I really wanted to give this review a 1 star but the lady at the front desk was very sweet. I inquired about a property for rent in Lake City multiple times. I was told previous application was denied and that my fiance and I could apply. I went into the office to ask some questions most importantly that we have ducks and if that would pose an issue with renting. The lady at the front desk went back into an office and came out apologetically saying no. No reason as to why but just no. The realtor couldn't take a minute of her time to speak to me face to face? Mind that I went to the rental address and the whole street is flooded with cats on all the properties but we can't have ducks that would be fenced in?

I understand the market is very aggressive With more people looking than there is availabilities after a brief conversation with somebody in their office it doesn’t sound like they’re interested in helping. I will look somewhere else

No follow up on a property that had multiple failed contract. Tried to call to schedule showing and or make offer no one called me back so I’ll go thru another LOYAL company who calls you back and let the seller know!!!

I would have given no stars but since I had to I’d say because their tone was very friendly. If you are a person of color please do not go here even if you have the money. They automatically profile you.I first attempted to check their website but I was having a hard time looking at homes for sale and also rentals. So, I decided to come in person to speak with someone about 15 to 20 minutes before they closed. The lady mentioned that they are doing renovations on some and appeared to not be exactly sure what they have available besides one unit that she knew was available. In which she mentioned the price is near $1,000 for a 2bed/ 1 bath rental without washer/dryer connections. She was looking on her computer like she had so much to look at and offer but clearly there was nothing but a blank screen. She talked as if she had so much work to do and as I left the lot, the lady left right behind me too.She did mention another partner company that’s the same as theirs (Adams Agency) & mentioned I could go on their website and add myself to the waiting list. As soon as I go to the website, there’s no waiting list there or any website information besides we are currently remodeling our website. Which I kind of understood because she mentioned their companies are merging and it’s been a lot of people applying for just a unit.Despite the nice friendly tone, What I didn’t like was the unwelcoming environment and the low key and disrespect that was indirectly made.People show interest in who they want to help. Some think they better than you. Some just rude. I really don’t care but be upfront and honest with it. I wouldn’t suggest not just people of color but no one to go to Hallmark Real Estate of Lake City, FL as their prices are overrated. I can guarantee YOU that you can find somewhere else that’s worth paying all that money whether or not you have it. I normally would look at reviews and this time I didn’t. I will definitely start back because if I did check the reviews, I would have never came.

Old school caucasians who talk to black folk but did not properly offer customer care or services. No follow up or offer for assistance. Good reviews all from those who are not black. If you have melonin look elsewhere. Pick a new city as well

Listed my home with them, had an offer same day. Bought my new home with them and it was a foreclosure and the bank was difficult to work with (according to my loan officer) but hallmark worked hard to make it happen for me!
