Honestly disappointed in our experience.My grandmother and family have been bringing our jewelry to Jeff for 20+ years.They initially told us 7-10 days for the work we needed done on my wedding bands.Every time we called for an update we were met with an unprofessional, disgruntled attitude. Every time we’re were updated it was a different story than the last update.Finally, 16 days later they call us to let us know the order is ready.My engagement ring is scratched in multiple places and obviously the work was rushed.There’s deep scratches on the head of the ring. They definitely could have spent some time polishing them out.They other ring I had work on, I had a round stone placed into an oval setting (which he said he could do) but when I received it today the round stone isn’t even centered in the oval opening. One side of the stone has more space than the other.Overall, just not great craftsmanship. Lacking attention to detail.Staff being rude.When my husband picked up the items one of the ladies yelled across the store “oh that’s ticket 7403”. It’s unprofessional to act in such a way. They’re a business in customer service. They’ve been around for ages and have built a good reputation, they should consider how easily a reputation can be tarnished in a small town when you treat people poorly.Not to mention it was expensive. Over $200 to set a stone in a band and put a head on a band and set a stone in it.Had the attention to detail been better the price wouldn’t have bothered me at all.

I needed a battery for my watch. I walked in and was greeted right away by Chloe, who took the watch and I was able to wait while they changed it out! I did get to browse their jewelry on display. I will return as they had some beautiful pieces. Some a little pricey, but you can tell it is the real thing in terms of golds and silvers. There were some pieces that were artfully designed. Rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings for men and women. Loved the island and nautical themes! Shop looks so so from the outside, but it is worth stopping and walking in!! And, battery replacement - they charged me almost $8 less than my jewelry shop back home. Great jewelry store!!

Went to Jeffs Gems to resolve an issue with my watch. Chloe displayed extraordinary technical knowledge and competence when handling/discussing the issue with the watch. It’s rather rare to see someone so proficient with their trade in the keys??

After my mother's death, I brought him all my mother's and grandmother's jewelry to look at and assess. I brought many pieces that needed repairs or watch batteries. I even brought him a silver tea set to repair. Jeff was very kind, fair, and professional. In my time of grief, he was the jeweler I needed. Even though he's nautical, he's definitely not a shark. Thank you on the behalf of my family. All the pieces you repaired are beautiful.

Best place, with incredible staff, the most knowledgeable people and so helpful, some of the most unique pieces I have ever seen. Great nautical items and amazing gemstones both cut and raw. Unbelievable jewelry repair too.

Dropped a ring off for resizing..btw. the price was INCREDIBLE. they then called to say the prongs needed repaired and wouldn't feel comfortable letting me leave without them repaired. New lifelong customer

As a local Conch, I highly recommend them, Patricia was fantastic! She help with emergency jewelry repair and watch sizing on two pairs that now fit so perfect I enjoy wearing them. They also can restring mom's pearls and have a nice selection for gifts. No wonder they win the locals Bubba awards every year ?

It is almost impossible to find a jeweler who will replace a watch battery. I was welcomed, my watch received a new battery in a short time, and the price was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this establishment. Courteous and professional staff. God Bless!
