I have been taking my animals here for over 20 years and I understand thing change but say what you mean and mean what you say. After waiting 15 minutes for them to open on Saturday I saw a sign that said and i quote. "Effective 8/1/2023 due to a high volume of walk ins we are now imposing a $30 work in fee that will apply to all who are coming in to see a veterinarian without a scheduled appointment. So when i got inside I asked the man at the counter with the black fingernail polish if a heartworm check required a vet. He responded no, then asked if I had an appointment, I responded no. He then proceeded to tell me there is a $30 work in fee. What's the fee for I asked he said work in fee and I told him that's not what the sign said it states if i was to see a vet then there would be a fee, you just told me I don't need to see one. I then took my dog and left. If you're that busy maybe you shouldn't do walk ins, unless its an emergency or as your sign states to see a vet then I get the fee, but not just to see a tech. The sign also tells me that you have become greedy. If you are charging a fee because you have so many work in patients, that in my book is greed and not a good reputation to have. Most businesses appreciate the extra business and don't penalize their clients. Looks like you have gone form caring about animals to putting money first what a shame.

We took our little girl there for a routine checkup after we'd gotten a lot of recommendations. The vet we saw was extraordinary; our dog is, well let's just say, not vet-friendly after negative experiences at Pet Alliance with a vet who apparently is burning out. The vet at Lake Mary was so calm and took a few minutes to talk with us before he even touched our Yorkie and then did so gently matter-of-factly (is that a word? lol). We were stunned that she didn't go psycho! He didn't try to "enhance the bill" by doing anything unnecessary and put us at ease that although she's a senior dog, she's doing ok. I highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Dyer is the most thorough vet that we've ever taken our pets to. He doesn't rush, takes time to answer all questions and does a full hands-on exam. He's also an excellent surgeon- performed a life saving operation on our Golden a while back. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Amazing staff and service i cant stress it enough! We brought our dog onyx in after he was puking, pooping blood, shaking with zero energy, he was diagnosed with pancreatitis and needed to be hospitalized, exactly 24hrs later and at a very affordable price we got our boy back and feeling brand new, we first went to an emergency pet hospital since this location was closed and got charged $200+ after denying a $900 estimate, the x ray alone was $400, and they clearly told us this was without treatment included... So after searching and calling every vet in town we found this to be the most affordable place around, Dr. Vaughan & Dr. Azcona were amazing at explaining the situation and you can tell they have a deep passion for what they do, I cant stress enough how grateful I am to have brought them here and cost me a fraction of what other places were charging, thank you again Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic for taking care of Onyx!

This review is about overnight stays and not the vets. The vets are actually amazing. We left 2 senior dogs for a week, never heard from them for the week and assumed everything went well. We show up and were handed a plastic bag with the dog bed that was urine soaked to the point where we had to throw it out. Both dogs smelled so bad we had to keep the window open until we got home. 1/2 the food we gave them was uneaten and again no feedback. Treats that we gave them we returned and never given to the dogs. I called Mike to get an explanation and he was a ASS. Instead of saying he would look into it he denied any wrong doing on the staffs part without even finding out first. Instead of calling us and asking if they should bath them, they did nothing. I have had dogs for 40 years and this was the worst my dogs have ever been treated. I am torn because I love the vets but Mike is an ASS in case I didn't mention it and the staff will not call you even when there is a problem so go elsewhere.

This is a local veterinarian for your little pooch or your little Kitty I must say that it started off pretty poorly because I called to make an appointment for my dog's annual vaccination shots and they told me that they don't take appointments they just do walk in upon my arrival they ask me if I made an appointment I said no and then I had to wait almost about an hour and a 1/2 That being said the main veterinary came out the owner and he was very attentive to Bentley my dog treating him like his own very kind so I'll definitely be going back again and I'm pretty sure that star rating will increase

We were very pleased on our first visit. We moved to Lake Mary from Ormond Beach 3 years ago & kept our Vet in OB until he retired last month. CoCo was his patient for 15 yrs. So we were anxious. We were assigned to Dr. Bruckart & we are very very pleased! Thank you Dr. Bruckart! The office was efficient & very friendly.

This veterinary is extremely kind to a family of pets. Our 18 year old cat suffered a stroke today. I was able to bring her right in and she received immediate and compassionate treatment. Sadly, she did not make it, but she couldn't have been in better hands.

I have been here 3-4 times in last 1 year. They did Spay surgery on my cat Pikoo, and also her vaccinations. Later I visited them twice when she had Diarrhea and Vomiting. They doctors and staff is nice and accommodative. They always have walk-ins open. The prices are a bit high compared to the cheaper shelter clinics around but getting an appointment is faster compared to those.

NEGLIGENT. We brought my dog in over 4 months ago for a lump on her back. The vet touched it and said "not to worry". We brought her in more than once... Fast forward 3 months and the lump, once the size of a marble was swollen to a 2in x 5in mass across her back. We took her back and they scheduled her for tumor surgery in 4 weeks. TWO DAYS LATER. The mass burst with fluid oozing out of it. We took her to the hospital and it appeared to be infection and they were incredible concerned. They didn't believe me when I said the vet said "not to worry", until they read it themselves in her medical history. This NEW vet quickly scheduled her for surgery to remove the mass and a potentially related lump, which we are thankful. Also, due to not identifying the mass when it was initially checked out, my pet insurance will not Cover any type of skin injury. It hurts to see your pet hurt. I truly wanted "not to worry" because this was the advice from the professional I seek to care for my pet. My heart hurts that it became so much worse when it could have been addressed sooner. Like your children, never quit advocating and pushing for your pets.

Office staff is completely inept. I have to admit the vets are good and the prices are reasonable, but it's not worth going back as the office staff is so bad. I have been going there about two years, since I moved here, but today was the end. I took my dog for her shots...I specifically asked when making the appointment if she could get all her shots because some were not yet Due. I was told she could. I get there and this really rude office clerk insisted on explaining to me three times why she couldn't get another vaccine. I get it, Move on. But no, she just didn't seem to understand and gave me this stare. I am sorry, is this a professional office or McDonald's?. She was just horrible. Then, after a 20 minute wait after my scheduled appointment time they take my dog back and the vet was surprised because she's a 15 pound Lhasa also, not the 160 pound dog the clerk put on the chart. Then I had to wait a half hour in the room for them to get the freaking bill ready. It's just not worth my time and energy. I think they would do well to raise their prices just a bit and get some competent staff.
