At BEST, it's alright...I had some issues...3 months ago...
Around 2 weeks before these things happened...I bought 3 PAL region-coded video games on eBay...to be shipped from England to the Lake Mary Post Office, in Central Florida...but I forgot to get a P.O. Box...after I bought the video games...
The 1st time that I went to the Lake Mary Post Office, 2 of the 3 video games, were delivered to the Lake Mary Post Office but NOT to any specific P.O. Box because I didn't have one. THANKFULLY, an older man was kind enough to get them, for me...he just told me to get a P.O.Box, next time...
Between 3 to 5 days later, the 3rd video game was delivered to the same Lake Mary Post Office. So, I went there, again. I tried to get my last video game...I thought that MAYBE, the staff will EITHER: be kind enough to let me get it, but with a final warning, then help me to register for a P.O. Box and give me the video game, because I didn't know how to get a P.O. Box, at the time. When I got to the Customer Service place...the cashier was a middle-aged man who wore glasses and had very short hair...He looked like he was average height with a large and muscular build...I asked him, for assistance...I expected him to give me the video game and give me a final warning about NOT having a P.O. Box. INSTEAD, he gave me a bit of an attitude about NOT having a P.O. box, and refused to go look for the video game.
After that, I asked him "HOW do I get the video game?" He handed me 2 papers, circled the P.O. Box section with a pen, on 1 of the papers, then said, "Here. P.O. Box"...I felt a bit intimidated because of BOTH how he looked and how rude he was with me. Anyway, after he said "Here, P.O.Box." I just looked at the papers then walked out.
MAYBE, this cashier either liked to intimidate physically smaller/weaker men, or just had a bad day.
About 10 days later, I had enough energy to return to this Post Office, for a 3rd time. I wanted to get a P.O. Box, ship an item back from where it came, then try to get my video game, AGAIN. I saw that same middle-aged, man AGAIN...I was a bit scared to complain about him to the managers...because I didn't think that they would've believed me.
THANKFULLY, 2 other men were kind enough to both help me package my item and go look for the 3rd video game. But, the 3rd video game ALREADY got shipped back to England...
ALREADY, I decided NOT to explain to the staff, why, I didn't come earlier that week to buy a P.O. Box. So, I then packed and shipped my item and went home, INSTEAD.
Since then, I have been on eBay weekly speaking with the guy, from whom I bought the 3rd video game from, asking him if the 3rd video game got returned to him...he STILL hasn't received it...since the 3rd video game got shipped back to England.
It was my fault that I didn't get a P.O. Box, BEFORE I bought those 3 PAL-region coded video games...but I felt that this middle-aged man who wore glasses and had very short hair could've been a bit more kind by EITHER giving both the video game and a final warning about NOT having a P.O. Box, or taken my phone number to call me later that week to EITHER let me know if/when the 3rd video game will be shipped back.
I feel that it was rude to be put through this, unnecessarily...when ALL that it would've taken as a bit of PROFESSIONAL kindness...

I had several po boxes at this facility over the last 20 years as the old staff retired or leave they are being replaced by people who make a root canal feel like a walk on the beach while drinking Margaritas; people who make you wonder how they got that position, people that make you wonder what type of interview questions they got right or even what kind of working experience they were able to put on their resume to beat other more qualified applicants....in my case a gentleman named Jorge spent quite a bit of energy being condecending, not friendly, sarcastic and just plain lazy, he refused to check if there was a package under my name in the back; it was clear from the beginning that he was willing to waste both of us time in order to be as useless and annoying as possible...by the way this is the second time i have the same misfortune. I could only wish that Jorge is working there on a part time basis because if he is planning to make a career out of it he should probably benefit from learning the ABC of working and helping the public in a retail environment.

Worst USPS in the area, a bunch of lazy people, except for Harry and the African American lady.
Jody always has an attitude, Mike is the most lazy person in the world ( always walking around to not talk/help customers).
If you’re a business that arrives after five o clock with packages to be scan they’ll have an attitude and opening a ticket with your complaint won’t do anything because they’ll always favor the employees.

Most of the men who work at the front office are the most unhelpful people you’ll meet. They didn’t explain what to do when I was returning a parcel and then made me go to the back of the line 3 times because they couldn’t explain to me what to do. The most useless staff ever. You need to do better USPS.

I had ordered a gift for my Mother in law for Mother's Day. The package (shipped on 5/4) was moving fine until it reached this distribution center. It has no movement activity after 5/11/2024. Apparently, if you read other reviews this USPS looses lots of packages. I reached out about the missing package (it was insured), and I just got blown off. Thank goodness was just a $25 package and not $700 sunglasses like that one guy. You guys suck. So anyone reading this who's package is 'delayed' here, you're probably not going to get it.

I had a package sent from my pharmacy. on 5/09. It reached my mb on 05/11 but the postman did not leave it. 3 times that day he attempted at the box to deliver it and needed a signature. I do not live at the box.
. I am 72 and I was waiting for a text or someone to come to the door. The next day I received a slip saying he made an attempt but at the box. How do I know he was there until I received the slips. I signed one and taped it to the box. Also called the post office and spoke to a man who gave me a Redelivery number NJR265537150. He said to call back 3 days later if not delivered. I did and tried to report it on voice record. Again I was told it world be here in 2 days. I did not receive it and called, I was told I had to do a redelivery by 05/24. When I called to report it never came a message (voice) said the case was closed????? How do I receive my package that was to be delivered 05/09-05/11????? A message said someone signed for it in Ohio?? Where is my package?

These guys are amazing. I've never been to a post office that moves people through so quickly and efficiently. Shout-out to my letter carrier Edgar, for helping me out tremendously in locating a lost package. Shout-out as well to Harry who went back there and dug it out from the pile. You guys are awesome! They still $700 prescription ray ban glasses. They told me my address was undeliverable. I checked the address and it was different than my own. I checked it in my phone on Google and maps but both addresses still went to my house. The failed attempt was at like 7pm and I go to check around 10am the next morning. They literally told me they don’t have it and it’s been discarded. Then they said you can go to that address and see if it’s there. I said that address takes you to my house. Matter of fact both addresses takes you to my house and there’s no package there. I know for a fact they took my prescription glasses and probably just popped the lenses out of them. Free designer frames.

I am astonished by the negative reviews and such disparaging comments. My mom has been a Lake Mary resident since the early 1990's and has made many visits to this location. The staff is always friendly, professional and delivers exceptional service. I have noticed during my last couple of visits that they seem a bit short staffed, which can be a challenge when the foot traffic picks up. Despite this fact, they continue to offer exceptional service and always with a smile. Our mail carriers have changed over the years, but the mail is delivered daily on time with the upmost care and attention.
