This is another one of those great attractions to sit and cool down for a bit. Plus, it is a cute attraction - and the song is catchy!

This ride is not in Disneyland so it was one we had to do. You are warned several times that once the ride/show starts, you can't leave until it is done. It is a 20 minute show and all the seats rotate around the stage. It is definitely a nice ride to be on when it is very hot outside.
Not the most memorable show but I still remember the song from the last time I rode it 11 years ago. So maybe it is memorable!

This is a great attraction. It helps us reflect on the past and how far we have come in innovation. It is very positive and interesting to watch.

Hands down one of our family’s favorite attractions at The Magic Kingdom! Not only has this ride been riding consistently for many years, but a brilliant design! The concept of the carousel being different time periods and the audience rotating turns this attraction into a ride/ theater experience! Lots of animatronics to tell the story of progress through the different years and seasons. A nice break from your feet and is air conditioned. Holds a good amount so not a lot of wait time. A great time!

This is the perfect place to escape the harsh weather at Disney - cold, heat, and rain! There is rarely a wait. It is climate controlled. It is interesting to go from the past to the present and see how far we have come in technology, fashion, and more. The seats are comfortable and the 20 minute turn around the stage of animatronic people is relaxing and informative. I remember the first time I saw this exhibit/ride. It was before the internet, cell phones, and video games. Now those advances are part of the last stage in the carousel. How will this stage change in the next ten years? I hope I'll see it and all the changes to come in the future.

I love how old and boring this show is. The horrible logo and right when you are about to dose off, they sing that catchy tune. It's been a week after I've seen this show and I'm still singing this song. The unenthusiastic worker said this is a 20 min show and this is your last chance to leave. I laughed and knew we were in for a treat. One of the audiences left in the middle of the show causing the show to stop and repeat. Even better, thank you.I really did end up loving this show and will be sad if it ever gets replaced.I found this "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" sign and had to buy it.

My (DAS) son who is on the spectrum, and I are a Annual Passholder for more than 5 years, we always enjoy to visit the Carousel of Progress, but yesterday June 09th around 8:30pm after getting the ride (Carousel of Progress), it was starting to rain very heavy, so me and my DAS son were crossing the yellow line but at the same time I was putting my son's poncho rain, and then I heard someone yelling so it was one of the employees Ashlee telling very disrespectful way, "Get out from here!", so I told her to please wait anyways I was on my way passing the yellow line, I know how ot works, its not my first time coming to the park, so I told her to pleaseto wait, and Im doing slow because my son is Autistic, and I was putting his poncho, and then she raised her voice even more loud and start moving her hands and arms trying to intimidate me, my son was starting to have a panic attack because of the screaming and also of the rain, and Ashlee told me she doesnt care my son has disabilities and told me I want you both to get out of here, and move!
I told her that are certain ways to talk and not jelling at me and my son, in all these years no one who works at Disney was ever so disrespectful and treated me and my disabled son of the worse way, I asked her please I need to talk with your manager and she said I am the manager and I can tell you what I want and raise my voice if I want too, so get out from here. I was very embarrassing the way she was treating us, maybe she had a bad day, but its not a good excuse to behave that way, nobody have to treat anyone the way she did to us, I went to complain to guess relation and it turns out that she was not the manager, and she was the Coordinator of the ride, Ashlee did not even care to yell at me and my Autistic son like garbage and kick us away (me and my son)
I wish Disney should be very careful with that lady Ashlee who works on that ride, and to stop her to keep treating people very disrespectful, because we were not the only one, but also other tourists who where there as well, we dont deserve to got treat by that way, people like me who loves to come to Disney Parks and enjoy, and where most of them (the employees are always welcoming people with smile) and kind to everyone.

This is the most underrated ride in all Orlando! Take a trip to see how times have changed in a rotating theatre. I wish I had more pics to share! If you wanna get out of the heat for a good twenty minutes and sit while you take that break check out the Carousel of Progress! The older generation will truly appreciate it, Dad loves it!

