Reserved a car for a one-way to Miami airport. Very early flight Monday morning so I had to pick up the car on Saturday and pay for an extra day because Key Largo Budget is closed Sunday. (Why? ) I reserved the car 3 weeks in advance and at 10am Saturday morning (Budget closes Saturday at 1pm) there were no cars available. Anyone can take a reservation, HOLDING the reservation is the most important part of the reservation process. The Clerk was polite but not helpful. I called customer service, equally unhelpful. This is a recurrent issue, Budget doesn't care. It's been going on for several years. Scheduled an Uber that cost only $20 more than my 2 day rental, lesson learned. Call 2 days ahead to confirm they will have your car.

I had a one way rental with budget. I was late returning, but had no issues. Ashraf took great care of me and was very professional. I'd gladly pick up or drop off here again!

I was surprised to read the reviews, consistently negative below. I needed a rental vehicle for a few days while enjoying the keys from our sailboat. It was a quick and easy online experience to rent a full size car for a very reasonable price. I reached the rental counter on time. The man operating the counter was friendly, kind, and even generously upgraded our car for the term of our rental for no extra charge. I had to leave a review showing the kind and considerate experience I received while doing business here. In fact, I'm going to extend our rental when I return the upgrade today...

Just a quick sum up would entail this is an individual owner franchise that runs to his own liking and does not follow what budget normally follows with customer service. I reserved a compact car with them and on the day I arrived at the time to collect the rental the man at the counter states he does not have the car class I reserved. His reply is the next class of car up is the only available and I have to pay almost double my reserved rate. When I told him this was an unfair practice and was at no fault of my own that he sold out my class of car his reply was that I either pay that much higher rate or leave without a car. i left without a car as I am not going to be extorted. I have rented many cars over the years from a variety of car rental places and whenever a car of the class reserved wasn't available the next class was given and honored at the original reserved rate. Not here! Just beware that reserving a car here does not mean much of either getting the class of car you reserve nor the price reserved.

Please do NOT rent from here! I pre-paid for my car 2weeks in advance. When I went to pick up my car at my scheduled time, I was told "it is running 2 hrs late" call later to see if it is here. I called at 4 and was told it was 30min away. I went back to rental store, and sat until 5:10. The car NEVER showed up. Nash(the employee) claimed he went above and beyond by staying late waiting, when in fact his ONLY job was was to provide a car. Kicked us out told us to call customer service to get our money back(because he "couldn't do anything to help" He wouldn't let us use the store phone to call while we were there. His last statement was "if the car is here tomorrow, I could rent it" he would be there at NOON, not 8am(opening time) $400 later I had to taxi and Uber from key largo to fort myers. Thank you Nash and BUDGET for ruining my day and my trip!!! Now I am sure I have to fight to get my money back for a car that was never provided!!!!!!

Really it's a zero. Our reservation was for an 8am pick up. No one was at the location...we waited for an hour, still no one showed. A call to corporate yielded no help except to say they would book us a car through Enterprise. Well, Enterprise did not have a car available so now we are without a way to get to our flight in Ft. Lauderdale. So I would say that a reservation with this company is worthless.

When I walked in, Nash Wahba demanded that I sit down because he was working on someone else's reservation. I asked for the bathroom, and he sighed as though it was a great inconvenience and walked me to the back hallway to point out where the bathroom is. When it was my turn to be check out, he hurriedly gave me my paperwork and was in a big hurry to lock up and get out of there. It was around 1:30 in the afternoon. I pointed out that he did not walk around the car with me to note any dents or scratches on the car. He grabbed the paperwork from me, and wrote in a bunch of scratches on the car diagram and handed the the papers back to me. He rushed me out of the store and locked it up and took off. I was shocked by the rude and pushy demeanor.

Worse customer Service every. We had a flat tire and no one would even offer a car exchange. Road side service was an hour wait. We changed tire ourselves and had limited access to places we wanted to travel due to donut tire limits. Will NEVER rent a car from them again.

Awful experience. We had a confirmed reservation for our car at 1:30, arrived at budget desk at 12:30 and after waiting one hour in line I was told it would take probably another hour. We had a wedding to attend so we had to get a car from another agency and cancel budget. THen they docked me $150 for a late cancellation!

hello, wish I can do a zero stat rating. The sign says open 8 to 5 I had a 10 reservation it's now 10:30 a.m. and I've been here since 8 a.m. standing in the hot Florida Sun. I called the local number and the lady said I'll get there when I get there. Call the Budget customer service and they offered me a $40 credit that's not going to help me when I miss my flight. This is the most unprofessional core run location I've ever seen in my life and I would not recommend budget to my worst enemy.
