Went out with Justin and Aaron today ! Caught 2 massive barracuda right when we started with in 20 min , had a blast great crew and super clean boat ! Highly recommend

These guys were great .6 hour trip with lots of memories.normally fish Great Lakes now fishing in the lakes is useless after spending a day out on the ocean.will definatly use these guys again .worth every penny

I have been on a fair share of fishing charters but these guys are different! They work hard and literally tried everything to put us on fish and that they did. The bite started slow, but changing locations and changing bait did the trick and I caught a big ole bull! I’m all set with charters in the keys, I will proudly give these guys my money over and over again. Let’s keep making memories

Boat was ready when we got there - non-stop trolling for fish - constantly working to get us some tight lines - changing up bait and lures to find what was working that day - we caught a lot of little Mahi, barracuda, some nice keeper Mahi and a monster bull head Mahi! Would definitely recommend and will use them again.

I would like to thank captain Mike and Justin for a very memorable ball trip with my family I'm brother in my nephew's and his wife. Captain Mike and Justin are probably the best charter I've been out on a very knowledgeable and where and when the fish are hidden and what to do when they're not until they are.. And Justin worked his a** off for us I can't thank them enough that's enough I will be back and you will see my face. Thanks again for a great time period

Terrible communication. Failed to clearly describe fishing options and we were only left with one once we were out because the other required live bait. Any charter I've been on previously stopped for live bait by default. Crew was abrasive the entire time. We felt like we were in the way. We even tried to lighten the mood, joke around and have fun amongst ourselves which was not well received. Smelled like raw diesel and exhaust all day. Caught a few fish but nothing serious. Most expensive and worst charter I have taken. Don't make the same mistake.

Thank you captain Mike and Justin Justin for a wonderful time with my family. To watch my nephews catch fish repeatedly was more very reward than you know. I would recommend this crew to anyone Looking for a charter to catch fish. Captain Michael's ring all is well on where and when the fish are gonna be hitting and Justin ortiz and Justin worked his a** off to make sure we caught fish. I will be back you can count on that. Thanks again for a very wonderful time.

While she's a fine boat, and a great crew the black diesel fumes rolling over the fishing deck from the ill maintained engines left us headed in early for one of our group getting sick. I was told the trip previous to ours suffered the same fate. We've been on offshore trips before, in similar seas with no issues, get her fixed Capt., we'll be back then. This time though, very disappointed. Our trip was 8/26/2021

Took my wife and one of my best friends (he paid to) on a trip fishing. Who was recommended by a friend of mine at Don’s liquor and bar. (Dylan) at first we were not catching fish and it was ruff as hell . The captain and mate didn’t give up. They found fish we caught 15 mahi-mahi. And believe me they didn’t give up . We are happy campers . Would highly recommend. Thanks Captain and first mate job well done.

I've been Sportfishing for over 30 years, and these guys are the best! The father and son combo of Captain & Mate just works as they have so much mutual respect for each others' talents! No more Captain yelling at Mate or Mate bad rapping Captain under his breath so to speak... talk about awkward! I've seen it too many times! I first went fishing with them about 5 years ago after spending every day for a week fishing on the wrong boat... I went to Key West for just over a week & when I found Captain Mike & Justin, stayed for near 6 weeks just to fish! I'm a female & fishing is my passion & prefer a private charter & these guys are respectful, courteous, and professional! Did I mention they know how to find the fish & their tackle is unsurpassed by any other? The boat is spacious, comfortable & equipped with AC... thank you Captain! While I no longer have the luxury of 6 weeks to fish, I've continued to go through the years & just returned from a 4 days of glory on the ocean with them... never a disappointment! I have brought friends to experience fishing with them from time to time. They too won't fish with anyone else in Key West moving forward. Now, wherever in the world I fish, I will hold those charters to the standard of quality this team provides...

We found these guys the day we came into key west (the frenchie helped draw me in). We were able to book that week. Justin told us right off the back mahi had been running small and all throw backs but we didn't care, we just wanted to go out. Right off the back, we caught a nice bill fish, they put us right on the mahi and we were reeling in 3-4 at a time. And they were all keepers!!! We also caught 2 nice sail fish. We had an fantastic time as it was our first time fishing for the big stuff. They made this trip memorable for us. Then it hit me we were flying out the next day and didn't know how we would get the filletts home. We took some to schooners for dinner. Hope the hope Mike and Justin had a good dinner that night too!!! Will definitely book with them again when we come back!!!

I fished with Helm twice while in Key West. Both trips were awesome and Captain Mike and Mate Justin worked hard the whole time to put us on fish. A couple of things about these guys stand out. When I was talking to captains of inshore boats, they pointed me to Helm as the best bet for a big game trip. The inshore guys told me they had learned a lot from the guys at Helm. When I approached Helm for a charter and told them I was in Key West for two months, they scheduled me for the best weather and water temperatures for my target fish. The first trip with my wife and sister-in-law produced sailfish, mahi mahi, and bonita. The second trip was me solo and we kite fished and trolled to boat four sailfish, three tuna, and several bonita. With every fish, it was hard to tell who was happier, the crew or the fisherman. I have deep sea fished in five different countries and would put these guys up against any other boat I’ve been on.
