“So many amenities!! Close to all the Disney parks and they have shuttles that bring you to the parks and return you to the hotel in the evening. Universal is a 15 minute car ride. My son loved the pool and the splash pad. We found our favorite hotel in Orlando and we will be staying here again on our future trips to Disney. My son loved it here!!Food & drinks: Complimentary buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day. Great selection of food. Even my picky son was able to find something he liked. The 5:30 kickback was also a hit. It was pretty much dinner with 2 free alcoholic drinks.”

“I recently stayed at Art of Animation for the first time and I really enjoyed my experience! My friend and I booked a Little Mermaid room and were pixie dusted (upgraded) into a Cars suite. This was a BEYOND magical experience but it definitely not the norm. The Cars suite was super roomy, cozy, and incredibly close to the cafeteria, as well as the Skyliner (my favorite perk of this resort).Although, I think if we would've stayed in our original Little Mermaid room, we would've been exhausted by the back and forth trips to the cafeteria and Skyliner, as they are quite far away. And since the Little Mermaid rooms are the only "standard" ones (the only ones that are actually a Value part of the Value Resort), I don't think we would've enjoyed our time as much.So I highly recommend Art if you are able to swing a family suite but if you are only able to get a standard, I would recommend looking into Pop Century; a very similar resort that also has access to the Skyliner but ONLY has standard (Value) rooms.”

“This was our first time at a Disney grounds resort and we had a wonderful time. We stayed in a deluxe standard studio. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms and the room was plenty of space for a family of four. I do agree the resort is spaced out. It provides a nice atmosphere for relaxing however with small kids it would have been nicer to be closer to the main building. If I had older kids I wouldn't mind. The pool with the kid area is wonderful. Just enough space for them to have fun. We also swam in the quiet pool as well. Captain Cooks and Koana cafe both have great options. There was enough variety and the ordering ahead was easy. Rooms were cleaned daily. The resort staff were friendly as well. The family activities and view of fireworks can't be beat. Monorail to MK was a huge perk and couldn't have been made easier. We will be back!”

“Beach Club is one of Disney World's upper tier resorts and can definitely be on the more expensive side as a result. The room we had was nice and the location just outside of Epcot is fantastic. You also have good access to transportation and the boardwalk area. The location is definitely the biggest perk of staying here. As for the resort amenities, they were alright. There is one large pool area that is shared by Yacht Club, Stormalong Bay. Despite its large size, it's very broken up and disjointed. We honestly weren't fans of it. Aside from that area, there are two smaller pools. The other amenities in the resort itself were fine, but nothing that really stands out. A lot of areas of the resort were definitely showing their age as well. Overall, we had a good stay, but I don't know if we would return to this resort.”

“We stayed one night on New Year's Eve Eve in a studio room. The room was nice. It was slightly smaller than we initially expected but still very nice. We were on the 3rd floor with no real view, so for the fireworks, we just went to the 7th floor and watched with a nice view from lobby windows at the elevators. Definitely would stay again, but we would probably prefer a 1 bedroom better.”

“Pretend you are a millionaire! Spacious resort, attentive room staff, absolutely delicious food in all the restaurants, beautiful surroundings. Property includes two pools, heated, and a themed splash fountain. Life guards on duty at one pool, mostly young kids are there, but the other pool is definite relaxation. Absolutely wonderful vacation for young and old! I would come back, for sure!”

