I actually did not get a chance to stay at this establishment but Holiday Inn chains are normally great to stay. They offer an indoor pool which is great for the kids to entertain themselves during any weather. I came to this Holiday Inn in Lake City to help out with a Santa breakfast for the kids. I met one of the owners and worked with several staff members. If you have a large group that is coming into town and need somewhere to stay the sales manager will work on booking multiple rooms. If you are wanting something quiet, this can be, but you have to pick the best times. A lot of softball teams will stay here at it is closer to the ball park.

The inside of the hotel and lobby area are very nice. We liked the unique layout of the hotel levels. The rooms were a bit dated. The fixtures in the bathrooms need to be updated. Our toilet must have had a leak in the tank flapper because the toilet ran all night.

I stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and enjoyed the stay. Dinner food and bar was excellent Stayed here again for 2 days in 2023 and really enjoyed the experience. Downstairs bar and food still on point. Highly recommend.

Hotel was nice but the service could have been better. Every night I stayed, the price increased by a bunch. No one on staff could give me an answer other than "it's because you booked through IHG." Well, it's an IHG hotel! If you call the hotel, it directs you to an IHG hotel call center and online is also IHG. I understand that weekends are more expensive, but I was not here on the weekends. I just wish the staff had a better answer. Also, no breakfast unless you want to pay for it. Parking lot always seems to be full so if you get here late, good luck.

Very nice hotel! Only there for summer institute through my job. The conference room was really nice. I would stay there if I needed to. They have a waterfall in the dining area for breakfast which was cool and a good restaurant hooked on them.

At first impression, it's a nice hotel. There's a bar and a waterfall in the lobby, after all. But there's only sit-down breakfast that doesn't even start on time at 6:30 (why so late?), the rooms are dated, the key cards decide when they want to work, and the windows are not sound proof at all; you know every time there's a loud vehicle on the highway.

Rooms are kinda outdated, but still nice. Beds are really soft.No continental breakfast, the attendant at the food area was rude about it. I didn't realize it wasn't an area I couldn't walk into. I was supposed to stand at counter and order breakfast to purchase. Very limited items.I've never stayed at a nice hotel where breakfast wasn't included. But front desk, housekeepers, and maintenance man were very sweet. No complaints except for the breakfast lolI will stay again. I'm here for a week this time. I travel with my company when I'm needed in area, so I'm sure I'll be back again soon.Extra bonus, there's an awesome restaurant next door. Ruby Tuesday. Great salad bar, full bar, great menu items( affordable) and GREAT service

This is one of the nicer Holiday Inns I have stayed in with one exception....our closet smelled *awful* when we opened it's door, so we couldn't use it for our luggage. You could tell housekeeping had tried to cover up the stank but they missed the mark. The comfy beds and the nice ladies who served us breakfast in the beautiful lobby area the next morning made up for it.

I've been to several holiday inns. This is, so far, the nicest I've seen. Wife and sister in law enjoyed the lobby bar. Son and I enjoyed the indoor heated pool. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Service was awesome from the front desk to the bar to house keeping to our server at breakfast. Sometimes when people tell you to have a good day it sounds like they either are just being polite or they were told to always say it to customers. Here it Never felt that way. Each person seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing and wanted to help. 10/10 will definitely be back!Walkability: There is a steak and shake about half a block away (open until midnight) and a cracker barrel across the street. Close and easy walk to food.

Not great. The bathroom was small and smells like mildew, there was 3 tiny soaps, only 3 normal sized towels, and the tub took forever to drain and had someone else’s hair on it. The room itself is fine though the walls and ceiling are paper thin and there was small kids yelling and screaming at 11:30pm. This place is just above hell no let’s go get a refund and it has a ruby Tuesday that seems fine and was quick with making the food.

Stayed here 4/21/23 -indoor pool, not a lot of outdoor stuff. Rooms seemed clean, bed comfy. Didn’t have breakfast, looked like it might be one where you order from a menu. Chic-fil-a practically on-site. Outside could use a good power washing.

Searched our I 10 route for dog friendly motels and had few options while driving to our new home in Florida. I reserved a room at Quality Inn in Live Oak, Florida for $150/night which proved to be poor choice due to 8 men partying with handle of whiskey right outside our room. We were afraid for our safety and for our belongings especially when I learned it was popular spot for hitchhikers so close to I 10. I called the Holiday Inn and Suites in Lake City and fled to the safety of this lovely hotel. Thanks, Holiday Inn for offering safe, clean rooms where you can get a good night's sleep. Just need more dog friendly hotels along I 10, not all Holiday Inns are pet friendly.

Thanks to the staff, they made our unplanned stay pleasant. Our vehicle broke down in Lake City and was going to be 3 days before we could get back on the road to head home to Michigan. Everyone we met was so nice and helpful. A nice gentleman with a truck helped us get from a car repair place to the hotel. This city is pleasant. A+ for hospitality with everyone.

Stopped on our way to Florida. It was nice. Thought the bathroom could use a little bit more cleaning. The faucet especially. Didn't have free breakfast. Didn't like that!
