here less than 10 years. I do not recommend living here.
