Where do I start!! I gave this store a 5 star because of the installation and the owner kip which I have deal with in the past. Other than that it would have been a 2 star. Due to the lack of customer service from the office staff. Too many issues to post. Starting from not taking responsibility for there mistakes on communication with customers. Like billing your credit card without producing an invoice. Not happy! I also ask if Kip is still the owner and the answer was not for long. Other than that Alex is the man!! Great install no issues he did the job on a professional level. Thanks Alex.

When I asked them for a quote for a remote control panel, salt system and heater, I specifically said I wanted something easy to use and maintain by myself. They promised me their system was, so I let them install it. Since then, I discovered out that the internet link and app for the control panel are unreliable not not user friendly at all. And this is a known problem due to the age and design of the technology. Also, the salt system is very hard to maintain, the filter hard to clean, and they never checked the water quality in the pool, which had very high calcium (our tap water doesn't) and needed to be drained and replaced.Now, I am stuck with a system that is not a good fit for my needs, and servicing the salt cell is so hard that I decided I didn't want to deal with it anymore. This Pinch a Penny does provide pool service and cleaning, but, ironically, checking and cleaning the salt cell is not something that their pool cleaners can do. If I wanted them to do that, it would be a separate service call, with a minimum of about $100!My advice: if you want to upgrade your system, make sure that the equipment is modern, user friendly and easier to maintain. And don't believe Pinch a Penny if they tell you that their is, because it's not true.[Update] About a month ago, the system that Pinch-A-Penny installed stopped responding to Hayward's app and website. It was still under warranty, so I contacted Pinch-A-Penny. They informed me that they do no offer any warranty services for this system, and told me to contact another company. This company asked me to contact yet another company, who asked me to verify that my unit had a "full or partial" warranty when it was installed.I called Pinch-A-Penny again, but they had no idea what kind of warranty the system they'd installed had. They then told me that I was lucky they were even willing to help me at all, considering the bad review I'd left here about their company! When I told them I was just being honest, and that Hayward clearly states a recommended range of pool chemistry for their system, which they never verified prior to installation, they said that was "just a matter of opinion!" I wish I could deduct another star from my review, but zero stars is not an option.

Very happy with my pool light service. After the pool light installation we came across some electrical wiring difficulties. Kip, Alex, and Jacob worked as a perfect team and got it done the right way. I was watching through it all.Thank you for what you do.

Emil in Kissimmee on Vine St. is such a sweetheart! Every time I come to this store he welcomes me with a smile, is very knowledgeable, and answers ALL my 100 questions! I don’t go anywhere else for my swimming pool needs! Owners are very nice as will:))

Since this Pinch a Penny is under new ownership and staff. The service is excellent. The have most if not everything you would need maintain your pool. Staff is very knowledgeable and will always give you the professional expertise that is needed

I spoke to Melissa about my pool and she was so knowledgeable and happy to educate me. I am looking to replace my light bulb and she gave me a thorough explanation on what are the things I should consider prior to scheduling the technician!I will definitely use them!

Not worth the money to pay for pool service that does not get done properly. Had to beg the pool cleaner for 5 minutes to brush and vacuum when it should be getting done already.. They just wanted to use a net and leave. They have no salt for my pool. The pool cleaner called her boss making it sound like I am the problem. Ridiculous. Lack of effort is the problem. Why pay for things that are not getting done without begging. Getting another pool cleaning service.

Horrific experience. First, they charge some kind of "fuel" surcharge that never went away even after gas prices went down. Second, the weekly enhanced cleaning that I pay extra for which is supposed to include the pool being brushed and washed is severely lacking. Don't think they've ever done anything more than change change the chemicals and clean the filter. But worst of all, woke up this morning to a green pool!! Called up the Kissimmee location and they refused to refund me for the month. And no one to come out to service on weekends. Stay away from this scammy company.

Don’t use the Pinch a penny on Vine!! Horrible service, poor management. Employees don’t show up but swear to their employer they were here. I have cameras that record everything and everyone that comes in and out of the pool area. Management chooses to believe their employee over the customer so I end up taking care of the chlorine myself.

We usually by our supplies and have never had any problems until we called for a service call for our filter housing unit that needed to be reconnected we were quoted one price but when I looked at my card statement it was double we never received a invoice and when I called to get a better understanding the owner Kip was sarcastic and very rude
