Go here first! It had been years since I went to a pawnshop because I’ve always been scammed at them(including lake city area pawnshops) but THIS pawn shop is top notch. They give you A very fair price They are good hearted people & in no way greedy. They know how to run this type of business correctly where they are benefiting as well as their customers are benefiting. Whether you’re selling buying the prices are amazing. Highly recommend! Very nice owners, with an inviting, organized, and clean store. I was offered more for my ring than any other pawn shop in Lake City or Gainesville. They have a large selection of jewelry that is well lit and displayed. It made finding a replacement item easy.Will go back in the future!

Took my husband’s ring to be fixed, after it had to be cut off. I had it back within a week. You can’t even tell it was ever cut! Super friendly and a great experience!

I don't even want to tell you about this place b/c then you will go there, and when I go there, they will have less inventory. The only reason I'm telling you is b/c you cannot trust every pawn store you ever meet. Some pawn stores are shady. Some pawn stores are liars. Some pawn stores are run by your ex-boyfriend. Yeah, I know. So when I find a pawn store that is operating as a legit business with fine jewelry at reasonable prices, I share it with my friends. Hello. You are my friend now.

Very nice place recently bought a framing nailer there.... took it to the job and it didn’t work (I’m sure they checked it before putting it up for sale) I called they was very pleasant... took the nail gun back to ... instant refund in cash... they stand behind what the sell.. thanks American Pawn great service

I have done business with American Pawn since way before they moved to new location. I would never trust any other pawn but American Pawn. The staff is friendly and give you honest advise on pawns or purchases.

Was yelled at for standing too close to another customer? How do you figure when the employees have to get close to everyone themself then you? Was not allowed to look at "non essential items". Not going back. These people live in their own world. Probably liberals.Not much for conversation either.
