I went to Aldi's at 753 Thompson Nursery today. I was a little aggited because in front of me was this gentleman with a dog. I do not have anything against pets. In fact, I am a pet owner, but I get mad when I see this gentleman petting his dog and then touching all the dairy products on Aldi's. Why did he do that? Why do we accept pets that there are not service animals in the supermarket??? Please, we all love our pets, but there is a place for everything.

Aldi is a very poor example of a food market. Most of the time they do not have a product that they regularly carry. This time it was ice cream. I am about done shopping at this store. I do not like food shopping and I am not about to run to two or three stores to get the things I need. Why does a store buy more stores, when they cannot stock the ones they have?

Great store. Employees are always helpful and seem happy to work there. Great prices on meats and cheeses.. Usually half the price of other grocery stores, you know who you are!? They don't have all the name brands, but most of their own brand is pretty good..

Today is Wednesday May 29, 2024. I normally have a decent experience in this location, but today I did not. I hastily stepped to one of the self checkout stations, and didn't notice there were items someone had already scanned but didn't pay for. I scanned one of my own items and then noticed the issue. I tapped the help button which alerted the single cashier. She cleared the alert and kept on scanning items for the transaction already in process. I was not acknowledged. She proceeded to begin her next customer's items. I tapped the help button again, and again it was cleared without acknowledging me. Upon finishing with that customer, she exited the checkout stand and walked into an aisle. I tapped the help button a third time. As she returned to the checkout stand, she FINALLY acknowledged me, but then proceeded to give the customers in her line her undivided attention. At this point, I elected to move to another self checkout station in lieu of simply abandoning the cart. I suggest a block of remedial training in Customer Service 101. Aldi, it would behoove you to impress upon your associates that the self checkout customer is just as important as those who checkout the traditional way!
