Wish I could leave a better review. We have been here 3 times in 2 years, and service seems to be worse each time for us. They fixed something but were unable to fix all our issues properly, which I understand can happen. But they also did not even close everything up when done, leaving some screws out. This is unacceptable, to not leave something the way you found it.
UPDATE: EDITED REVIEW AFTER REPLY TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW WAS ADDED BELOW
I'm shocked to read this response from Tom Nehl Truck, honestly. We will respond with more details. The dash panels were not re-installed properly. They were misaligned, which did not allow all the screws to be fully inserted and tightened. Are you seriously claiming this was intentionally done by you all to make it easier for someone else to work on it? I was not informed of this before picking it up, nor did I see this explained on the paperwork. I would not have agreed to this. On the drive home, the panels shifted even more due to the fact that the panels were misaligned and all screws were not tightened. You can not leave a job half done and need to leave things the way they were found. Otherwise, further damage or even a safety hazard can result.
I subsequently took the motorhome to another Freightliner service center further away, and they promptly fixed the issues you all couldn't repair. They said there was a separate higher amperage fuse that runs to the high fan setting that was blown, which I suggested to you all over the phone after researching this common issue online. You all said all the fuses were checked and were fine and instead blamed the controller switches, which had to be special ordered. Now I strongly suspect the original controller was fine all along, and the old failing blower motor blew the fuse, as all the fan settings work now after replacing the fuse with the new blower fan.
In addition, the other Freightliner shop said you all installed the brand new blower motor incorrectly, without proper grounding, as the ground wire was installed over a painted area instead of bare metal. This is basic knowledge any mechanic should know of. The other Freightliner truck dealer, which is also Oasis certified like you, was able to fix all these problems properly and didn’t claim they were non-chassis issues that Tiffin the manufacturer could only fix. We sincerely hope you can learn from these concerns instead of excusing them.

Have had an issue with this truck for over 20 years and finally decided to let a friend of mine andy Nolin take a stab at figuring it out.. within an hour or 2 had it diagnosed and within a couple days I left with the truck.. mind you it's an international so parts were hard to obtain on a 1995 truck.. a special thanks to andy and the guys at tom nehl in lake city for an awesome job

They are awesome.
We had a blown steer tire on our motorhome on a Saturday night on our way home to Michigan. After spending a night at a hotel, we were towed (see another review) to Tom Nehl's on Sunday morning, and we stayed in our motorhome using their RV parking area, which had an electrical hookup.
Monday morning, Jim and Mike got the repairs rolling quickly. Since they don't do tires, they coordinated a tire shop (see another review) to come to their facility to replace the tire. While the wheel was off, it was determined that the brake air line was snapped, Mike quickly found the part, and the tire guys installed it right there in the parking lot.
After the tire was installed, the motorhome was moved into a bay for repairs of the other damage caused by the blowout.
We were there for three nights, and each night, they made sure we could have our motorhome back to stay in.
The entire team at Tom Nehl's was exceptional. If we lived in Florida, this would be our only place for our motorhome's freightliner chassis maintenance.
Mike, Jim, and the rest of the Tom Nehl team THANK YOU.

Hello,
I am not happy about the way they are treating some drivers that I know.
Please be careful out here. When people know this is your bread and butter they will try to keep you coming back.
Checking with the BBB and yelp for more reviews.

Awesome shop with polite eager to help personnel. They redesigned and repaired the exhaust system on my motor home. The cost was about 1/3 of what I was expecting.
Now the turbo charger on CAT C7 is whistling Dixie. I like to hear it whistling. Great job!
