“Kino sandals, located in Kino Plaza on Green St, a block off of Duval, is a mainstay in old town Key West and my lifelong favorite maker of flip flops. The men's lilly are unbeatable. Handmade for decades, and still less than $30 per pair, Kinos are the ultimate sandal. The company specializes in many handmade leather products but their traditional flipflop is in 2024 still unbeatable. I can only speak for myself because I can walk in them all day, day after day, and even hike on moderate level trails in my Kinos with zero issues. Some may need greater arch support or have other issues that require more specialized footwear but Kinos have been my lifelong go-to during every summer since the 1980's. These sandals last for years without problem - one of my favorite things about them. For men the styles and colors are much more limited unfortunately though the blues, black, browns, and occasional specialty colors are more than enough to keep my options fully loaded whenever it's warm enough to leave my sneakers behind and don any of my favorite summer footwear. To me, everyone body else is second to Kinos. Kinos are high quality, attractive, colorful, and fantastic value.”

“Cool spot with something for everyone unless your looking for some woke stuff. Owner has a pretty cool story on why he is here. This store stands with truckers!!!”

“This is the first location as you're approaching Key West! Nice big store that looks a little rough on the outside but worthy of a visit to complete your souvenir list! So much variety! There are tons of name brand and just normal printed t-shirts! This store is stocked beyond belief with every size, design, and color! If you can't find your gifts here and complete your list, there's something wrong! It's not the cleanest store or the friendliest employees! Give it a shot and enjoy it. You won't be disappointed!”

“The only reason for missing the other star is because of the sign that says get 4 shirts for $10, which isn't actual what it means, and is a tourist trap to get you to go in. However, I still recommend going in because they had about almost anything you would need for your trip down here and to take some gifts home. They did have a great selection of sizes ranging from small-large. Anything bigger in the plus size area was definitely harder to find and very limited.”

“We stopped in rather late in the day. I've been wanting a pair of Birkenstocks as I've heard they have great arch support and my podiatrist told me to use orthotics years ago, but sometimes I want something to slide on! Leon & his coworker were. Great help! They have knowledge of the producers that was invaluable. They helped narrow down the huge collection to the styles that should meet my needs and then I could focus on comfort and style. I intend to wear mine with compression socks but I'm happy there's a policy to sanitize your feet before trying on sandals. I think the staff handles the process smoothly.”
