They say that they are going to look over your dog's teeth before surgery give you an estimation of what teeth need to be removed but they told me they don't know until after xrays. They just listen to their heart Dr. Beckman said. Then they go in and tell you 15 minutes later they'll let you know. They said 11 teeth. I said which ones are more important because my vet told me only three needed removed. I can't hardly believe that. Which ones are the problem? Wouldn't tell me and didn't give me an itemized quote per tooth of how much for removal when I asked. Said she didn't know how much per tooth until they remove them. Then I'm charged $4,000 for 3 teeth extractions because I said I had no more money than 2000 where did the $4,000 come from? You didn't even discuss me how much per tooth or give me an itemized statement to sign about how many teeth when i asked. Went to pick him up. I said I am on disability. I don't comprehend things easily. Can you please detail explain to me everything. She responded it's on your paperwork. Read it. I said I know it's on my paperwork but I'm on disability. I can't comprehend things easily. I need you to explain it verbally .She said it will be in your email and you will get a detailed explanation in 2 weeks. I said I want the explanation now and I want the details now no respect or understanding my disability or compassion. Totally rude. She kept commenting it is on the paperwork.I have disability. I can't comprehend things. I need you to detail explain it i argued. She refused to. Disrespectful & unethical in my opinion because refused to give me explanation or detailed bill or her teeth removal or even do the pre-exam before the x-rays so why they remove the teeth they did out of the 11? You lied and said that you didn't know until he was in there. You could have clearly told me ahead of time if you did what you were supposed to do with pre-exam! They left a dead tooth also! How are you going to leave a dead tooth? So I paid $4,000 and you're going to leave a dead tooth. That's so unethical! Then said all the remaining teeth they did not remove which is eight those teeth will be fine for awhile. So the dead tooth is going to be fine for a while? Then why were you going to charge me to remove 11 of them if they are fine? Answers to all my questions was it will be in your email its on paper i said you didn't give me a quote. How are you going to remove three teeth for $4,000 and tell me 11 needed to be removed for $6,000? So are you telling me eight more teeth extracted is going to cost me 2000 more? Then if 8 cost $2,000 then why did 3 teeth cost $4,000? That doesn't mathematically add up. Don't recommend that's a rip off ! Go to your vet and do it. I drove 3 hours and stayed in a hotel for these people to rip me off and I am disabled and got no respect on top of that. I'm disgusted. There is nothing special here.

We took our dog to Dr. Beckman and his staff for an ongoing dental issue on the recommendation of our primary vet. The staff was great to speak with and answered all of our questions and concerns before they took our dog back for his exam. As a specialist there is always the concern of costs. The total costs were in line with their estimate and was not as much as I expected. We were provided detailed explanation of the work that was done to address his pain afterwards along with pictures to show that type of issues Wally was dealing with. It was eye opening to see why our dog was so miserable and how much he was probably dealing with for months. Wally was noticeably more comfortable a couple of days later and was almost back to his happy go lucky self after a few weeks. I absolutely recommend Dr. Beckman and his staff if you need a dental specialist.

Dr. Beckman and his team were outstanding to work with. They explained the procedure for my little coco and assured me they would take care of her. Coco is moving around and doing very well. Thank you for everything.

I took my fur child here for a dental cleaning and evaluation after I was referred by my primary vet office. My boy Chewy has cardiac issues and through a workup we found that in order to safely have a dental cleaning, anesthesia time would need to be limited to ensure safe recovery. I am proud to say that I have now found my new vet for any of my pet's dental needs.Dr. Beckman and Anne are truly one of a kind. From start to finish the quality of care you receive at this practice astounding. They did an awesome job retrieving Chewy's records and had every precaution in place to accomodate my boy. My baby was taken care of, returned to me safely, and is now able to eat again without being in pain. I am forever grateful to them.As a healthcare provider myself I value a good bedside manner, patient centered treatment, and good communication. After our visit, everything including post operative plan of care, pictures of the issues found as well as how every issue was treated was explained in detail. I had no stones left unturned as far as any questions I could have. The office also followed up in the following days to make sure our baby was doing well and recovering. This practice also keeps a great line of communication open for any questions you may have as well. The most important thing is this practice CARES about thier patients. It is very evident the moment you meet Dr. Beckman and Anne. I knew from that moment my baby was in good hands and he will be returning here to see them for his dental and oral care from now on.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are forever grateful to you!-Derek, Stephanie & Chewy-

Our 2 year old French bulldog Luna had broken a back tooth by chewing on an elk horn bone, ( we know now not to give these anymore) our vet referred us to Dr. Beckman And his team, from the first contact with us they were extremely knowledgeable and confident that they could help us . Dr. Beckman went over everything with us and was working to save Luna’s tooth but found that it was too damaged, so he removed it. We are extremely happy with the kindness and professionalism we were given. All our questions were answered quickly. We are very grateful to have found Dr. Beckman and his team to help make Luna feel better, our Frenchie's will be seeing Dr. Beckman for yearly checkups from now on. Thank you also to Anne for being so kind and guiding us before and after Lunas appointment.

We initially took one of our cats to another veterinarian for his required dental work and had a very bad and scary experience. We then took our cat to Dr Beckman at Orlando Veterinary Dentistry. Dr Beckman and his team provided absolutely outstanding care for our cat, both during and after the dental surgery. Dr Beckman and his team get my highest and most sincere recommendation to care for anyone's pet. If your pet needs dental work and if you love your pet, take them to Dr Beckman.

I am a veterinary technician for a clinic that often refers clients to Orlando Veterinary Dentistry for specialized care. Recently I took my own dog(a 6 month old English Cocker spaniel) to have an orthodontic procedure done to correct a malocclusion of his lower canines.Dr. Beckman and Annie were amazing! They were able to get me in right away, and my puppy’s procedure was so quick and he recovered without any complications. His teeth were corrected fully in 3 weeks, I am very happy! Communication was great throughout, and all the staff was very friendly.I feel even more confident referring clients to the practice after having first-hand experience with them. Thank you for fixing little Basil’s teeth!

We took our dog to Dr. Beckman for a dental cleaning. They took very good care of my Chihuahua. Poor thing had to get 7 teeth removed, but now he is pain and infection free. I have taken my dogs to a different vet company for their annual cleaning since 2017 and his teeth has never looked as clean as they did after visiting Orlando Veterinary Dentistry. Dr Beckman is the best. I highly recommend them.

Very professional and very nice. I felt like Goldie was in the best hands he could ever be. I was lucky to get an appointment as soon as I did because Goldie needed a lot of work to make him pain-free. I cannot recommend Orlando Veterinary Dentistry highly enough.

What a TERRIBLE experience. They rush you through the entire process not fully explaining what your dog will look like. The total lack of empathy by the staff is unnerving. Would NOT recommend.
