“I previously lived in key largo for a few years and had in 2016ish brought a stray cat I cared for to island hammock when he showed up injured at my door. They treated him and he fully recovered. Cut to 2024 and I’m down here on vacation and my dog had a suspected ear infection. She would not stop shaking her head and we were leaving town that morning with a long travel day ahead of us. I called IH and Dani the receptionist was so kind and saw I had been there previously and talked to the vet about fitting me in. Unfortunately it wouldn’t work out but she was so empathetic she sent me a text of other neighboring vets to see if I could get my dog seen. I called around in 4 cities and only 1 in Miami could do it, but in a few hours. Cut back to Dani calling back saying they had a cancellation and could take Tilly in 30 mins. It was a miracle! I so appreciated being squeezed in by the staff here and for Dani going above and beyond to make it happen. Thank you so much!”
