Do not use a debit card when purchasing books for your kids. I’m not sure what’s going on here, but after reading other reviews it seems like they continue to randomly charge your card.

Deceptive practices in place for online orders. Shipping delays only disclosed AFTER you place your order and visit order history. If I knew the shipping window of 3-7 days was not accurate, or even close, I wouldn't have ordered. FAQs and policies for cancellations posted on the website are not honored. I emailed customer service and received a survey to rate my service but never actually received any response or service - no one contacted me. Had to call and chat to get answers after that but the team was not helpful. It's been several days past my shipping window and the order is just shipping out today after I called in to inquire about cancelling, again. Very frustrated with what used to be a reputable company.

I will sue the company because I made a purchase on may 24, 2019. And this past week they have been tried to get more money from my checking account. Please people if this happens to you the only thing you could do is cancel your credit or debit card. So they don't get more money from your account.

I can't see a better cause, than putting books into the hands of a child. This is scholastic's goal, so of course I love them. I always loved book fair days of when I was in school, and I'm glad to see that scholastic is keeping this trend alive for my daughter too! Thank you for helping to inspire future generations! Keep up the great work.

Scholastic Book Fairs were held at both of my children's schools in Texas. I used my debit card to pay on 4/2 and 4/17. The charges came through my account on 7/2. Literally 90 and 75 days later. I called Scholastic Book Fairs in Lake Mary FL, as this was the address listed on the debit to my account, to inquire to the charges. RHONDA, who ironically works in customer service, was the RUDEST person ever. She does not possess the skill set of empathy or understanding. I was not disputing the charges, I was trying to understand the timing and location. Her directions were to talk to my bank. (Where I work) I suggested that Scholastic include a printed sheet that states the payment will be processed in FL. She said I need to talk to my PTA. Essentially, RHONDA is not interested in making this customer's service anything but a nightmare. Moving forward, I will write a check to my PTA for the $50 I spent during Book Fair, instead of dealing with Scholastic.
