The Family Dollar in Kissimmee is a convenient neighborhood store offering a wide variety of affordable everyday essentials, groceries, cleaning supplies, and seasonal items. Customers shop there often, finding it the closest store with the things they might need or want. The store is usually clean and the employees are typically described as nice, pleasant, welcoming, helpful, and courteous. Many customers recommend this location. However, some challenges are noted. The aisle openings are narrow, which can be difficult for wheelchair users who sometimes cannot get through due to stand-alone displays. The shopping carts outside often have very damaged wheels, making them hard to use. While the store promotes savings, some prices are seen as iffy, being the same or even more than bigger stores. Additionally, while staff is usually friendly, they can sometimes get short with customers near closing time.
