Virtual check-in stinks. No one is available to help. No microwave or coffee in room. Had to walk down about 20 stairs to get a poor small cup of coffee for 5 bucks and then back up. Not a great way to start the day. Bring back the service. Used to be 5 stars.

This is a self entrance hotel, all digital and a cool spot to chill minutes from all the good spots and you can walk around. You will need to find your way and navaigate via text.

The property is misleadingly advertised as a hotel or bed and breakfast, but it is actually a collection of Airbnb rentals managed by a third party. For the high rate of $400+ per night, the experience was extremely disappointing. There is no front desk, and guests cannot get immediate assistance. Communication is primarily via text, with slow responses and no urgency.
When we arrived at 3pm, we were unaware that check-in was at 4pm. After calling, we received a text saying a room was ready, but the main building door was never opened. We eventually got in with the help of another guest. However, after waiting further, we received the room number without entry instructions. Two codes were provided, but neither worked. After multiple contacts and sharing a video, they sent the correct code, which had one digit incorrect in the original message.
We requested the WiFi password on the first evening but didn't receive a response until the following day, and even then, the password provided was incorrect due to capitalization errors.
The shower had no hot water, and despite reaching out around 9pm, no one responded until the next morning when maintenance arrived and management texted that it seemed fixed without any apology.
Parking is unreserved and limited, so if no spaces are available, guests must find their own solutions. Additionally, the room lacked basic security features like latches, extra locks, or privacy signs, making us uncomfortable when maintenance entered without warning while we were still in bed.
The room was poorly maintained. The bed’s canopy was loose and wobbled, and the ceiling fan was improperly attached, making us fear it might fall. There was no way to request fresh towels, only communal laundry facilities if you wanted to wash the provided ones.
In conclusion, this place is not worth the price, and I strongly advise against staying here. It's better to spend a little more for a real B&B or hotel.

I wish I had read the current reviews of this property before I decided to stay here. The 5-star ratings are from 2 or more years ago, and the newer ratings are 1-2 stars. That being said, this property offers little for the price. There is no on-site staff to assist with any issues, and there were issues. All communication is done via text. It took 12-24 hours to get responses. We had access issues, WiFi issues, cold water issues, and parking issues. There was a lot of texting and waiting. The place looks charming, but I assure you it is not. It is old musty, and poorly maintained. The only real positive is the location, very close to pretty much everything. For the price point, I expected a much higher level of service.
Rooms: Musty, and superficially clean.
Walkability: Very close to all things you would like to do.
Noteworthy details: All communication with staff is done via text. There is no on site assistance when you have issues.

Not the same place it used to be. It was once a historical bed and breakfast that we loved. Now it is a just a place to stay near Duval. The vanity lights didn't work. There was a short in it and you had to jiggle the switch just right. There was an electric outlet that didn't even have a plate cover on it. The room was clean but that's the only positive. No more breakfast or happy hour and the rates went up. That was our last stay at the Curry Mansion. Don't stay in room 112 until they fix the light or you could start a fire trying to turn it on.

Stayed Friday-Sunday. Price and location were great. Hearing loud booming music til 3:45am not great! Very limited parking. Room was nice but the mattress felt like it was 50 years old. I love how old everything was but the mattress needs to go. Springs poking in your back all night after not sleeping sucks

I’ve been staying here since I was young. As I do not mind the new changes of self check in. I do miss the breakfast and happy hour. Now the cleanliness of the room is my problem. There is no one to ask for additional towels or soaps. I found long black hairs in my sheets, a very dirty bathroom that had plenty of signs of past guests. Still enjoy the atmosphere of the curry mansion but a maid service must be hired!

We stayed here for one night at the end of July, smooth booking, very nice contact, good service.
The 19th century house is very idyllic, with a pool in the courtyard, located second row to Duval Street in the center of Key West. Despite the central location (loud party music on Duval Street in the evenings), the room was very quiet.
The room was clean, very large for four people, with enough towels for the bathroom and pool.
I found it very good that all guests had access to a washing machine, dryer, shower and toilet. There was free parking, very important in Key West.
I can definitely recommend the hotel, the only negative point was (cost reasons) that there was no on-site contact person available to answer questions. The online booking and check-in process went smoothly.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible service and George Galvan should not be working in the hospitality field. He was an absolute nightmare to deal with.

This is a historical inn, and it is amazing.... I loved just walking around looking at the antiques in the mansion. I actually had the off chance to peek into another room of the main house while it was being cleaned, and it was just as beautiful with a four post bed with canopy. It is literally a half block back off of Duval Street, but so quiet you wouldn't even know that all the fun was just literally steps away.
My ONLY issue was that the only place we could charge our electronics was in the bathroom. I would suggest a power strip near the bed so that those staying were able to charge any electronics they may have.
Rooms: Are vintage, so don't expect highend.
Safety: All rooms have a special code to access your quarters.
Walkability: Literally steps from Duval
Noteworthy details: This place was really a treat. I am so glad we booked here. And we will be back.

This place is amazing. Rooms are great. House is a historic mansion and the interior is still period. It has a bar on the wrap around porch. The owners are great contact with them was quick. The are very helpful. Listen it’s all about location in Key West. This place has that you are half a block off Duvall Street. Bars and restaurants a plenty. Great place to stay. Thanks for the perfect place to spend our 30th anniversary.

OMG, anyone who rates this property high has never stayed here before under the old owners Patsy and her brother. First, no hot breakfast anymore, no happy hour anymore, no live entertainment at happy hour anymore, no one on site management any more should I go on?
It used to be a beautiful experience for the price paid and now it feels cold and no service for the same high price! Never stay here again!

Great location for a keys vacation, just around the corner from Duval street. The room we stayed in was located in the James House across the street from the main Mansion and was comfortable. The Best feature is that they have parking. Check this place out!
