For a 4 star hotel, I’d expect semi comfortable beds. They REALLY cut costs with the mattresses. My fiancée and I couldn’t sleep at all and now our backs are absolutely killing us. There is also zero insulation in the walls of the rooms. They put everyone in the hotel on the 3rd floor. Any time someone would talk in the hallway, we could hear everything - zero privacy. The maids closet was 2 doors down from our room. They would stand in the hallway and talk and laugh for hours. We figured that out when we tried to take a mid-day nap on day 2 of our vacation. Napping was out of the question. We’ll find somewhere else to stay the next time we’re in town. It’s a beautiful hotel, but not being able to sleep due to garbage mattresses and extremely loud housekeeping defeats the purpose of staying at a hotel.

Really loved the hotel however we do have a few comments and suggestions.-we reserved a room with a view of the pool and boat piers and had to switch since our first room overlooked a service area and side street.-the restaurants part of the complex are unnecessarily expensive, they could use a less upscale place to grab a bite-please have a computer and printer for printing boarding passes and whatnot. We will be back again!Nearby activities: Very easy to grab an Uber to downtown Key West. No need to have a car rental.

My husband and I are just wrapping up our stay at The Perry. Our stay was so lovely, we even extended it a day! The meals were delicious (at Matt’s, Salty’s, and Badboys), the pool is stunning. Easy access to things you want to do and they hooked us up with amazing excursions. Fire pits and walks along the marina at night were dreamy. In the morning I would walk to the coffee shop to get moving. Would absolutely come back, and thank you for such a wonderful week!

O really enjoyed our studio room and being right by the pool. The two on sight restaurants were nice. Ice cream shop just a few yards away along with a coffee shop and many many boats available for charters :)

When we checked in we had a room with a parking lot view and asked for a different room. 2 days later a room was available with a beautiful marina view and we moved. The staff was OUTSTANDING!! Beautiful hotel room view LOVE IT. Thank You Perry Hotel

We can only recommend it. Although there are a lot of planes flying over the building, there are no more planes flying at night. Very nice and courteous staff.

My stay was good. Matt who works at the front desk was extremely patient & kind. He gave me a map and wrote down the time the shuttle comes & goes and answered all of my questions. I love the fact that they have a shuttle that takes you to the Historic Seaport(where everything is) and back. The only things I didn’t like was that my room was facing the road and there were employees down below working and so it got a bit nosey and there was a constant issue with water pressure in the shower. But overall I enjoyed my stay.

The perry was a great stay. Nice staff nice place. But beware after I checked out there was a charge of 230 n change on my card. Called and found out there is a 25 per night parking fee and what's worse is a 49.95 resort fee. Now you'll find out all the bikes scooters and most everything you must rent. I asked what the fee was for n was told for the shuttle. Well I never used it once. I was pretty upset mainly cause the only way I was notified was thru e mail. Maybe. They said they sent it but I never saw it. Anyway I told them they need to notify at desk in writing. Now thankfully the lady I spoke to was very understanding and refunded the 3 night resort fee. The perry is great just need to be more transparent about charges.Rooms: Nice n cleanNearby activities: Great local restaurants close by...

This is a modern, upscale hotel. For the most part we enjoyed our stay. With a room on the 3rd floor we had a good view of the marina. The grounds and hotel are very well maintained. Beautiful pool area and rooms, fun outdoor bar area with live music for part of the night and good bar food. The restaurant and service was excellent but rather pricey. Two negatives during our 2 day stay...Cold, low water pressure, showers in our room. The hotel did make amends for our stay at checkout which was appreciated.Questionable billing practices...We received our final bill at checkout, all good. However, upon checking our credit card statement, there was an additional charge.Calling the hotel front desk, we were advise that was just a credit card hold. Upon notifying the clerk that it went through, he came back and tried to convince us it was for charges not billed at checkout, producing another invoice.Upon close examination, it was pointed to him, that the charges that were allegedly omitted were billed on the final check out invoice and erroneous. He dug his heels in so we've put it in credit card dispute. Not a good way to end our stay...

Overall an extremely lackluster visit. I understand that there are things out of a business' control such as an large influx of tourists impacting the local water supply/pressure. However, there are ways to mitigate this and taking the time to explain to your guests ahead of time is the first step.I went to take a shower on night one and was greeted with limited water pressure and no hot water. Called front desk and was told "this is a known issue.". So we suffered through slow, cold showersDay 2 - spent all day outside of hotel. Left room at 800. Returned at 330pm and the room was not turned over. No fresh towels. Had to walk down the hall until I finally found someone with housekeeping because I couldn't get through to the front desk.Had to trudge through a slowly trickling cold shower and my wife was forced to shave her legs on the balcony due to the messed up water/shower situation. As I re-read this review I realize I sound like a whiny boomer but for the price being paid for those rooms, I expected a much higher quality of service.

I was here a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and some friends and I must say. The Perry Hotel did not disappoint. The view my boyfriend and I had from our room was to die for. We spent most of our day, and night as well, outside due to how amazing the weather was. The front desk staff were amazing and super friendly. To the point where they gave the 4 of us complementary champagne bottles. This is the first hotel that does that. The only iffy thing about the hotel was the shower. It worked fine the first night, then not so great the other nights. But overall, amazing place. Will come here again in the near future.Rooms: SpaciousNearby activities: Historic part of Key WestSafety: Felt welcoming

Hotel is great! Staff is great! Location is great! My only complaint would be that the bar will shut down 20 minutes before their listed “closing time”. The bar staff is more concerned with their departure time than guests accommodations.Very nice hotel. Accommodating guests could be improved at the bar/restaurant.Staff is great. Bar tenders appear ready to leave based on my two separate experiences at this hotel.Concierge is one of the best we have ever encountered!!!! Very great resource at the hotel!!!!

Stayed for two nights. The bed was comfy and rooms are nice but could use some minor cosmetic improvements (peeling paint in shower and deck) The gym is nice with modern equipment. The shuttle to Key West was also convenient with drivers knowledgeable about the area. Review the website for the additional hotel perks, we were offered “champagne “ at check in but would have opted for the free dessert at dinner instead had we known ahead of time! The $25 a night parking fee wasn’t listed in the third party app we booked through. Shuttle made up for it!Walls are thin. Housekeeping for the surrounding rooms was loud and woke us up on more than one occasion. Shower was inconsistent. Would lose and gain water pressure.
