To be fair I didn’t actually go on the speedway, but simply walking past was enough to have us choking with the stench of gas fumes. No exaggeration to say that the air around the ride was unbreathable. I’m stunned that this ride is still operational in its current format. I know that it must be a lot of fun for kids to ride it, but come on Disney, this is awful by todays standards.

Cute because kids can drive but the cars are old, the fuel smell is strong, and they rarely go in the direction you steer. Very slow going.

Tomorrowland Speedway is an exhilarating attraction that brought immense joy to my 5-year-old. The opportunity to drive their own car had them beaming with excitement. With hands on the wheel, they navigated the track, feeling a sense of independence and thrill. While the speed may be moderate, the experience of controlling their vehicle and competing with others was an absolute delight for my little one. Tomorrowland Speedway offers a memorable and enjoyable experience that is perfect for young adventurers eager to embrace their inner race car driver.

What I like about coming to Tomorrowland Speedway is that picture you and your friends are coming, and they want to drive a racing car. To point out; Picture the Tomorrowland Speedway is like a Mario Kart-inspired racing speedway, instead of some racing cars, all you have is some karts loaded into the starting line. Also, there is an additional sign that read:⚠ ???????: ???????? (????????) ???????? ?? ?????? ????????-????????, ???????? ??? ???????? ?????? ???????? ?? ????, ??? ?? ??? ???'? ???? ?? ???? ???, ???? ???? ??????/?????? ?????? ?? ??? ?? ????????. ??????, ?? ? ????? ?? ????????-????????, ?? ?? ????? ??????????? ?? ?? ?? ???? ???????? ??? ?????? ????????. ???? ???? ?? ???? ???? ??????'? ??????? ?????.Then you have friends not wearing some costumes and some friends wearing costumes (examples are friends being Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, etc.), on their karts. At first I was shocked to see someone wearing a Nintendo-inspired costume for once, and before the signal changed to green, everyone started revving up their karts and supposedly, I was the one trying to become 1st place in over 3 laps possible. To put the story short, Tomorrowland Speedway is like yet another new generation of all the Mario Kart series combined (Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Double Dash!, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 7, and Mario Kart 8), and rarely it may be fun to try, even if I reach 1st place at each race I participate.All-in-all, it's a great place to experience the adrenaline, at a speedway!

This for kids it’s too slow and you can’t move it to right or left

Since I was a child, I’ve always looked forward to Tomorrowland’s speedway. It stands out from the other rides as it is not thrilling nor nauseating. I could control the acceleration and the track guides my steering. What a wonderful ride that gives control to the user!

I gotta say, this ride totally revved up our family's fun meter! As a parent of three big kids, finding an attraction that everyone can enjoy together is no easy feat, but this one hit the mark. The track was packed with twists and turns, making us feel like real racers. We had a blast maneuvering those cute little cars and competing against each other. The breeze in our faces and the roaring engines added to the excitement.Sure, the cars are not the fastest or most high-tech, but that's part of the charm. It's like a nostalgic trip down memory lane to a simpler time. The kids loved being in control and pretending to be professional drivers. It was a great opportunity for them to practice their hand-eye coordination and learn about basic road safety. One tip: Try to go early in the day to avoid long queues. We managed to hop in without much wait, and that made the experience even better. All in all, Tomorrowland Speedway is a classic attraction that brings families together for a thrilling ride. It may not be the wildest or most cutting-edge ride in the park, but it's a guaranteed winner for all ages. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

A ride where you get to drive a go-kart around a track with control over the gas and some steering control (You are on a track that won't let you veer off course). The track itself is basic and a bit boring. Disney's continued use of gas powered cars here is baffling, as nothing says "Tomorrowland" like gas fumes. You can easily avoid this ride and not miss much, but you can usually find times with no wait if you want to experience it or for completionists.

One of the worst of the original rides at Magic Kingdom--long, long overdue for a major overhaul. It's basically just a slot car ride like at a million other parks--low originality, even considering Walt's longtime collaborations with several car companies.Note how many people in these reviews mention smell, and exhaust fumes? Not pleasant, and certainly doesn't help the general atmosphere of this area.A: This is the Future area; let's update this to something more futuristic.B: This ride is slow. Not exactly exciting, unless you're about 6 and get to drive.C: There are much better car rides now--like the Radiator Springs Racers at California Adventure. Fast, great theming, a lot of fun. We need something like that here, maybe themed to a much more futuristic film.

What a fun ride with your kids. This will come close to their first driving experience. Mini cars with the steering control and accelerator. You can also get the driving license photo - been there done that for $7.

I drove 42 hours from California and all I wanted to do was jump in a smaller car and drive some more. This is a fun attraction but it will make you feel like you e never driven before as it is pretty much impossible to drive without crashing from side to side. And much like driving on the interstate, you run the risk of some teenager smashing into the back of your car. What’s not to like?

A great idea but falls short: very short. This ride on its face is great. However, once you are on it you realize it “sucks.” You aren’t really steering the kart and it is in fact hard to keep straight and typically bounces side to side. The imagineers could have done a better job with this one. Try it you won’t like it.

With all the covid restrictions this is the only thing I haven’t really seen them clean so I would just be cautious of that to make sure you wash your hands after riding in your own little cart. They don’t move very fast, you can’t bump them, and it is not an accurate simulation of driving a car. Chances are if you drive a real car you can’t drive this car.
