10 stars all the way. (Google only lets me select 5). Our newly adopted boy had his first check-up today with Dr. White. It was by far the GREATEST first appointment we have ever had with a veterinarian. She was informative, she actually listened to our questions and concerns and you can't put a price tag on the wealth of information she provided us with regarding training. We were not rushed. Her body language never once showed us we were taking up her time or she was in a hurry. The entire staff was polite, friendly and very kind. What a beautiful discovery we have made here in Keystone Heights. We hope to only be back for annual checkups (God willing), but it is so reassuring to know they are there for us if we need them! Thank you!!!!!

Our dog has a fungal skin infection. The vet did not and actually refused to prescribe an oral antifungal medication for it. Instead we were charged for services that not required, such as flea treatment pills. (Our dog DID NOT have fleas, although the vet presumably told false...that he did. Her refusal to prescribe medication required to treat his fungal skin infection told me alot. She wanted us to return to be charged again, and again and again? WE are not going to be used as a personal money pit. Prescribing medication for itching WILL NEVER TREAT A SKIN FUNGAL INFECTION. Meanwhile the dog has been suffering with the infection rapidly spreading. Any vet...but this one.

Springlake Animal Hospital worled me cat in for an urgent appt., drew labs, did a chest xray and scheduled her for surgery in a few days. It was very important to me to do her surgery ASAP as I was concerned with her mammary tumors growing in size. They explained the surgery, answered all of my questions, and did multiple post op phone calls to check on my cat. They were very loving to my cat, thorough and prompt with appointments. Thank you

If you are looking for an exceptional vet this is the place to be. Tamra B White if the closest you will find to Dr Jeff. on the southeast coast. Her skills are exceptional. She is kind, knowledgeable, and cares about her patients. Her staff is professional, caring and kind. The highest praise I can give is that I trust her to care for my baby over any other vet. Watch out Dr Jeff, Dr Tamra is in the house.

Our 5 month old puppy ingested rat poison. I called Springlake and they were able to get us in immediately. Which I am thankful for. We brought the actual rat poison wrapper with us so there would be no question about what she ate. Long story short when we got home I noticed that the treatment papers didn't match the poison name on the wrapper. I immediately called the vet and had to argue that they misdiagnosed her. The vet got on the phone and proceeded to repeatedly apologize for misdiagnosing my puppy. If my boyfriend and I had not realized the poison name and treatment were wrong , our puppy most likely would have died. The treatment for the 2 types of rat poison are completely different. Again, I am grateful that they were able to fit us in immediately. But we definitely will not be returning.

Had gone here before but because I lived in Starke, I went to local professionals. Big mistake! Took my ill puddy tat to Springlake and they went above & beyond for her. The friendly and laid back professionalism is a breath of fresh air. Do yourself & critters a favor & consider this great clinic.
