Solange was very professional and understanding of the situation I was in when booking the place. She made the stay that much more enjoyable. We stayed in room 6. The bathroom
was designed a bit oddly as there was some sort of bath waterspout that you couldn't even use, and your feet would hit it when showering. The overhead shower seemed to be on the wrong wall in the shower. It was very uncomfortable to take a shower. The stairs going down to the hot tub area could've used a better hand railing. Everything was very clean. My only real request would be to add a small table with 2 chairs to each room to make it complete. Breakfast could have used a protein like sausage or bacon. Other than blueberry yogurt and boiled eggs, it was all bread, bagels and muffins. Staff should definitely make it very clear that you should drop off your luggage when checking in, so that you don't have to drag it 4-5 blocks down Duval and back to your room. I still give it a 4-star rating, because Solange truly was the most kind and professional person I've experienced in a long time. Give her a raise immediately.

Rooms: Our room was very clean and everything needed for a wonderful weekend.
Nearby activities: Right off Duval street and near so many things to do and places to eat.
Walkability: We were able to walk to lots of great places near by. Hemingway House and lots of great shops and restaurants were all within walking distance.
Food and drinks: Their breakfast was okay but nothing special. I would have liked to see more variety and options. Their mimosas were good

Overall I really liked this place. I have read all the other reviews, and while I can't vouch for some of the complaints, many of them seem to be some unique experience and perhaps they didn't research enough. My room was # 6. It was a second floor unit located out the backside. I can see this room being fine for a couple. I imagine pretty much all the rooms will be typical of a B and B, which means they will tend to be smaller. However my room had several closets which would offer plenty of space. Everything worked, the bed was comfortable, and I had no issues. I will most definitely plan to stay here again in the future.
What I liked:
The room itself was perfect for me. I liked the upper floor location, and the bed was nice, as was the shower. The free breakfast was fine. Nothing fancy but it suited my needs. I don't feel it makes much sense to base your accommodation review on their breakfast. If that's your priority then maybe you need to pony up and go stay at one of the expensive waterfront places. Not to mention there's an awesome breakfast place right around the corner. The small spa was a nice treat. It's not a pool, but for me it was really nice to have. The location was also ideal for me...I liked being 10 seconds from Duval, and I prefer being closer to the southern end. The fridge was just a mini fridge, but plenty big for that style. You could easily keep a bunch of stuff in there if needed. Re service, every interaction I had was perfectly fine, friendly, and prompt. They have rules, as most places do...abide by them. Simple.
What wasn't so hot:
The wifi wasn't that great for me, but then again I didn't really need it. My phone had perfect coverage for my needs. The outside deck was nice and big, but way too hot to use most times. Not their fault...it's Key West in June. I couldn't keep the blinds open because another deck was right next to my room, and the other units around could see right in anyway if they wanted. Again, it's a B and B in Key West, right near Duval. These places are quirky, but in a cool way. And re noise, yeah, it's right off Duval. In Key West. There WILL be occasional noise. It's like going to Las Vegas and saying "OH IT WAS WAY TOO BRIGHT".
That's about it. Like I said, I will return. I almost don't want to leave this review because I'd prefer that the nit-pickers keep others away. That way I stand a better chance of getting a room here when I want.

very nice Bed&Breakfast just around the corner of Hemingway House. Nicely decorated rooms and even a tabby house cat is present to welcome the guests ?
Lively Duval Street is 1 min walk from hotel. ???

Sadly - this place was old and run down and not what is displayed. I had a credit to use a king suite I prepaid under a year ago when a trip was canceled. The credit was for $465.76 (already paid including taxes). I contacted the hotel about a month prior to the new visit (March 23 - 1 night) and they told me the only room left was a queen room (listed as $379.00 on the website for one night. They told me there may be an additional charge. I told them that was not fair but I had to use the credit and would discuss upon arrival. But I had to use the credit or it expired at one year. When I arrived, the room was tiny and the mattress horrid. I talked to the front desk and told them I do not expect them to charge me extra money because of the room charge online (much lower than my credit) and the issues with the room. I did not ask for any refund...just use my credit. They charged my credit card an additional $88.76. I asked to speak to the manager who was not available. We stayed the night. I tried to talk to them in the morning, not available. I emailed them twice, no response and now I have left 2 phone messages with no response. Also, the wifi did not work the entire time we were there. Other guests were complaining. The breakfast was not edible (soggy bread, wet plates, etc.)

Great Bed and Breakast near Duvall but in a quiet location. We stayed 2 nts in Rm 1 and would def stay again. Breakfast is more grab and go and parking is a few blocks but easy access for unloading and packing up. Room was clean and AC ran wonderfully. The Elemis bath products were a nice touch. Would def stay here again

This place has the worst service ever. Basically cancelled our reservation as we were there. Do not recommend having to deal with this

Manager cancelled our reservation upon arrival, citing an age policy which isn’t listed on their website. Called in advance to ask about this, was assured it would not be an issue, only to be told a different story once we arrived.

Very disappointed, surprised to find out the free parking is 3.5 blocks away next to a bar. The rooms are small, the breakfast poor, fruit is dry tables out side under a canopy that leaked during the rain. The staff leaves at 6pm daily returning at 10am, there was a person trying to put out breakfast around 9am. They charge a Resort fee for a sunken hot tub the size you would find in your back yard. Never again, very over priced.

Nice, quiet, but still centrally located hotel. All hotspots are very easy to reach on foot. The rooms are furnished to match Key West. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the hotel. Only the loud air conditioning could be replaced. And the “Crazy Chicken” wakes you up at 6:00 in the morning :-D. The breakfast, which is included in the price, is OK. The hotel's free parking spaces should also be highlighted positively.

Very pleasant accomodation just off Duval Street in Key West. The room was nicely appointed, clean, and quiet. Raquel at the front desk was very helpful, professional, and friendly. The continental breakfast was very good. Parking was a few blocks away.
