My husband and I came to West winds for our first key west trip to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for more. The West Winds grounds are just a hidden gem. If you are looking for modern, new style rooms, this isn’t it. The rooms are older, old AC units but don’t give up there! The rooms are kept COLD if you like. The DAILY turnover service is incredible and the bed is comfortable. The grounds of the inn are just magical and so well taken care of. Two pools, one heated. There is a continental breakfast in the cutest spot, poolside. Nothing fancy but just enough to give you the morning snack and a cup of coffee. Perfect!! On the corner there is a bakery with delicious options and then on the other corner is the bike rentals.
Don’t be turned off by the parking. My husband I were there 6 days and moved the car a few times and NEVER had an issue finding another spot! I could go on forever! This place was perfect and we can’t wait to come back ❤️

Unfortunately we were not able to stay at this hotel because of the stormy weather in Miami. Our flight was cancelled an hour before take off and no other flights were available for three days. I was very upset when the hotel was not able to refund us, not even partially. I was hoping they would understand our situation but that did not happened.

I was a little disappointed in this place. I expected more in our room…bigger and updated. It was more motelish than resort. Not enough room to lay out our bags and the bathroom was very outdated. We couldn’t shut the bathroom door all the way without the chance of having to take a shoulder to the door to push it open. The location is good but no onsite parking…You have to take a chance to find street parking out there parking garage on the next block ($42 a day).
Rooms: Our room (301) was very small and outdated
Nearby activities: Eaton bikes is next door and is a great place to rent bikes. They are very professional and nice.
Safety: Hate to the back area is locked at 7pm with key access to the residents.
Walkability: Very close to the marina and about 10 minute walk to Duval

Mixed up my dates and didn't get to stay there but the staff was most helpful in getting it things straightened out with the booking company. Unfortunately the night I needed was already booked. Thanks again

Beautiful property with two pools, an outdoor breakfast bar, and a staff that goes above and beyond.
Nearby activities: Fishing charters, diving, Island tours, etc
Walkability: Walkable to Duval, Mallory Square and Harbor.

This is a GREAT stay in Key West. We have stayed here 4 times in three years and every time, it is great. Quiet. Clean. Two pools - one heated. This is not a party stay. But a great place to stay after you have fun on Duval street. Walking distance from bars and restaurants. Everyone working there is great!

Best kept secret in Key West. I am a fussy woman and this B&B hit it out of the park. Clean, great location, friendly staff, quiet, fresh sheets and towels every day! Continental breakfast that was yummy. Heated pool. I totally recommend Westwinds for your next stay in Key West!

Beautiful and idyllic hotel in Key West. Would definitely book it again if it takes us to Key West again. The hotel room (small house) is wonderfully furnished and right by the pool. Highly recommended!

Cute cabana-style rooms in very central location in Key West. Variety at breakfast is limited. But the staff is extremely helpful, and they even sorted out a parking ticket situation for us in a generous manner, which we highly appreciated. Thank you! :)

Stayed for 7 days! Rooms were so clean staff was so nice we had to move rooms and the new room was not ready staff gave us our keys so we could move are stuff in our new room. Two pools very clean. We will be back to stay again.

Beautiful little oasis in the middle of Keywest. When you come into the garden from the street, you suddenly find yourself in the middle of paradise.
The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and very pretty. You can find everything you need. Refrigerator, coffee machine, hairdryer. Air conditioning (although a bit loud) and one of the two pools is even heated ?
The breakfast is simple, but enough to fill you up and start the day.
But you have a wonderful breakfast completely outdoors right by the pool.
If you want to explore Key West by bike, Eron Bikes is right next door and even offers a discount if you refer to Westwinds ?
We loved it ❤️
Walkability: Only ten minutes to Duval Street and the harbor (Keywest Express). We didn't even need a taxi