On this account I review places I visit with my service dog in training, Barbie. We road recently and I was able to sit and “ride” in my wheel chair while my family sat in front row companion seats. This ride has been going under cosmetic changes the last few years so if it’s been a while since you’ve ridden, it’s worth a stop in. For service dog owners just remember Rover is a regular character in the show, and effects like lightening occur. Very chill and good entry ride point for those bringing service animals who can ride rides without height limits like this. I was impressed at the accommodations with my chair and my dog and I enjoyed the escape from the heat. Love love love this Walt Disney original.

Carousel of Progress is a nostalgic journey through time! The animatronics and catchy tunes transport you back to the good ol' days. It's a fun and educational experience for the whole family. However, the outdated technology and worn-out seats could use a revamp. Still, worth a visit!

The original original was presented at the NY World's Fair way back. This is a bit of whimsical look at progress throughout the 20th century until now. The rotating stage (you move) means you see different eras. It is a fun ride, you get to sit down for awhile. May not be great for teens, but small kids and older adults will definitely enjoy.

Everyday is a great, big, beautiful tomorrow when I am not "riding" this ride. This ride is basically and should be for adults only because it is pure comedy gold if you're not an impressionable young kid and think that what JOHN is saying is FACT! This ride is a hilarious RELIC of gosh whenever it was first introduced, which honesty feels like when the park first opened or something. It's obviously not quite a ride in the sense that you're moving, but more that the stage is moving as you sit in the audience and rest your weary feet.it's all animatronics and takes you through different decades and how life, technology, and people evolved throughout all of that. It's all told through this (INCOMPETENT) narrator John, who calmly explains everything to you while chaos happens around him (HELP YOUR WIFE, JOHN). It's extremely steeped in gender norms and family stereotypes, and is just generally so outdate. The ride's last time period is the "future" and its grasp on the future is very Smart House-esque and just what people dreamed up the future would look like in the 1980s or something. So I just worry about the impressionable, young minds and also am wary of all of those who LOVE this ride. Yes, it's camp and it's a silly, ancient relic of the past, so I understand people who love this ride...ironically. But I honestly question how much people love this and how genuine vs. ironic that love really is lmao. It's located in Tomorrowland and should only be a ride you ride to rest your feet, but even then there are a ton of other better options right in Tomorrowland for you to rest your feet at like the PeopleMover or the Monsters Laugh Factory - both are a lot more family friendly than this!

Horrible, awful, stay away. Ride is 20+ long boring minutes without the possibility of voluntarily exiting. You are stuck there. My case with a cranky baby and antsy kids. I wish I had a review like this to warn me.

A great “ride” in Tomorrowland for the whole familyDisney's Carousel of Progress is a classic attraction in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom theme park in Walt Disney World. The attraction, which originally debuted at the 1964 New York World's Fair, takes guests on a journey through the decades, showcasing technological advancements in the home and everyday life. The attraction features a rotating theater that moves around several stages, each representing a different era in American history. Guests follow the story of a typical American family as they experience the changes brought about by new inventions and technology. The attraction's animatronic characters and catchy theme song, "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow," are truly iconic symbols of Disney's dedication to innovation and progress. The attraction may feel a bit outdated in terms of technology and special effects, but it still holds a special place in my heart and the hearts of many Disney fans, who appreciate its nostalgic charm and historical significance. It is a nice ride, in a pleasant atmosphere and a great air-conditioned space on a hot Florida day. It tells the story of 20th-century technological advances from the viewpoint of an American Family. I enjoy this ride in the heart of the Magic Kingdom Tomorrowland.Overall, Disney's Carousel of Progress is a unique and enjoyable attraction that offers a glimpse into the past while celebrating the promise of a brighter future. It's a must-see for anyone visiting Walt Disney World who wants to experience a piece of Disney history.
