I bought a pair shoe there and paid by credit card. The manager at counter never told me this was the final sale. On 2nd day I tried to return the shoes, The store manager won't allow me to return or exchange. Then, I have to write a complain letter to my credit card company to get my money back. Make sure to use your credit card there in case some issues you can get your money back.

Nice store but its in a senior community. My husband bought me a Christmas gift there total for top with tax $130. She explained it had to be returned within 15 days but he didn't understand no returns just exchanges. HE'S A SENIOR WITH BAD HEARING. Not only that, he has never shopped at a store where I could not return an item. That's a lot of money for a no return policy. I won't recommend this place especially for gift giving. The only reason for two stars is clothes are good quality otherwise one star.

What a refreshing surprise. Honest-to-goodness customer service. I was looking for a gift for my lady friend and the help here showed me several outfits that just made good sense. I didn't buy every recommendation but did buy two outfits. And they wrapped it very nicely. And I'll be back. Great location across from the main square. We can spend our money anywhere, but customer service seems to be a thing of yester-year...except here at Changes boutique in The Villages, it's plentiful and courteous. Much appreciated. Thanks again.

Very expensive and all sales final signs are everywhere. They no longer carry Pretty Woman. I bought a pair of palazzo pants $107.00. No matching tops though. Stopped a few stores away to find a top and the same pants were $79 - regular price. Huge markup. Can't return the overpriced pants now. I will be shopping elsewhere.

This shop has the most beautiful dresses, I bought one, by Pretty Woman this past Monday it fits perfectly and I keep getting great comments from everybody that sees me wearing it. The ladies that work at the shop they’re excellent and they were there ready to help me. I can’t wait to go back and shop some more. Highly recommend.

My friend & I spent 4-nights at the Villages in Sept. 2020. We are both active singles.I have several comments to make; none are positive. As a chief real estate appraiser - In my opinion, the quality of construction is lousy, poor quality - and we know land costs in the Villages area are low. We were sent a brochure with homes in the $220K range. Well, none of those homes will be located close to the town centers. The interior buildout was sub-par, cheap (unless you spend a lot!!) & these homes were small, less than 1,200-sf. New homes - that were somewhat appealing were priced $450k to $650k - and still needed a lot of work.Pre-owned homes located near a town center were also priced $450k to $650k. For this amount of money, I would rather go to Naples, Fl, far superior to the Villages.Another issue is the developer puts minimal landscaping, and closets are unfinished. Closets have one cheap wire rack. Sorry, this builder could have put in wood finishes in the closets. Furthermore, there is minimal closet space and no pantry. All roofs are shingle, unless you go to the very expensive areas. No barrel tile roofs....All pools close at dusk. Where I live now in Miami, the pools are open at night until 11pm. Furthermore, there are no indoor pools in the Villages - sorry, for the amenity fee, there should be more swimming pool service. Lake Sumter landing is where everyone wants to be, and has a Savannah theme. They built Brownwood about 10-years ago; and it remains largely unsold and retail does not seem to be overly occupied. I was told the new golf cart overpass would change the emptiness of Brownwood. Well, maybe if they lowered the housing prices in Brownwood. The house we stayed in, in Brownwood, had an asking price of over $400,000 - again - for this kind of money, with these land costs, I would superior construction, I would expect barrel tile roof - and a not shingle roof, in addition to landscaping, etc.Brownwood has a dark Western theme, that really belongs in Colorado, not Florida. It's ugly. They should have made it a Bahamian them or Savannah, like Lake Sumter. In conclusion, definitely overpriced for what you get and poor quality.

Me and my mother discovered this gem of a shop a while back when visiting some friends in the area. The staff were friendly and courteous. Love the clothes. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

can't say enough BAD stuff about this RACIST stronghold---hotbed of WHITE TRASH masquerading as christians and law abiding 'good people'---guess it's that good old 'southern hospitality' we have heard so much about......

So thankful that we are moving our grandmother out of this place next week. Constant scammers are knocking on the door trying to take advantage of people, and then the lack of diversity is sad. To put the cherry on top, the overt racism and Dumpy Trumpy supporters screaming White Power are disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs.

Thought this place was ok until I found that there work force (other than gate check people) is way to young. There professional work force is under 40. They don't hire anybody over 55 for professional jobs. I was already to buy when I heard this and then did my homework. Now I won't buy, will purchase right outside and use thier town squares. Think before you purchase here.

The Villages is designed to appeal to those retirees who would like to live as if they were high school seniors or college freshmen, in very close, noisy quarters, playing all day and partying all night. Your own grandchildren may visit you (subject to various limitations), but you will generally only see people under 55 in The Villages if they're landscapers, pesticide applicators, or other "service providers". The design of The Villages is focused on nonstop entertainment and gratification. There are many golf courses and free nightly concerts. This is The Villages' primary selling point, and if you want your retirement to be like an adult summer camp that never ends, you're their target demographic. Even if you are into this sort of thing, be aware that it comes at a price. Homes in The Villages are typically sited on tiny lots -- generally .1 - .15 acre -- and priced at a 50% premium over larger, nicer homes on .5 - 1 acre lots just outside The Villages. You will also be assessed a monthly amenity (HOA) fee of around $150, in addition to property taxes, which were just raised by 25% in Sumter county (in which most of The Villages is located). Inside your tiny Villages home, on your tiny Villages lot, you will enjoy about the same level of quiet and privacy as the average apartment dweller. Neighboring homes are generally less than 10 feet apart, and most have only single pane windows, so you will be intensely aware of every sound your neighbors make, at any hour of the day or night. Expect to be able to make out the individual words of neighbors' conversations taking place just on the other side of your bedroom wall. Your neighbors will be able to hear your conversations as well. Many Villages residents enjoy playing loud music outside, well into the night. Sumter county regulates outdoor noise only for 6-8 hours in the middle of the night; even then it must only be kept at a "reasonable" volume. Ideally, you and your neighbors will enjoy the same music, on the same schedule. If your landscaping goal is a heavily fertilized and pesticide-sprayed lawn, and not much else, The Villages is the place for you. If you deviate from this plan, expect neighbors to report your trespass to Community Standards, which can impose various penalties up to and including their sending landscapers of their choice to reconfigure your yard, and then sending you the bill. Over the course of an average day in The Villages, you will be disrupted multiple times by the sounds of landscapers working on adjacent properties. Because Villages lots are so small, each Villages house is within earshot of the power tools (mower, trimmer, and especially leaf blower) used by landscapers working on the nearest fifty properties. Landscapers prefer to work early in the morning, when it's relatively cool outside, and no day is quiet, not even Sunday. In The Villages, pesticides are used abundantly and with great enthusiasm. Expect that nearly 100% of the households in your particular "village" will have their yard sprayed with herbicide at least quarterly (often monthly), and the walls, doors, and windows of their houses sprayed with insecticide on a similar schedule. Since Villages lots are so small, your property will frequently receive pesticide drift from neighboring properties. I advise never leaving your windows open when out of the house, in the shower, or otherwise unaware of what is going on around your home. Coming back to a bedroom coated in pesticide spray or leaf blower dust by a neighboring pest control or landscaping crew is no fun at all. I strongly suggest parking at one of the recreation centers and taking the time to walk through any neighborhoods that you're considering. Note the "Pesticide Application -- Keep off the Grass" signs that you frequently see at the edges of yards. Those signs only designate properties that were sprayed with pesticide within the past day or two; more than 99% of Villages properties, including all "common area

We have made several visits here. A friend owns a house here. It is an impressive community. The dining and entertainment options are incredible, with things to do every night. The area is all nicely landscaped, and the commercial areas are extremely well done.
