Since the review process would not allow me to update my other review, in regards to the progress on my unit, I have been forced to use another account, to state that the experience I had after 15 years with this company has gotten even worse. After only being one month late @$130 they charged me for an additional month totalling $260 plus the late fee of $50 for each. I should pay for the 2 months and two late fees instead they charged me with lien processing fees and additional fees that beyond my belief, totalled $438, that I had to pay to keep my things from being sold after only 1 month was 30 days past my rent due date. I explained I was in a financial crunch at this time and due to the fact that I had such a good record of payment I thought they would work with me and no, they decided to follow corporate policy over the needs of people. I highly recommend you find someplace with compassion and reasonable rates to put your things. These people took advantage of my vulnerability and basically charged usery fees. Their tactics are ungodly and all this corporation wants to do is keep your things to put them out on the resale market through a storage unit buyer. After renting my unit for over 15 years. This new company jacked my rent by 30% with negligible notice, then violated their own corporate policy and put a lien on my unit prior to the proper date, when due to a situation I was late, for the first time in over a decade. I called corporate and was told that this would not happen till the 30th and they did it on the 28th of June. This property has gone downhill since the original owner. My unit was broken into and eight others. The management left my unit open and unsecured for a week without telling me, without repair and without respect for my belongings. They never offered any compensation or refund for my loss or the time my unit was unsecured. Corporate policy OVER PEOPLE!!!!! Also, in a review here, they denied the fact that the roads in and out of this unit are horrendous with huge dips and potential for floods with runoff. Do not believe the hype, drive through it for yourself. Find someplace else to store your stuff. I will be.Update: After calling corporate and told me there would be no further fees until a certain date, the local company hit me with more fees again and another letter threatening to take my things.

The manager Amelia Jones is the best she helped me out with the rental of my storage she was very pleasant to work with she made sure I had everything I need the insurance and all she is a great example of customer service I would definitely recommend this facility especially because of her great location easy in and out. Best storage in the lake Wales area
