I have a insurance Short term disability, because I am staying in Leave Absence, and My Doctor send the information for Mental health, and he's send the information for email and fax, but my claim number 41441200 is denied, because they are told me, my documents in blank, but my Doctor send the information completely not in Blank, they are very confused my doctor, My Doctor is Dr Felipe and they are told another's doctor name!Now the attendant told me my information is completely and stay under revision, but she's respond me , do you need wait your documents revision, in site still denied!? I think so, when I waited for supervision my documents, do not denied, and wait supervision!?I would like they are help me, and not make me confused and stressful, because I don't like talk to lawyer for help me!Almost 1 month, they are don't call me, for talk to me about my documents!And they are very confused for help me?!

After having open heart surgery they cancelled my policy and did not want to reinstate my policy. I was hospitalized for more than 3 weeks. This is how a company that targets customers over 50 years old treat us. I thought this company was different, I was with Direct General for years and never had an issue like this, STAY AWAYYYY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Bunch of crooks!

Zero stars actually! Like your typical insurance company they will look for verbiage or loop holes to not pay out on a claim. It’s honestly pretty sad. I’ve never had an insurance policy like this (just normal health ins) but 2 of my co workers recommended it and I have 3 active children so I though what the heck. Well! I ended up needing. A couple years after having the policy…. I’m 43 years old I have never broke a bone in my life. I fell and broke 6 bones in my foot sprained and partially tore my ligament. However in the manner that I tripped and fell it does not meet THEIR definition of an accidental injury. Which it absolutely was and definitely caused bodily injury. I needed surgery. They denied the claim stating one thing and then denied my appeal stating another thing!! Really ridiculous and sad. I’ve been non weight bearing for over 2 mths has 2 pins in my foot for 6 weeks. Still unable to work. And of course when a policy like this could help tremendously they are your typical piece of $#!% company.The entire process has been difficult dealing with Hartford. Very upset with this situation can’t wait to terminate this policy and spread the word to save your money and just get an a policy with Aflac.(Coming from someone that never writes reviews! Not negative ones anyways. But I am honestly so upset and just don’t understand how companies can get away with this kind of customer service!)

I am working with this company due to an accident that was not my fault and because this is the company my employer works with. This company may have some decent employees, but the process and communication is a disappointment to say the least. I have no idea what my next steps are. But I can say, I was supposed to hear back from this company in December. However I switched doctors. So here it is now April and employees finally admit all the paperwork and documents are received and had been received prior to me calling. The lead fella said for me to call Monday ( which is today) and I would know if I'm eligible or not. It took three calls and I finally spoke with my case worker who said she has to send it off to the nurses, the nurses would answer if I'm eligible or not. But the nurses won't call me with a Descion. So it's April and I have no idea if I'm eligible or not, nope and Mike told me call Monday and we can at least answer if your eligible. When I asked when I'd be informed after the nurses were done, I was told I would not be ... I was told communication would take place with my doctors. So I have a note to myself that if by May 1st I don't have an answer on whether I'm eligible or not, then I am going to file a complaint to the BBB and wash my hands of y'all.

Working on short term and long term claims since October. Communication is nonexistent to both me as well as my doctors. I get told they send things to my doctors to find out nothing got sent, mail sent to me with nothing recieved, forms had to be filled out well over 3 times before they recieced it, only to have to tell them what was on the forms and there was no communication between short and long term. They had no information after they got my case and no communication with my rep. Every call goes to voice mail and it took over a week to answer a yes or no question by email only to find out I was lied to about what they needed and had to get all my med records from short term again. Very unset that I'm forced to deal with them at all.

The worst. They sent a year's worth of paperwork (*when the account said paperless) to the wrong address. There was never any notification of anything. They consistently got the parameters of the policy wrong and then failed to let me know there was an account discrepancy. Then they sent things out to a collection company for a separate bill they invented for a policy I never asked for (when all my payments were on automatic processing). They are also significantly more expensive than others I've found. Trying to get anyone to service the account involves being on hold for hours and then being told it's a different department, then holding for more hours. NO customer service.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY - EVER

Our car was totaled due to hurricane in FL. We were given an email on what we should receive for money. We are still waiting to sign paperwork to receive our money. The insurance will only pay 2 weeks car rental even though we have not been contacted by the loss department. Now the rental is our problem to pay. All they have to do is contact us and finalize it, so we can buy a car.

Waited 1:23.30 for "your call is important to us" after agent assured me it was for a special agent to solve a glass claim issue since Oct 4 unresolved by their vendor Safelight. . very frustrating for a 20+ year member. Will start over tomorrow . ..

I have been working with these people since December for Short Term Disability claim. Worst service imaginable. They have misfiled paperwork, lied about interactions with doctor and receiving paperwork, and terminated my claim even though employer will not permit my return to work. I am actively working with my employer to encourage them to look for new provider of benefits in the future. They have had multiple lawsuits regarding the handling of disability claims in the past and the people reviewing my case files have not read paperwork to even make an accurate determination of my benefits. I had a rep call me and ask to speak with my doctor because they called me instead of them. Unfortunately for them, I carried a FL 2-15 license and have caught them in multiple lies. Needless to say, my case is still in review, for over 30 days now…

Just took car insurance, had to join AARP, which i hate because of their politics, but they had the best quote......until today when they wanted me to download an app to monitor my driving or would not have this discount. Never heard of this did everything on line when i called was told when i gave tgem my phone number i agreed to this. I told her send me an invoice for the difference and i will not renew after the 6 months. I have never dealt with such a deceptive company before and will not after this.

My wife and I have been trying to get our claim settled with this insurance company since february. A Hartford-insured driver made a left hand turn without yielding to oncoming traffic and my wife broadsided her. The Hartford driver was at fault (they have the police report) yet they persist in trying to place partial blame on my wife and have not refunded our $500 deductible paid to our insurance company. I will make sure that a new claim is filed by my wife as she has suffered with PTSD symptoms as a result of this accident.

This is by far the worst company. I have paid into LTD for 13 Years and I didn't necessarily think I was entitled to it but I did expect them to act professional. The communication from Dustin Hulbert was null. Weeks and weeks of phone calls not returned. I have paid them over 11 grand over the years and I can't even get a return phone call.
