After years of not trusting Dr.Merritt and her practice I only went there because my father-in-law was friendly with Dr. Merritt. An acquaintance dog was burned severely on the operating table. My experience with my dog, I was miss quoted, largely on teeth extractions. My latest experience was a true nightmare for my wife and I and my belove schnauzer. they kept us waiting, almost an hour in the waiting room to put our dog to sleep. My dogs anxiety was over the top. Nobody seemed to care , we purposely had the last appointment of the day so we could get my dog in comfortably so he wasn't a nervous wreck, this office failed us immensely !!

They took care of our little Chanel (Iggy). Hands down they will always be our primary Vets moving forward! Thank you Doc for helping under and hopefully eliminating her seizures!

This little office is just wonderful! We switched here about a year ago from another nearby office in Leesburg due to never being able to be seen in a timely manner and simply because their prices were mind-boggling. Dr. Merritt and her staff at Animal Clinic of Lady Lake are gems! They are always kind, willing to listen, find a way to get your pet seen if needed, and their prices are reasonable! My dog loves the staff and has a myriad of issues; however, she always is calm in their presence and they’re all so loving towards animals.

Dr. Tina and Dr. Smith are great have done business with Dr. Tina for over 30 years. She loves all my animals and they love the whole staff nobody is afraid to go see these great Dr's and the staff.....

Everyone is so nice , not just to Bella Marie but to me as well. I could not be more happy with the treatment that we recieved. The young girl that did vitals and trimmed Bellas nails was very sweet. Vet was great. Highly reccomend. Not just a dog, Bella is my baby girl and she deserves the best.

I’ve been taking my dogs there for two years for annual check ups, vaccinations and allergy shots. I’ve had nothing but good experiences there. Don’t judge the building by its exterior looks! Just know that you’ll get great, friendly care at reasonable prices!

Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Tina Merritt is great. Takes the time to teach me about caring for my Pup's oral health. I recommend this Vet.

I had a sick chicken, knowing this they told me they were booking out to June. (it's ApriI ) told her she'd be dead by then she says, " I'm sorry". this was an emergency!! I called 6 vets, they were the only one that took chickens. I thought vets were supposed to help animals. At the very least they could have seen her to put her down so she wouldn't suffer.

Slow in service and not inexpensive. However, in an emergency, shouldn't be an issue. Would go only in a life or death situation.

I went to see Dr Tina Merrit on a semi emergency visit for my 6 pound dog that chewed herself raw to the point of blood all over her lower back area. When Dr Merrit took a look she was able to see that my baby had been biten by a flea or more. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats that all wear the Seresto collar. What I did not know is that it takes 24 hours for it to kill the flea. So she gave Miss Libby a shot of cortisone to calm down the itching and she gave her an oral flea treatment that will work for her. Libby and I were so grateful and i impressed with Dr Merrits quick experienced diagnoses and treatment. Plus the bill was very affordable for what I thought would cost me a fortune. Dr Tina Merrit is so much more reasonable than the folks up the street that I had used in the past for five years. She will now be my new go to vet. A big thank you to her and her wonderful staff!
