Dollar General on Simpson Rd Kissimmee. Many many times you go in this store and the cashiers are MIA, missing in action. Today was the worst experience. After waiting for 15 minutes for some assistance, one male cashier came to help a couple at the front cashier,.I told him I needed help to get an item that was too high on the shelf. Didn't even acknowledge my request. A second male cashier came and finished helping the couple. I told him I needed help in the isle. Didn't acknowledge my request either, he finished with the couple and disappeared. I went to first male cashier,he was stocking food in the fridge and told me he had to finished the food first and I have to wait. I waited a good half hour to 40 minutes already. WE WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN. Customer service at its worst!!!

I went in to purchase products with digital coupons. The cashier was rushing me to pay because there was one customer behind me and would allow me to confirm if all my coupons applied. When I checked my receipt I noticed that $10 of coupons didn’t apply. When I informed her about she let me know she couldn’t redo my transaction or do anything because the area manager blocked all their access from refunds or exchanges. They said they didn’t know when she would be back. How does the area manager expect that to work or make sense? Creating bottle necks in solution management for the store teams?! They said something about stealing refunds or whatever in another store and that’s why this has been put in place. If that’s an issue then the hiring manager needs training on recruiting, interviews, training, coaching, and being involved to avoid situations like that.

I went to do a return and Laura (the store manager) along side Vivian told me I couldn’t do the return because it was over 30 days old. The items were still new, and she claimed she couldn’t even give me store credit because the policy had changed due to a lot of store theft. She also told me to go back to the store I bought them from and “try” to return it there. I ended up calling corporate just to verify what she said. They confirmed that the store policy is 90 days return with receipt and if you don’t have a one they issue out a store credit. The store policy has not changed. So pretty much she lied and when I had corporate on the phone in store she got upset and had an attitude. They ended up giving me my money back but you can tell Laura was very upset, she told me that I came to threaten their job but really I just wanted them to follow the store policy instead of telling me to drive another 35 mins to another store being that I already live far from both. Laura needs to be “taught” the store policy as well as customer service skills and Vivian needs to know that she should do what corporate says and management isn’t always right. I condemn both for the way they handled this situation, all the trouble for a $17 return. Just do the right thing next time.

Sunday June 11th @11:57amThe cashier was really rude when I asked for help with the self-checkout. There was this other person who scanned something and wouldn't let me continue. It annoyed me so much that I decided not to buy anything at all.

If I could give it O stars I would. It's incredible how a store can decline like this since its manager Delaila left, this store is the biggest disaster. Closed during hours when it is supposed to be open without merchandise, expired merchandise, damaged, dirty. Without attention at the checkout, I have been a customer here for 8 years and this situation is very frustrating.

This location used to be great but for the past few months their inventory has been a mess. A lot of items are always out of stock. Ordering via DoorDash is a nightmare because you pick out your items AND multiple substitutes but the store doesn’t have any of the items. I’m about to give up on this store and shop elsewhere.

Went to the store at 9:50pm and store was closed. I use work at a dollar general and closing is at 10pm. And this dollar general hours are from 8a’m-10pm. This guy had no care and just wants to leave early. Ill never be back. Whats the point of store hours if you dont follow them

The only reason I gave this location 4 stars was because of who assisted me today…Jennifer! Sadly she mentioned she was only helping out this location and today was her last day there. She was BEYOND helpful in comparison to the supervisor (did not catch her name) who’s tone was unwelcoming and even annoyed. I was using the DG app for coupons for the first time and we ran into a hiccup which added up to about $7 worth of discounts on the items I was buying.The supervisor seemed bothered by my questioning of how to fix the issue, where’s as Jennifer took the time to help me sort it out and correctly apply ALL the coupons to my app in order to receive the full discount on my purchase. I also wanted to shout out an older gentleman (did not catch his name either) however, he had glasses, a shaved head, spoke Spanish, and was stocking and organizing the store. He was also very helpful and even recommended items worth purchasing. Overall he was friendly and I appreciated his suggestions, which is why I find it odd with such pleasant staff the supervisor was rude during our encounter.In any case I was grateful and shocked to find this type of customer service with the other staff members at this location. I hope DG recognizes them, because employees like that are hard to find.

The managers are the rudest people on Earth. Quit you job if you don't like it. So rude, always on the phone while working at the register then you ask a question and they snap at you. Never again!!!

This store has not been the same since the original store manager, MONICA, was in charge…that was over FIVE years ago. Last manager was Delilah. While she wasn’t the greatest and lacked common respect for her customers, she had the store in order. The current staff is lazy, inattentiveAnd are all extremely unhappy working there. I’ve been a customer at the store for over nine years and the staff there are incompetent. After experiencing two incidents where I paid for merchandise and did not receive it once home I will not be going to the store again. Word of advice double check your bags before you get in your car and leave.
