“I stopped in to grab a bottle of water before heading back home after running an errand on this side of town - although they don't sell gas like most convenient stores do these days they do have a lot of the essentials that could save you a trip into town if you lived out this way and it seems the area residents appreciate it.The clerk was very nice, offering a receipt and small bag and even though I didn't need either it was nice to be asked. It looks like most of the customers this morning were buying ice, beer, smokes and lottery tickets and there's plenty of those options here. I'd definitely stop here again if in the area...”

“This was my first visit to this Food Mart / Gas Station and although I didn't go inside this is my kinda place, it's got real personality and is so well kept. I stopped in to fuel up the F-150 and the fuel island shows off the pride the ownership has for this business everything was clean and well maintained. I love that the pumps run parallel to the store front and the bonus is that they sell diesel - I'm thinking this is the perfect set-up to fuel the MotorCoach, the property is somewhat limiting but the turnout is more than sufficient to accommodate the bus (still haven't named her yet). The fuel prices are competitive and by the flow of customers in and out during my brief visit I know there's something special about this place. It appears to be the perfect location for most of the patrons to grab that 12 pack and a pack of smokes and maybe some lottery tickets and of course a few bucks of gas. Based on the outward appearance and the easy access and exit onto Route 44 this may be a place I frequent, after all I always go for personality over the popularity of the brands where no body knows your name...”

“I’d like to say that I’ve never received service at any other pharmacy the way I do at this location. The pharmacists and everyone else among the staff are all godsends. I feel like I can trust every single person here, and I never have any other issues the way I have at other CVS locations or even other pharmacies. At other locations, specifically north DeLand, it was always a struggle and I was always given a reason why someone couldn’t do something. They didn’t know how, they didn’t have time, they didn’t have a way. Any staff I spoke with over the phone was very quick to be argumentative or raise their voice, and then often times hang up on me if they even answered at all. I’ve never been told anything like this at this location. Everyone makes me feel so welcome, and tries to help me so promptly with any problem I may have. Everyone has been so kind, professional, and it has made a HUGE impact on my health. I feel so confident and hopeful since finding this location and I feel that it should be shared. Thank you to everyone at CVS in Target, Orange City.”

“The staff is much better than average, photo crew is better than average depending on who is working. One lady either scratched the 11x14 photo or the paper was defective and rather than do it over she hid that one on the bottom and only made reference to how good the one on top was. It was so obvious. But I did get my money back.Pharmacy team is awesome, the one on Howland Blvd is a complete nightmare and the male pharmacist is a really rude AH. The providence pharmacy is much better and they seem to care more. I refuse to ever go back to Howland.Spoke with Maria at corporate, and she was a dream to deal with and resolved all my issues and even called me back.”

“I used to avoid this marathon gas station but I recently stopped by because I needed gas badly and I was shocked at the transformation. Huge kudos to the new owners who have remodeled the entire location and upgrade in all the facilities. I'll definitely be coming back here from now on instead of avoiding it. “The store was clean and carried a good variety of stuff, however these poor dogs were trying to get in from the rain one ran inside and I believe scared the front employee because he began talking to me and the other customers asking us to remove the dogs from his store, when they were not ours and I don't believe I'm being paid to remove them if so I would have been behind the counter. I did it free of charge once next time you owe me ;) This wasn't an issue for myself and it seemed the gentel men that walked in behind me who had the same issue also were ok with it. However the man at the register may not receive the same response from other customers and this could possibly conspire into a confrontation or loss of patrons don't accuse or expect customers to remove a problem from the place you are working or are in charge of. At the bar or in a restaurant we have to deal with it we wouldn't ask another guest to remove a drunk man so why ask a person entering your store to remove stray dogs when it's been stated that they don't belong to the person whom you are asking, in fact they were being brought to your attention before they ripped apart your trash in the back and caused you to get fines from the city for having a disaster. Once again just saying I'm glad nothing more came of this sittuation, and maybe you should prepare a night clerk to be capable or not scared of.stray cats.and dogs. As so they won't scared of future business.”

“This store is located on a route I seldom take but after getting detoured because of an accident I found myself having to travel about 20 miles out of the way from my normal morning commute in a vehicle that had the fuel light illuminated at the detour location without an options to fuel up - lucky for me I was driving one of my project cars a Fiat 500 that gets more than 40 mpg so I wasn't really worried of running out but then again I was happy to see this convenient store just a few miles off the I-4 exit. This 7-Eleven was built a few years ago on the corner of Kepler and New York Avenue and what I call the crossroads of Deland so it's alway a busy intersection. There are two entrances and exits and although I don't feel either are good options if you have patience you'll eventually get out. I've always been a fan of Shell gasoline so that was a bonus when I pulled in and the price seems to be competitive with other stations in the area. The property looks to be well maintained and since I paid at the pump I didn't have any interactions with the staff so I can't speak to this. Nothing bad here, but the traffic issues in the area it's probably unlikely that I'd frequent this location...”
