“I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of last year with the goal of making the best use of my time. I scheduled readings with different mediums, a past life regression session, and attended a seance. There was information on these and other offerings on the hotel's website. I was very happy with all of the things I participated in. My room wasn't fancy, but I was happy with the accommodations. The first two nights (Thursday, Friday) were relaxing and serene. I loved the porches and rocking chairs. Saturday night was a total nightmare. After the seance, a number of people from the seance stayed to talk and socialize in the lobby. This continued until at least 1 am with people actually performing a mini concert. Being one of the closest rooms to the lobby, it was incredibly loud. I realized at that point, that there was no one to complain to because the front office closed at 6. I called the restaurant to complain but the hostess didn't do anything. Finally I went out to ask the group to stop which only minimally reduced the noise. The experience actually freaked me out a bit bc who are guests supposed to contact if there's an issue or emergency? If there's information provided to guests upon check in, I never received it. Other than that, the restaurant was fine but it's the only place in the town. I loved the offerings of the hotel shop and bought gifts for friends and myself. I definitely plan on returning but would rethink the days I stay.”

“Great location for waking in downtown Deland and only a few mins drive to the wedding venues nearby where we got married.Dustin the bar manager was incredible and so flexible staying open for our wedding after party until after midnight and making great drinks. He managed to do this with very short notice due to miscommunication, so we Thank you very much!Rooms are beautifully designed and have bright fresh interior and furniture.Shower heads need to be cleaned better, our friends in the large suite said the same.Communication in general over the last year of booking this hotel for our wedding party was always a little challenging, but I know they have gone through management changes and everyone has always been pleasant. But I do think they will succeed more with clearer channels of communication with guest and staff.Overall though I highly recommended this beautiful hotel.Rooms: Beautiful and clean rooms. Lovely design, fresh and modern.Nearby activities: Wedding venues nearby so perfect for the romantic overnight.Walkability: Easy access to all of downtown Deland shops and restaurants.Food & drinks: Highly recommend the drinks at the bar. Dustin the bar manager was very accommodating and made great drinks.”

“An amazing hidden gem, we loved the size and spaciousness of the room, and the in-house restaurant is top notch as well. A playground a short walk away is a nice unmentioned amenity as well.

Rooms: Nice to get a king, queen, and twin all in our suite, and with a door between rooms for privacy”

“It was such a wonderful trip that we booked for this Memorial Day weekend before we left last year.Nearby activities: We bought our boat so we were able to go up and down the river and had sooooo much fun! Good restaurants nearby. Sit out on your balcony and observe gators, manatee and other wildlife right in front of you. Is lived in Florida all my life and for the first time, saw a bear on our way to Hontoon.”

“I'd have given a 5 if it weren't for the faulty hot tub. A shout out to Sierra, on staff, on the night shift. She's very helpful, kind, and nice to talk with. Double queen bed rooms are clean, neat, and sizeable. Breakfast is definitely much better than most hotels. Many good restaurants nearby. I4 is 1/4 mile away. The first night, the hot tub was being fixed so it was not available. Later, they let us know it was fixed, so the next day we got the hotel for another night. Go figure, the hot tub jets kept shutting off after after a few seconds. So if you need a hot tub, go elsewhere.”

“I recently stayed here and most definitely was a pleasant stay. The new owners are amazing and has cleaned the place up a lot. I have kids and I felt safe I def recommend. Give them a shot u won’t regret it ?”

“On the plus side: fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room.On the minus: In our room, the beds were hard as a board. No blackout curtains either. The toiletries were in extremely tiny bottles, the towels were small, and we could hear everything happening in the hallway.(I wouldn't have expected more had the price been lower, but at the price point I paid? Not acceptable. If I'd paid less than $100 I'd have been okay with it.)Staff was marvelous, no issues whatsoever with them.”

“Booked my stay through American Express, and can’t recall a “breakfast package” it is possible I may have missed, however if not selected, it is not able to be added on at all in the future. Our tv color balance was off horrendously, and when asked if there was any way to change, maintenance crew is not available. And during a short stay, made it irritating being that I will have only had one more night. Room service did not come in at all during the whole day despite not having anything on the door. The A/c is very noisy, and whenever it shuts off crackles when turned off. Overall for an astounding 173 a night, not even including taxes and fees, I wouldn’t recommend staying here for anything. Hopefully the Hampton inn down the street will be a much better opportunity for my next trip. The location is good, but for another location to be cheaper, with a indoor pool, it can’t be much worse than here.”

“It's the kind of place that even though they did charge me a deposit after already paying for room online.,, I would definitely stay again. Dogs were comfortable and I actually slept all through a Friday night without any nonsense going on outside. Since my dogs didn't wake me up I know it's a quiet and relaxing place. Didn't get to use the pool but it was spotless... Checking out was professional,The Young guy was very courteous. No one rushed us out to leave.. GOOD JOB ON THERE PART.. I WILL RETURN WHEN DRIVING THROUGH TOWN FOR GOOD SERVICE LIKE THAT..”

“We stayed there 1 night we were running around and decided to stay in town instead of driving the few hours home with our daughter. Sereena was super helpful and sweet! We had our 10 month old daughter with us and had her pack n play and other stuff, so I asked for a downstairs unit and she said "We have one left! It was waiting for you!" We spoke a little bit, I asked about breakfast and then we were to our room. No complaints! The bed was very comfy, actually got 4 pillows for our king bed (yay!!)Sereena told us that if we needed anything to just ask and she'd be happy to help, but we didn't need it as everything was great!! Thanks!”

“Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very neat and clean. They need to revisit their pet policy as there was a barking dog in one of the rooms close to us. They need to work on more hot water and better water pressure.Safety: Felt very safe entire time. Well lit.”
