We stayed in a suite, which was bigger, nicer, and more well appointed than many apartments! Kitchen/dining area , living room, bedroom, and bathroom were all gorgeous, well decorated, and modern! There was even a Jacuzzi! Main con was the lack of large, well illuminated signage, and resulting confusion finding your room when you first check in. They could have explained it better at front desk, but still, signage needs to be improved/more well lit/larger. There could also be signs guiding you out to the main drag. This is a great location near many local businesses/shopping. They could also ask more about if you require maid service. It's not automatic. Amazingness of the room still makes this well worth a stay here, just hope they can improve in the areas addressed here.
Rooms: Gorgeous suite! Well appointed and decorated.
Nearby activities: Shopping, restaurants, attractions
Safety: Felt very safe here
Noteworthy details: Needs more/better/well illuminated signage to find rooms/buildings/exit/main drag.

Nice resort, unfortunately the crew does not match the quality of the facility. However the water taxi crew was fantastic.

Beautiful room after a negotiation to upgrade. Free drink offer in the bar is a swizz, they offer 1 drink and expect you to buy the other if there is 2 of you. Aside from this..Great location and beautiful room with a very comfy bed.
Rooms: Room had everything, Inc jacuzzi bath..comfy bed...super ?

The suites are incredibly nice. I would love to stay here again. Very nice pool area. Beach needs work. Service is terrific by the pool.

There are pros and cons to consider for Beachside. We were a family of 8 staying in a three bedroom ocean view unit. The pros are as follows: balcony overlooking ocean great, towels whenever you asked, spacious unit, beautiful landscaping. Cons: All elevators were out of service the day we were to leave, so had to get 10 suitcases down the stairs. Staff said too bad. One of the elevators was out of service the whole week we were there. Water temperature was not hot or cold, only medium, although my shower could suddenly go to scalding. Ice maker leaked and we reported it the first day--nothing done so no ice all week. Floor filthy; no van service for three days due to "hurricane" although we were really only affected one day, and that day we were able to swim in the pool. So we had unexpected Uber costs. (Even went kayaking another of the days and third day was perfect), No direct line to the front desk only texting and that was iffy. Towel exchange by the pool was sporadic and usually had to go to front desk to get them. Staff not very friendly at all, except at the pool restaurant. Concierge wasn't even friendly. We made our own reservations for activities. No scissors or sturdy spatulas, just plastic. No cookie sheet. Bottom line: I won't be back.

Great location close to downtown Key West with a shuttle to drop off. The pool area and waterfront was nice. Especially at sunset. Very friendly staff. The beds and pillows in the room might be the most comfortable of any hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Could have used a microwave in the single bedroom unit.

Checking in was easy, it's very discouraging that you have to pay daily parking(never ever been to a resort that did that). Also for me to give a better than subpar review is service other than just checking in. I like to have fresh towels daily with the accommodation of my room being cleaned other than just when I ask!!!! That was a huge letdown

Great experiences at the Beach/Pool bar. Both servers (Bob & Angela???) were extremely friendly and quick. Check-in was just ok. We had checked in and just needed to pick up keys. Each of the 3 times we popped into the lobby for one reason or another, there was nobody at the desk. Sadly, there was no welcome champagne as advertised on the hotel TV channel. We realized after getting into our room the first time that there was no info as to how to request any services, no phones in the room, etc. Our 1 bedroom, ocean view suite with rooftop balcony was nice & spacious. That being said, it was way too hot & humid mid-August to actually spend any time out there (that was our dumb mistake). The oven wouldn't shut fully, so the light was always on, and we didn't feel comfortable using it
One of the 2 toilets wouldn't flush the 2nd day.
3 hours after notifying the front desk, the toilet was still not addressed. The beach is virtually non-existent, so I felt that was a bit of false advertising. We werent expecting much, but the barriers were literally a few fewer out in many places. Overall, it was a different experience from our 1st 3 nights at a hotel in a different section of the island. I'll appreciate the experience, but won't be back for $700+/ night.

Great place and atmosphere overall. Our room was missing a few kitchen items as well as having a few broken outlets and switches, but it was still a great stay.

We had a wonderful time at Beachside Resort & Residences. Our condo was well appointed, very clean, and had a beautiful pool view. The hospitality was excellent with your own personal contact for your entire trip. The concierge was very helpful with booking tours and a cart, all available directly onsite. The food and drinks at Town & Tavern were excellent, and the happy hour was amazing. The layout of the Resort made it very easy to get around, especially with parking directly underneath, allowing easy unload and reload. The shuttle was also super convenient, and the staff was very helpful in every aspect.

Where do I begin. I think the worst part was having the hotel staff in and out of our lobby all day and all night even up to 10 PM. The hotel rooms are situated were each suite has a lobby of its own off of the Corridor. There’s some sort of closet in our lobby and staff kept coming in and out of one of the rooms. Did not make me feel very safe to say the least. For the amount of money you pay for the room, I would’ve expected it to not have a motel six vibe. The caulking on the sinks, the bathtub and in the shower was cracked and missing in spots. The baseboards had holes and there was black dirt or mold in some of the corners. The dishwasher didn’t work and was broken inside where the detergent goes so you couldn’t secure the lid. The door wouldn’t latch so no cycle and no clean dishes. The furniture was dinged up and scratched. As far as the cleanliness of the room, the staff did a wonderful job. After the third day our room was spruced up and it was like new. At this high level of a per room night, breakfast is not included so stop at one of the grocery stores on your way in or pack a cooler like we did. I think the best part of the whole experience was the shuttle service to downtown Duval Street. The driver was the most awesome part of the trip and his customer service is top-notch. He gave us a great overview of everything we saw after we were picked up and headed back to the hotel.
