We enjoyed our stay at the Parrot Key Hotel, which was in a good location, had a nice outdoor restaurant and bar and provided shuttles into town every half hour.We didn’t use any of the pools or beach as we are Florida residents and really just came to the Keys for a weekend getaway.

This was our first time to Key West and The Parrot Key Hotel. First of all, staff was great! Helpful, accommodating, and willing to get you anything you need whether it was a call to the front desk, or pool/bar/restaurant staff getting you anything you needed. If they couldn’t help you directly, they would get it taken care of for you one way or another. The pools were warm, water and sunscreen provided and poolside staff were excellent!! Special shoutout to Stanley the Man!! The Grove (on site restaurant/bar) was excellent and comparatively priced for the rest of the island. Easy access to Uber/taxis and scooter rentals nearby (A MUST FOR GETTING AROUND KEY WEST ?).Only negative thing I could mention is to make sure your whole party is aware of ALL the accommodations offered at this wonderful hotel ie. We didn’t know the hotel offers free Sunset Watersports 2 chair/1 umbrella at nearby beaches for free! There are also complimentary drinks each day in bar area, AND in your room, but they are put near the pay bar items, so just something to be aware of is all!Highly recommend this hotel for your Key West stay! Excellent hotel and service! Will be back!

Rooms and service are absolutely ok. If you come to Key West, you should be aware that everything is a little more expensive here. For the prices here you get a different quality in other cities. But Parrot Keys is totally ok for the price. The location is great and rooms are fine, but far from luxury. Key West style. But a very nice facility. All four pools are very small. Smart move with the 4 pools. At other hotels it's just 1 pool the same size.Food & drinks: Very spartan map. But the omelettes for breakfast by the pool are really good. No buffet or anything. But there are tons of good restaurants with great breakfasts in the area. Also within walking distance.

Our family has vacationed at this property twice. Once in 22'and 24' both for spring break. Property remains in great shape but signs of declining maintenance are beginning to show. Pool service is way off and good luck having fresh water, towels or service while at the pool. I hope we see a huge improvement in 2025 should we visit the property again.

I hate leaving bad reviews. But I have to for the Parrot Key Hotel. We had booked 4 nights with our toddler. It is advertised as beachfront. Don't be fooled -- despite being on a beach, there is no beach ACCESS. They have a little sandy area, but it's all fake sand and has no access to the water. That's our fault for not reading the website more thoroughly - but it is misleading. We check into the room to found out that there are 2 steep staircases. This is a non-starter for our toddler. We'd have needed baby gates in order to stay there, and we were not notified that there would be stairs in the room. We spoke to the front desk explaining that it was a safety issue for our family, and apparently the manager was gone for the day and there was nothing they could do. What 4-star resort has no manager on duty?? So, we were forced to stay for one night because we had no where else to go. We got breakfast at the resort restaurant the next morning, it was inedible, to the point where I brought the second, untouched plate of food to the front desk, hoping that the manager was now at work. There, as I was waiting in line to be helped, the person in front of me was a newlywed complaining about how awful his room was (and it was their honeymoon...) After he was told that there was nothing that could be done, it was my turn. I explained our situation and how for our child's physical safety, we could not stay in a room with 2 steep flights of stairs without baby gates. We were told there was nothing they could do. Finally, the manager got the higher-up manager (?) and she agreed to give us a 2 night refund, out of 4 nights. We had only stayed 1 out of 4 nights, but they made us pay for 2 nights. We left immediately and went to Marathon to stay at Isla Bella. Isla Bella was less expensive than Parrot Key and it was WAY nicer. It was an actual resort with phenomenal service and food. Basically, Parrot Key is extremely expensive, not an actual resort, it's run down, the food is horrible/inedible, and there's some ambiguous marketing as far as a beachfront hotel. Do yourself a favor, save your money and don't stay at this fake resort.

I can't even begin to describe how beautiful this place was and the upscale facilities offered to us while at the resort. 4 private pools surrounded by lush tropical plants and palms. Our suite was upgraded to a 2 bed, split level, 2 full bath with ocean views. Fully stocked bar in room if you want to purchase, full bar and resturant with pool. All amenities in room include L'Occitane products in bath and shower, microwave, small fridge, cupboards closets(huge), air conditioning and electric ceiling fans. Concierge to help with trips and rentals like we had with golf cart. Valet parking. Just a breathtaking place and will definately be back.Rooms: Rooms were very clean, comfy beds, upscale for sure.Nearby activities: Close to Walgreens, 2 groceries, tons of resturants and water.Safety: Following safety protocolsWalkability: Close to everything and shuttle offered throughout day for day excursions to main areas of KeyWest ie:shops, bars, resturants and beaches.Food & drinks: Has own bar and resturant with room service offered.Noteworthy details: Pictures don't do this resort justice. Just beautiful, secluded and upscale.

Property vibe was excellent a d very relaxing. Grove restaurant staff and food was excellent!!! Bartender and waitress Johanna was fantastic! She had such an amazing attitude and made you feel so welcome and appreciated. Our room had a mildew smell for some reason, but was very clean and well kept by clean staff. We enjoyed out stay. Would definitely consider going back.

During our recent trip with my Family, we encountered discrimination at the Parrot Key Resort which we had high hopes for. Despite confirming details over the phone with their representative, we were met with a series of disappointments upon arrival. The representative assured me that the accommodation had beach access and a beach view, which turned out to be untrue. Additionally, we were falsely informed about the presence of four heated pools on the premises. When I was booking this place over the phone with their own representative I asked if this place had beach access and beach view, I was told yes but this was not true. I asked if the pools were heated and was told there was four heated pools which was also not true. Upon arrival, the staff's unwelcoming glances made us feel out of place from the start. Despite our early arrival at 1 pm, we were trying to check in and were informed that our room wouldn't be ready until 4 pm, leaving us waiting uncomfortably without any offered refreshments. There was complimentary Sangria and Juice which we were not offered but other customers were offered these drinks. It became evident that our treatment differed from that of other guests, as we observed discrepancies in service. This differential treatment based on our race and names made us feel distinctly uncomfortable and unwelcome. We felt very uncomfortable but we tried to ignore their attitude towards me and my family so we walked outside to check out the property since we had three hours to wait. Exploring the property further, we discovered that the pools were not heated as promised and the water was even cold. There was no beach access despite our initial inquiries. When we sought clarification, we were met with a rude response "NO, what did you expect?" that further emphasized our feeling of discrimination. We were shocked and offended at their rude response and we all felt discriminated against so we decided we did not want to stay with them because we were going to be treated unfairly and disrespected. We asked the manager to be refunded and she left the lobby and made us wait more than 20 minutes and came back just to say "No". We were charged $669.94 plus $104 for resort and valet parking fees which we did not use any of these services and none of these charges have been refunded. Despite requesting a refund due to the unfavorable circumstances, we were met with unhelpful and dismissive behavior from the manager. Subsequently, we were charged for services we did not use and the charges remain unrectified. Overall this is a rude and prejudiced establishment. We decided to stay at another place, Casa Marina Key West, where we felt more welcomed and more comfortable and paid over $1000 a night so it's not the money it was the principle of the matter. Choosing to relocate to Casa Marina Key West proved to be a better decision, as we felt genuinely welcomed and valued. While the financial aspect was secondary, the principle of fair and respectful treatment was paramount to us. We will never recommend this place to anyone with dark features and Arab names.
