“They are usually stocked fairly well. There are sometimes very long lines, but they always work through them pretty quickly. This is our primary shopping location right now. I have noticed that after a long time of having the best prices on certain items, they are no longer the cheapest choice. So, be aware.”
“Grandkids liked the baby gators and picked out a souvenir. Grabbed a Florida T shirt for their other grandmother. Hubby liked all the candy. We bought a bottle of gator seasoning. WhoKnew lol. I thought most prices were fair. I’d stop by again to buy Disney t shirts.”
“Quick & easy stop here for some last-minute groceries. Employees were busy cleaning up for closure, but that's to be expected. We all want to get out at the end of our shift!”

In response to a lot of the negative reviews, I think a few clarifications are in order.First, fruit sometimes goes bad. It’s a sad thing, really, but it happens. If you’re shopping and pick up a bag of fruit, you should always check for rotten or moldy fruit, the same as you would at a supermarket — hopefully. I know if I left Target or Walmart with fruit and some of it was bad I wouldn’t leave them a 1-star review because of it — especially if I picked the fruit out myself!Second, this is a family-owned business and quite frankly is a Florida staple. I have memories from as long as 25 years ago of traveling along the turnpike and stopping at a Jennings Citrus location for some fruit before continuing on our way. We never had the issues some folks here have had.Honestly, seeing how many reviews are from folks up north, I have to assume they may be snowbirds — and let me tell you, having worked in Lake and Marion county for the past 16 years, no one on God’s green Earth likes to complain as much as snowbirds do.And lastly, concerning the bags with “California fruit” on the label, that’s bound to happen! They’re a packing house and distribution center, not an orange grove. None of the locations I’ve stopped at had orange trees tucked away out back as far as I could tell. I know from my years of visits and talking with the fine people who work at Jennings Citrus that they primarily work locally to procure fruit, but sometimes harvests aren’t great. Sometimes California has a surplus and it’s more cost-effective to distribute fruit from there. That’s okay! It has never even occurred to me to review bomb a local business for doing their best to give families a friendly place to stop for good produce.”
“Love their brands, cheaper than the national brand and as good if not in some cases better. Love the new Clancy's nacho chips. Also love the awesome hamburger seasoning. Wish they would go back to carrying more gluten-free pasta items. It's been a little hard to find gluten-free spaghetti which they used to carry. Love their gluten-free, mac and cheese. And of course I always love going down the stuff aisle. You never know what you'll find”