“It was awesome, highly recommend adding breakfast buffet to your package (made to order omelets and lots to choose from for everybody) and doing valet parking. They also have a great coffee shop (best iced white chocolate mocha I've had), a BX for snacks and souvenirs and more with great and friendly staff, their restaurant Manginos was great too, tried the sandwiches to go one day and they were good to... I gave service a 4 because morning of departure on way back to room from breakfast stopped by front desk to have them send bellhop with cart for bags for gentleman to give me number and tell me I can call myself in my room... having worked in a hotel I thought "uhmmm that's why I came to your desk for you who are standing around without customers to call so they'll meet us there and I won't have to wait... but ok don't want to do your job, I'll do it"... all other service was great and accommodating just that one guy. But all and all great to be around my sisters and brothers who serve or have served and facility was nice, clean and patio was awesome!Rooms: Rooms were big, had table with chairs, pullout couch, patio with chairs, big bathroom and ceiling fan! Great room for long stay.Nearby activities: Walt Disney World within minutes, heated pool and lots of walking trails and outside and inside seating.Safety: Guard doing id checksWalkability: Lots of trails and wish I had some time to fish the ponds there.Food & drinks: Great food 3 of the four places they have onsite. Never got to try 4th place.Noteworthy details: The BX staff was great and helpful everyday we went in there, the baristas at cafe... you can tell they drink coffee cause all our coffee was awesome and you could taste the coffee (if you know what I mean)”

“For starters the biggest challenges we face every time we go here is it's always at the beginning of the trip and we never bring enough money. We have been all over dinsey world, to Disneyland in California and in Paris, but the shopping is better at downtown Disney then all the rest of them combined. The restaurants are much easier to get into and the Christmas tree display is Epic.Nearby activities: Shopping!”

“A cozy poolside bar with fireworks views, Banana Cabana offers the Pineapple bread pudding you can also find at Sebastian’s Bistro. The dessert came with warm caramel to pour over the bread pudding à la mode. Service by the team was great. On a cool evening, they had heaters going, providing warmth and soft lighting.”

“Excellent location, just 15 minutes away from Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, both via Skyliner, and also 20 mins away by bus from Disney Spring shopping experience. It has one themed pool, usually somewhat crowded, but also each island has its own quiet pool, which is what we enjoyed the most.As with any Disney experience, the service, and and all cast members (employees) are very friendly and helpful. The only down side is the size of the bathroom, a bit smaller than normal hotels, but there is a division between the sinks and the toilette/shower area.”

“A great time everytime we visit. Not an official disney hotel, but you wouldn't know it. The same magical Disney feeling throughout. An easy commute to any of the parks”

“The location is great - very close to everything and has direct access to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood from the resort. Also you can simply walk to Epcot along the beautiful Boardwalk and be there in less than 10 minutes.Resort lobby needs some acoustic al treatment as it gets too loud in the evenings. The AC in the rooms doesn't work well. Also, when guests visit during the convention please make sure to have more restaurants open to avoid massive lineups.Other than this really enjoyed my stay and the service at the hotel.Walkability: Close to Epcot, 10 minute walk or ferry, and a 10 minute ferry to Disney's Hollywood Studios”

“Booked a 3 night stay here for our Disneyworld trip and we got a two queen sized bed suite. Upon arrival, we noticed that the the lobby was being renovated and we could not access the main entrance. They did have signs up though directing us to go to the side of the building. We walked on in and the worker greeted us. I set my luggage down at one of the tables and went to check in. Check in was not until 3pm and the room that I had picked on the 7th floor was not ready yet. The worker did let me know that I could check in early for an extra fee of $35 or that I could wait for the room to be ready. I decided to pay the early check in fee since it was only 11am and we still had time to go up and rest. He processed the paperwork, checked me in, and I was offered cookies and water as I departed the desk. Once upstairs, our room was easy to find and we were now staying on the 6th floor. We walked into our suite and it was very nice, updated, clean, and smelled good. I quickly blasted the AC and it too worked great. We had a dining table, mini fridge, two TV's, a big couch / bed, a full sized closet, and microwave all in our room! Housekeeping came everyday of our stay even though we did not request it, so thank you! It was very nice to walk into a clean room after a long day at the parks. The housekeepers were also very friendly and said hi to us when we walked past them in the hall.We visited the pool for a few hours on Saturday and it was pretty busy as most of the chairs and tables were being used. We luckily were able to find one where I could lay and tan. The grounds surrounding the pool area are well kept and the grass is lush and green. The splash pad for kids was not open at this time. We had a few drinks at the pool bar and the bartender was very friendly! We had no issues during our stay and we felt safe while we were there. Can't wait to see what the lobby will be like once its done being renovated!Disney shuttles are provided to and from the parks. We only used it once and the ride was great!”
