This was our first time at the Marker and we loved it. Staff were wonderful! Everyone very friendly and attentive. They cleaned our room everyday without having to ask. The pool and bar was great The location was perfect. We will definitely be back.
Rooms: Our room was very open and large. The bathroom was updated with a bath and a shower.
Nearby activities: Right next to the harbor lots of restaurants lots of bars lots of shopping
Walkability: The entrance has stairs and an elevator.

Love it!! Clean. Comfortable. Nice pools. Nice beach front bar in the alley right behind the hotel. Close to the boardwalk. Loved the use of the sister restaurant, The Southern Most point! It had access to the beach and The Pineapple Pool! Rachel was a great concierge. We rented a jeep, golf cart and she arranged a ride to the airport.

Caution when booking a room! Call the Hotel directly and verify that you are in contact with The Marker Key West! The people at The Marker are great. Third party booking sites are not reliable or trustworthy. We had a terrible and expensive booking experience.

Second time staying at this hotel I should have known better. The rooms are not very clean and yes, the walls are paper thin be sure and read all the other reviews. The service was terrible and if they remember to clean your room it’s around 5pm. Pool is not heated and overall not very customer service oriented. We come to Key West 3 times a year. There are better options available.

This was a nice place with plenty of amenities. Huge bathroom and had a balcony overlooking the pool so we had a great room. I felt the room was a little outdated (maybe a little dirty, but may just because it’s outdated). The front desk was friendly and helpful and the concierge was convenient for renting bikes. Loved how close we were to everything and loved that there was a bar area next to the pool. There was also singing at the pool so that was cool. I would recommend this hotel.

So, we only visited Key West for the first time 18 months ago. We've since been 4 times, and stayed all 4 times at The Marker. All previous times were good, but this time, not so much. We made the mistake (and please don't complain, I get it, it was technically our fault), we were still in the room 20 minutes past checkout at 11am. The issue i have is, the housekeeping person called, and started screaming at my husband that "WE WILL CHARGE YOU! YOU'RE NOT OUT!" So, okay, how many of us has been a little late getting out of the room? But seriously? You get to scream at us (a customer)? I actually heard her voice through the phone attached to my husband's ear while I was across the room. And my husband said, "ok, so you don't need to yell at me. I cant even understand what you're saying, you'reyelling so loud." We called the front desk and asked, "so, I guess we are a little late checking out, and now we have to pay a late fee. Does that mean we can stay an hour or two? And they said "nope. You have 5 minutes." (We were already packed and ready to leave.) So, we will NEVER stay here again. You wanna treat repeat/loyal customers THAT poorly? BTW, the last visit we booked 2 rooms, so my 95 yr old mom could have her own room.
I'm just SHOCKED at how we were treated on our 4th stay. We are no longer loyal to this place. (We also met some people while we were down this last time, and let them see our room, trying to convince them to stay there next time.) NEVER AGAIN.

First time at Key West and staying at The Marker. This place is amazing. The staff in the office, at the pool and cleaning is absolutely a 10. Everyone here is so nice and goes over and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. The food is delicious, fresh and hot when served. Bar staff is so friendly and makes delicious cocktails. A staff member brings games for the guest to play while in the pool. Was a great time. Our room has been cleaned every day along with clean bed linens. We scheduled four more nights of staying, with that being said, this place is amazing and the next time we come back we will definitely be staying here again. No more looking for a place to stay. Oh yeah, and we rented a golf cart from The Marker. Love this place. Thank you THE MARKER for an amazing time. Mike and Angela.
