These are 3 of many tattoos I’ve got done here. All of the artists are phenomenal and do fantastic work. I’ve made appointments and also done walk in work, and I’d recommend it to anyone. The reviews stand for a reason! Unlike many other shops, this place is not pretentious or standoffish, and you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in.
My personal artist is Caitlin Whitenton and she is fantastic. She is kind, patient, funny, and creates a lovely environment. She knows what she’s doing and I only go to her. Period. She is extremely hygienic and professional while maintaining a fun atmosphere. This is my favorite tattoo shop with my favorite artists!
Cleanliness: The shop is extremely clean and extremely hygienic. Every procedure you could possibly want regarding cleanliness is conducted. Surfaces are wiped down and machines are sanitized. Gloves worn, the list goes on.
Stylist: Caitlin Whitenton: she’s fantastic. She’s done all of my traditional pieces, but has variations in her style. Her instagram is @killandclimb so you can see the work she does

100% recommend Ivy& Oak Tattoo!
I have been working with Clayton for a few months now and he has done incredible work and brought my visions to life.
I’ve been dreaming about finishing my sleeve and the entire process and progress has been a blast. I love everybody at Ivy& Oak but a special thank you to Clayton who does incredible line work, and makes awesome stencils and pieces.
Although the process of getting a tattoo is sometimes painful, Clayton makes sure you laugh most of the time, which makes everything even better!
Currently we are working on a Buddha piece which will be posted here as well!

I went in today to get a tattoo and Clayton did it for me. He is such a nice person...had great conversation and he gave me such a clean little piece. I plan on going again and doing some big work with him. He did the lillith symbol on the side of my face and it came out just how I wanted it!!! Thanks Clayton!!!! 5 stars!!!

I recently had the pleasure of getting a tattoo at Ivy and Oak, where Jordan worked her magic on a piece that incorporates lyrics very dear to me. The result was nothing short of perfection. Not only did she flawlessly replicate the design, but her friendly demeanor, courteous approach, and sense of humor made the entire experience effortlessly enjoyable.
I'm thoroughly impressed with the level of service and the quality of the artwork produced here. I'm already looking forward to my next visit for future ink. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for such a memorable and satisfying experience.

I've been going to Ivy & Oak for years and Rich Hunter has done several of my tattoos. He is patient, understanding, and a hell of an artist. I love this tattoo shop and follow all the artists on social media; they're all passionate artists and very good at what they do!

Ivy and Oak is the more than just a tattoo shop, it has a whole vibe to it. When you walk in you feel right at home, so comfortable. The staff is amazing! All very humble and easy to talk to! Kevin did my first walk-in tattoo and I had the very best first experience with him. He not only truly takes his time finding the right artwork , but makes sure you're very comfortable with the placement. He is wonderful to say the least! He is very calm, gentle and walks you through the experience of your new ink. The rest of the staff are great as well. I had the pleasure of meeting Caitlin and Tony yesterday during my tattoo done by Kevin. They are both awesome people. Ivy and Oak comes very highly recommended by me. Go check them out! You will not be disappointed. It's a fantastic experience, every single time. They have definitely gained a forever customer (me!! )

I like it here. It's a little small, so you may feel crowded, but their little waiting area couch is cute. I went to be a moral support for my friend. She had her design done by Noah, who did a great job. He was very calm and explained everything to her. She was very happy and went back for a second one!

Kevin did amazing work! I came in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted but Kevin helped me think outside of the box and created something unique. His shading work is incredible and he did a pretty intricate tattoo in under an hour. Very professional and clean shop.Service: Tattoos

Rich Baroque of Ivy and Oak in Lake Park was BY FAR the most compassionate, understanding, and genuinely helpful artist I have ever worked with. I'm disabled with a connective tissue disorder, as well as a rapid cycle heart rate. I am still learning how to navigate these disabilities, and I've never before sat for a tattoo as large/long as the one Rich did for me.I'm an artist, and I came with my own design in hand. Rich decided it needed very little altering to work as a tattoo, and the changes he made were so subtle, but absolutely the right move. He brought my art to life through the skill of his own, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! This is a magical piece that I will always treasure. If his dedication and skill weren't enough, Rich helped me through the entire process with my accessibility needs centered and never once showed even a tinge of annoyance when I had to pause and shake. Didn’t get scared when I had to stop for an anti-nausea med, and offered to stop at any time- even when all we had left was one quarter sized area of shading and the highlights (less than 5min of work). He helped me navigate what a typical body might experience, versus what my body does, and helped me form a realistic plan for any future work. The entire staff I was fortunate to talk with was incredibly kind, inclusive, and overall just absolutely rad humans. While I'm confident I will return to Rich for future ink, I know that I would feel confident getting work done by any of the artists I met during my appointment. My tissue disorder makes it difficult to manage my body's response to continuous pain (shaking, high heart rate, even dizzy spells) and I have always felt as though I was making the job harder for a tattoo artist, but at Ivy and Oak, I felt like I had control over my experience and my body's limits.Thank you, Rich, and everyone at Ivy and Oak, for making beautiful art accessible to someone like me. I know that the dedication and care that you show to not only the gorgeous art you create, but to the people you create for is an experience I will cherish. <3Services: Tattoos
