We rented a golf cart on a whim during our recent trip to Key West and Minty's was a block from our hotel so we booked with them. Easy to book online, check-in on site and drop-off at end of the day. The cart was comfortable and drove well. We would rent again!

We rented a golf cart with Mintys and it was no headache at all. Most golf cart rental companies make it difficult when returning the vehicle but these guys were aces. The staff and owner were super nice, I would give my business to these guys all the time going forward.

Would give 0 stars if i could.
this business is one of the worst golf car rentals on the main key, steer clear of it and it’s rude owners.
we first got there and immediately was greeted by a rude women who was rushing us out of her “parking spot” behind the business , seeing as there WERE NO OTHER spaces for guests in the vicinity, we obviously assumed we can park there for less than 5 mins while we gathered our belongings for the day
this woman was rude and entitled.
the man that checked us out for the day provided minimal information on his part, my sister had to ask multiple questions to get clear instructions on what will be needed on our part to have a safe great day.
when we returned the rental a different employee coldly greeted us and informed us of the $25 gas fee for failing to refill the tank.
we were confused because the individual from earlier did not highlight this.
while i understand this is procedure and agreed upon when we signed all the needed paperwork, it would have been helpful to receive all the information reiterated, Seeing as we were busy planning our day and didn’t have time for small details that could’ve been easily pointed out by a more competent emotionally intelligent employee.
we did not have time to fact check every SINGLE detail and assumed we were fully informed on every required task.
when we relayed this to the employee checking us out he did not care and just shoved the signed paper of the gas agreement in our face, offering no apology on behalf of the incompetent employee from earlier. he did not care in the slightest and had was sporting common characteristics of the local village idiot across his face.
when we informed him of the rude woman from earlier, and her demeanor he had no recollection of who this women who parks behind their own business is. very convenient to have the memory of a gold fish at this time.
not only is this an obvious lie but it’s also unsafe for customers who will inevitably engage in an altercation with a mentally erratic woman minty has no problem providing a parking space for.
this establishment lacks professionalism and basic intelligence!
steer clear and give your business to the much kinder golf rentals in the area.
******it should be noted that we are actually not typical tourists but visit family who are LOCALS so we know when we are being scammed from the local businesses here :)!

These guys were incredibly helpful. They went beyond the call of duty allowing us to store our luggage for a few hours while waiting for our flight. Minty’s is a no brainer for those in need of renting a cart!

The reservation process online was very easy, once we arrived at our pick up time they had the golf cart ready to go, we didn't have to wait at all. Upon return it was very smooth and quick. The golf cart ran great and we had no problems what so ever. We rented a 6 seater and I would recommend them, it truly made our day riding around and checking out all of the areas we had on our list to see, which sure was nice not having to do a lot of walking.

They were easy to deal with and the golf cart was great way to get around the island. These were gas golf carts which is the best way to go in my opinion.

Be prepared to sign form after form and then more forms. Ended up with a 4 seater after booking a 6 seater, so double check reservation prior to arrival. Equipment ran well, clean and easy to operate.

Back seat was full of water when you set on it you got your cloths wet. Drove around with the back seat up to drain water from foam dripped water the entire time i had it. Cart would go then have a weird hesitation most of the time I believe there was water in the gas right turn signal did not work they should test drive these carts when they are returned when I did return it the next day they acted like they did not care will not rent from them again!
