The location for this hotel is great. Easy access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, in just minutes with the Skyliner. The buses to other parks were fairly quick in our experience too, and we never had to wait very long.
However while the resort grounds are beautiful, the rooms were lacking. They were very basic and outdated, and the bathroom especially looked like one in a motel. Our room wasn't entirely clean either, with hairs and dust in the drawers and the fold up bed not having sheets changed. For the price you pay, this was not good.
The hotel works well if you're going to try to spend as much time at the parks, but otherwise it isn't worth the cost.

Gigantic hotel with everything on site, 4 swimming pools, restaurants, the rooms are good but a little dated. The big strong point of the hotel is the Skylinner means of transport which gives very quick access to several Disney parks.
Noteworthy details: Skylinner, ultra-fast means of transportation for Disney HS and Epcot parks

Rooms: Rooms sre nice. However this hotel has no elevators. Only 2 floors but still lots of climbing to bring up luggage.
Nearby activities: All the WDW parks and Disney Springs. Everything accessible with hotel transportation.
Walkability: Lot of walking. No rooms are attached to the main lobby.
Food and drinks: The food is the same every day. Wish they would switch it up a bit. We did take the skyliner to Pop Century for Breakfast and Lunch 1 day.

Stayed at a few Disney world resorts and this by far is the worst. Even the cheaper ones are better

Incredible, a superb hotel that takes you to the Caribbean, everything is there: atmosphere, restaurant, skylinner and fast bus to the parks.

DEANA on the skyliner was absolutely shocking when during a quiet time I asked discreetly if we could have a car to ourselves due to DAS requirement…..started shouting really loud she didn’t care about DAS and she would definitely be putting others in the car with us despite me begging her not to….shame on you how you could treat a young child in this way! Shocking….

Still have 4 days left of our 8 day stay here. Disappointed from day one for a reservation that was made a year in advance. I booked 2 rooms to be side by side for my husband and I and second room for my son and daughter in law. Needless to say we did not get the side by side rooms and our rooms were not ready till 4:30 even though when we arrived at 2:00 and was told they would be ready by 3:00. My husband and I are Floridians which I was told we were able to get a discount on both rooms and park tickets for just us two due to the fact my son and daughter in law are not residences , they did not honor the discount and gave me a nonsense excuse as to why they could not. Rooms are completely outdated and have a musky odor. Yes the skyway tram is great to get to park but the sound of the mechanism in our room is a constant loud humming noise! So far my sleep is next to none after walking around in the heat all day and being dead tired. It’s a shame we waited so long for this family trip and spent lots of money. I stayed at this resort years ago , boy what a difference and not in a good way!

This is a family friendly resort! My wife and I met our son and his family at the resort for an extended stay. The cast members are friendly and considerate. There are several pools, restaurants, and stores. We'll definitely return to the Caribbean Beach Resort.
Rooms: Modest rooms but very comfortable.
Nearby activities: Pools and restaurants are close and convenient.
Safety: No problems
Walkability: Walking to transportation, both buses the Skyliner, were close and convenient.

Hotel well located for access to Hollywood Studio and Epcot via the skyliner (possible to reach Magic Kingdom via the monorail crossing Epcot), the choice was made to optimize travel and not depend on buses (or others).
Moderate category hotel, The rooms are ok without being crazy, motel style which overlooks the outside, not particularly quiet. Housekeeping 1 day out of 2 in our case. Very very noisy air conditioning.
Conclusion: expensive for hotel services (but we are with Mickey and he knows the business) but well positioned for traveling to the parks.
Noteworthy details: Proximity to the Skyliner

Carribean Beach!! I could write for days! You truly made our first family trip to Disney extra special, extra magical! Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. The rooms were VERY clean as well as the entire resort. We will be using Carribean Beach for our next Disney Trip. It was truly perfect in every way!
Rooms: Quiet, and VERY well maintained and clean
Nearby activities: The hotel activities were always ran very smoothly and were a lot of fun for the kids.
Safety: Quiet and someone always checkin on property
Walkability: If you want the bus and skyliner. Jamaica building is the way to do it.
Food and drinks: Great food. Easy and quick service
Noteworthy details: What a wonderful stay.
