Warm welcome
Ideal location
Free kayak private beach deckchair seats.....
We enjoyed ourselves.
The bungalows are quite basic and the air conditioning is extremely noisy!
But the location and beach access are worth the 5 ?

We were a group now known as the Musketeers, thanks to the Walmart Crackie in Fort Myers.
Now to the 2-week bunker stay in the Pelikan. After moving into our crypt, Patrick wanted to treat himself to a shower, no wonder after all the exertion through the Everglades. Carlin and I were amazed when we looked at the clock. Patrick has been showering for a whopping 3 hours now. Carlin looked at Patrick and then noticed.. Patrick is still not clean.. The shower head gave out so little water that Patrick showered for the remaining 6 days. Kayaking was great fun, but we should have been informed in advance that it would be a fight for survival. After blowing my whistle several times, I had to lose my life in the Key Largo pool. So I won't come anymore.

Watch out! If you are no longer in your prime and are slowly decaying, this property is perfect for you. Pensioners are very welcome and in good hands there. But young snobs like Mario Frick and Mattia Croci-Torti were so horrified that they grabbed the obvious “manatees”. These obstacles to the evolution of animals had to suffer greatly. But Frick was happy again by the evening at the latest after he won the tenth game in Skipbo with marked cards. Big juice shop, but we'll be back

My favorite Hotel I went down last month and absolutely loved it the staff is great the amenities are wonderful I went down this weekend but could not get a good price for 2 days so I stayed in Islamorada I'm hoping the next time I can go on a weekday when the prices at Pelican key are a lot better
Rooms: I got the small economy room by myself and that is all that I needed. a bed , refrigerator a microwave a coffee pot. it was hidden off on the side of the building which was nice for my privacy. I had the best time floating, kayaking, snorkeling. I saw the manatees and there are quite a few places within walking distance. They have private outdoor showers/ bathroom good for when you leave the beach and there is a large Tiki Gathering area that is available to everyone
Walkability: Family Dollar, restaurants, sandal factory, groceries
Noteworthy details: Kayaks are free to use. the beach area is very clean. there are charcoal grills which disappointed me because I was not dealing with charcoal and lighter fluid and such,, but they explained that for safety reasons they cannot have propane grills. there is a vending machine for drinks, ice machine and the folks in the office are the best and they will recommend anywhere you want to go

Cute, very clean, old fashioned motor court motel with a private beach, fishing piers and kayaks . The rooms are spacious and the beds are really, really comfortable. Great price!!!

Horrible experience. We drove 8 hours for a weekend trip that my boyfriend had booked. On the resort website under policies, it did not say you have to be 21 to check in although there were several other policies mentioning age requirements. All it mentioned was you had to be an adult, which is 18 years old. He booked the trip through a third party website that also asked for drivers license number. Upon arrival, we were immediately turned away when my boyfriend showed his ID. Both employees were the most rude and unkind to us and didn’t offer any sort of solution. They had also mentioned how they had turned away many underage kids before and that this had been an issue for them, but they still have not updated their website to fit their policies. We showed them proof how nothing was mentioned about being 21 to book and they still were unable to show us where on the website was that policy. They offered zero refunds so they could continue to scam people. If you’re looking for a place with disrespectful workers and horrible customer service, I highly recommend this place.
