The room was excellent, happy hour just what we needed after the trip. The location is wonderful, but parking in Key West is horrible. We found parking for $15 4 blocks away and were happy about it since cabana inn have limited parking space and much more expensive. Inn was great at the end.

Great location and okay room, but it's too expensive for what you get.

This place was everything the website said it would be and more. So clean, so comfortable and I made a new best friend... Patrick. He was so helpful, taking time to show us the maps so we would know exactly where everything was and recommending places that were beyond amazing. I had to fight back tears when we left. It's my happy place. Many thanks to all the staff, especially our new best friend, Patrick =)
Rooms: Spacious and clean
Nearby activities: Duval Street is one block over.
That's where you can find any type of restaurant or shop that you want, with a Walgreens just around the corner
Safety: Very safe and secure location.
You have to have a key to get into the grounds after ten
Walkability: This place is right in the middle of everything
You can walk or bike anywhere that you want to go
Food & drinks: Breakfast was awesome. I don't normally get up early enough to eat breakfast, but this one was worth getting up early for. They had Starbucks Coffee, fresh boiled eggs, blueberry and banana nut muffins, bagels, toast, cereals, fruit, juice, yogurt and the most amazing waffle I have ever had =)
Noteworthy details: The staff was everything =)
especially Patrick

Do yourself a huge favor and don't stay with this chain SMS lodging. Bed was squeaky and old. Room had a musty mold smell. They advertise large rooms but you will get a very small room. Booking says 450 sq ft the room we got was under 200 sq ft. The manager says all Cabana King rooms are the same size. Go someplace where you will be happy for a few nights instead of coming here.

Best little hidden gem. The location was perfect. We were able to walk all of Duval street with no issues. The room was very comfortable and we barely heard the roosters ?!
Walkability: Duval Street is less than a 2 minute walk

Very good hotel in a very good location with breakfast (basic) and free happy hour. Very clean swimming pool and jacuzzi.
Please note, no free parking (minimum $30)

The pictures you see in the website are not what you will find. Very run down, linen is far from white, towels have been washed too many times, furniture is bad quality and very beat down. Mattresses and pillows horrible. For the price paid, close to 800 / night definitely very disappointing.
The location is great, it could certainly be a very quaint place but it is excessively run down, beat up and abandoned. See my photos, better than a 1000 words

I only rated it an overall 4 star because I want to get back in there again. Seriously though a few steps off Duval at the Walgreens /Strand theatre and you are there. Smack dab in the middle of it. Patrick was terrific, He shared with us what the locals know. Visiting these places made our trip really relaxing and we kinda felt like cool insiders. One of the unique little things was the leave a book take a book table. Great idea. The free happy hour wine & cheese was very nice. More like an Inn than a Hotel. We enjoyed it.

The place is very well located right off of Duval but still quiet. It’s charming but the rooms are very run down and the actual room vs what we saw on bookings is very deceiving. They did not clean our room since they said they only do room service every other day.
Staff is not friendly nor accommodating. Sunday 10am a guy was sanding a fence right in the middle of the social area. When asked if he could start a bit later the staff was annoyed and didn’t do anything about it.

Do not stay here. Stayed at a “suite” for 2 nights, at $800 per night. The furniture and appliances are OLD and CHEAP. The mattress was also old, almost lumpy. Cleanliness was less than ideal at check in.
The service is NON EXISTENT. We found our room undone when returning after being out all day. I was told that housekeeping service is not provided daily!!!! ($800 a night).
They have 1 employee in total on duty, who does not even fake trying to be helpful, let alone friendly.

We were met by Patrick as we came back n. He helped 3 ladies up the stairs with our language-soooo nice. Location is great for Duvall Street, Hemingway House, Lighthouse. Mallory Square, Mel Fisher Museum and Southern most Point are in the same area and you can walk but may get sweaty.
