I've only been here a few times but the staff have always been nice and they have a pretty good selection. What I like about this place the most is that they always seem to have deals on their dog toys which is convenient because dog toys can get expensive.

Prefer coming here to other pet stores for my fur babies needs. Love the stock and inventory because it's not as overwhelming! But honestly, every time I stop in, the staff is alwaysssssss amazingly helpful! There are so many to name in the years I've been a patron, but Skyler knows exactly what he is talking about!! I came in frantic because my pretty kitty was having potty issues and he was so resourceful with product and knowledge on cats and their behaviors. He even helped bring out my purchase to the car after we first met! It's always a pleasure to spend money here (lol) because I know I am reaping benefits and love for me and my fur family at home.

I've been shopping with pet supermarket for some time, a new manager by the name of Skyler created the worst customer experience I've endured. He was incredibly rude to other customers including myself. As well as his knowledge on product was not very helpful. During my time of check out a customer in front of me asked for corporates number so I decided to do the same. I've also decided to write this review. I asked for a recommendation on food since my dog has a sensitive stomach and needed a food WITHOUT chicken. EVERYTHING he recommended had CHICKEN. I told him "thank you for the help but I'm going to look around myself". He seamed incredibly angry and threw back the food he was showing me and walked off. I didn't want to ask for help again because of that. A wonderful girl by the name of Jocelyn came to me asking if I needed assistance. I wasn't going to have her help but I did, and I'm so grateful that she helped! She showed me three different options and told me her experiences with each food personally while explaining VERY ingredient! She was incredibly helpful and we decided on a food together and my dog is eating again and doing a lot better and more active! I can't wait to meet with her again and tell her how my puppy is doing! Definitely going back on the days she's there! I have a few people I've recommended to go and see her specifically!

Skylar needs a raise! He was amazing helping me out and explained everything so thoroughly to me. He had extensive knowledge of the specific needs for my dog's breed and showed me the exact products that my dog would benefit from and he explained why. Never going to petco again after this amazing experience. You can tell he has passion for his job and really cares to help people.

Large pet store not that different from any other big box pet store. Each of these seems to only carry certain dog food brands. Unfortunately not the one that I feed my dog. However they have plenty of pet supplies for dogs, cats and fish. A decent amount of pet toys but not quite what I was looking for. I did find at least something. And they had a reduced price bargain bin which made me feel like I was getting a good deal. Staff were friendly at the cash register. Not especially helpful or outgoing like I've seen at other places. Not a complaint but it made my visit feel like they were mostly unhappy to be there.

I shopped at the one on 192 a week ago and also today. During both visits the different sets of staff on board were very attentive and seemed genuinely interested. I generally shop at the two other competitors because they are closer to home, but lately I can't find enough live wax worms. PET SUPERMARKET TO THE RESCUE. So I decided to get all my usual P----o stuff, as well. Thanks, guys, for two helpful visits on very hot, miserable days.

Never adopt pets from this place! I adopted a cat and the cat ended up having a severe upper respiratory infection at the store. They noticed it and chose to ignore it at the store, that nearly took his life. the manager told me too bad we are not responsible for cats that come in sick! I paid $30.00 they said no refunds that the cats all come from the Polk county animal rescue and that they are not responsible for him and that I should take him to the shelter for medication. Are you serious!!! I drove almost 2 hours to get there who's going to pay for my gas??? Come to find out after further investigation all of the cats at the Polk county animal shelter were all sick. Never will I ever adopt any animal from pet supermarket! That store also hires irresponsible rude people that tell you it's not their problem. They also had the cat as Female when it was really a male cat! He was named Chloe. We ended up changing his name to Carmine. Poor cat never got better! Someone has to be responsible at that store!

I am honestly so appalled and horrified. The first thing I noticed was all these different kinds of hamsters being housed together and it is completely overcrowded. Hamsters are nocturnal animals and they should be able to burrow. There was not enough bedding or enough houses for these hamsters as you can see there around about 10 under that one house. This is literal animal abuse. One of the associates asked me if I wanted to hold one and when I handed it back to her she tossed him back in there and it honestly didn't surprise me. I watched another guy try to get one of the birds for someone and those birds were definitely traumatized from what he was doing. If you love your pets and care about animal, stop shopping here. They are not animal people!!!

Vet still wasnt there after 15 mins past start time. At least 25 dogs in line outside in 90 degrees. I left.

They really took care of my dog Chip. I couldn't go, but my husband took him in that weekend. Chip is a bit high- strung they kept h safe, and under control. I would definitely refer you to them. Thank you so much for the care of our baby Chip.God bless yall ??
