Morgan Robinson, the pharmacist rudely, refused to fill my prescription.
For 2 days, I had been contacted by this pharmacy about my pain medication(the lowest dosage). I was told the Rx was faxed and they don't accept it. I was told the Rx could not be called in by the ordering doctor. She told me over the phone that I could walk the paper Rx in.
She knew my info as I was quoted the self pay price as I'm uninsured. She had my info on where I lived and where the Rx came in from.
She made me take the 45-minute drive there, in rush hour traffic just to rudely refuse filling my Rx because I don't live in Lake Mary. (Info she could have mentioned on day ONE).
I told her the local pharmacy said that medication is on back order and has been since October last year. I asked her to call the local pharmacy to see if it was in stock. To which she LIED claiming publix policy wouldn't allow this.
I called and confirmed with publix Corporate's office that 1. YES, she could have filled my prescription. 2. YES, she could have called their sister pharmacy.
I told them I wanted to file a complaint against her as she discriminated against me. I will be pursuing this complaint with the board, AHCA, and whoever else needs to be made aware of her unethical behaviour.
I struggle with 2 bone disorders on top of having 2 herniated disc and other pain causing conditions. I was physically struggling to stand while this individual exercised her authority to not help me. She is on a power trip and doesn't belong in this field. She showed zero empathy for my pleas and expressed zero care that I had been struggling to get my medication. Had she checked my "NARC" score on EFORCE, she would have seen that it is really low, and I really haven't had this Rx filled in a long time. But this idiot could care less. I don't understand why publix employs such animals. But I will pursue this mistreatment as far as legally possible. I am not an addict. This is NOT how you treat patients. I run 3 medical practices and will keep this in mind before sending patients to this location. I would hate for my patients to experience this neglectful disregard for humans!

The entire staff at Publix Pharmacy is absolutely wonderful. My wife and I always get treated extremely well and they are always willing to help us figure out our prescription costs.

Filled a 30 day supply which is 60 pills for $18.76 using Good RX. Without being told, I received only 30 pills and was charged $14.75 due to a medication shortage.
I realized I was running out of pills sooner than expected and looked at the bottle which said 30 was the filled quantity.
I went in 2 weeks after filling the prescription and was told it was $14.75 for the other 30 pills. I protested that I should only have to pay the difference which is $4.
The pharmacist Kay, kept saying we don't make the policies, Good RX does and she said she was from another store and kept looking at the poor pharmacy tech for guidance for agreement and support. It seemed as if she was overwhelmed by the issue and clammed up. She kept saying the same thing over and over that it wasn't her store. This was on a Saturday morning and the manager was not there.
So after 15 minutes of not getting anyone to understand basic math, I paid $10 more than I should have to get the other 15 day supply (30 pills).
The prices had not changed at all, so it should have been a simple override, but Kay was unable to do anything because she is not comfortable with any type of civil debate or confrontation.
That led to this review and a poor experience that could have been resolved by just simply providing an adjustment.
Apparently the Publix policy of making the situation right doesn't apply to the pharmacy. I hope Kay goes back to her pharmacy, but just to be safe I am switching my 3 prescriptions to Walgreens and will make an extra trip separate from my Publix grocery shopping.
That is a total loss for Publix of approximately $72 per month. $864 per year, but Walgreens is 33% less across the board.
Buyer Beware!@ Publix Pharmacy!

I have never had any issues at this Publix location. The prices for the items I need are always great, and sometimes the buy-one-get-one-free offers can cause my pantry to be overstocked for a month or two. I appreciate that they have six express self-checkouts, which allows my brother to practice scanning and bagging the groceries. Additionally, it's convenient to pick up his medications here.

On Saturday, Sept 16, 2023 at early afternoon, I called the Pharmacy because I had a problem with a medication. Long story short, the Pharmacy tech was able to help me out with my situation. I want to give her props for being caring and giving me the help I needed. I owe her my gratitude.

Donna at the deli was awesome. She made the greatest sub ever and she had the best customer service. I feel like she should be running the place!

Always clean inside. Carts ready - Mgr has his team picking up carts & clearing the parking lot constantly. As usual, friendly helpful folks throughout the store. We always catch every employee smiling. With the exception of a tall dark-haired younger guy who works in the seafood area. He always has an attitude. Which is so glaring because it is antithetical to every other Publix employee we've encountered in the 55+ years we've shopped at Publix stores throughout FL. Somebody needs to sit this cocky young a**hat down and teach him The Publix Way. Or just wait until the inevitable happens and he gets clocked by some Publix shopper who is so fed up with his d+ck attitude. Be that as it may, we plan to continue to frequent this Lake Mary store as long as we live in the area. Can't let one idiot ruin our grocery run where shopping is a pleasure.

Absolutely a great store! To have the wonderful staff that works together to help every customer, requires leadership. Ryan Bowles, The Store Manager, provides a top notch example to all of his team. When you're in Lake Mary, stop in and say hi to the team. Then enjoy shopping at their wonderful store.

When I'm standing in a line at 9:00 pm and you have 7 employees on the front end with one register open. That shows me I'm not important and I see that cleaning registers so employees can go home is more important than checking out the customers. That doesn't look good in my book and you shouldn't have a line at that time of night. The blonde on "ten items and less" knew I was pissed then someone walks up behind me and she opens a register for their two items! Wow! You also need to teach them how to bag groceries. I sit there and watch them put soap with vegetables and meat all in the same bag. Unbelievable! You know I don't mind paying more to shop Publix because I expect customer service and I've been up since 5:30 am and drove all over town today. I also had a injection in my back and I had to paint a garage door because I don't have enough employees and I'd like to go home and sit down myself.

I am a big fan of Publix and have had the opportunity to shop at several locations. I recently visited this location and I must say, it was the best one I have been to so far. The store was incredibly well-organized, and it was a pleasure to shop there. One of the highlights of my visit was the produce area. It was immaculate, and everything was extremely organized. The produce was arranged in a way that made it easy to find what I was looking for and the selection was top-notch. The freshness of the produce was evident, and I was able to purchase some of the best fruits and vegetables I have ever had.Just look at the pictures, aesthetically pleasing!

Went to Publix Pharmacy to get a booster for Covid. I looked around to see if there was signage regarding where to go and if there was paperwork out to fill out. Nothing was out. Waited in line for 15 minutes and when it was my turn told the clerk I wanted to get the Covid booster shot. She then went to the pharmacist. He said no I had to go online to make an appointment for the vaccine. There was nothing in the store or online to indicate I had to do this. This is very poor customer service and there are a lot of other pharmacies around that I can use, they have lost me and my whole families business.

The service quality has dropped tremendously. The ordering process has become a nightmare, especially with "discount list" drugs. Undertrained staff does not order properly, causing shortages and improper pricing. Does not even offer to correct issues unless pushed, stating "It's new staff".

I've always liked Publix, but lately we have found many out dated (expired) products still being sold. I suggest you look closely at dates.

C.S. at this location has gone downhill! I have shopped primarily at this location for many years. A cashier recently who couldn't do math wouldn't sell me 2 gas cards. Bogo's don't always scan right.
