I place a $500 dollar deposit to hold my place on a IDC course. I got injured on a EBike accident where I broke my leg and arm. This dive store is refusing to refund my money they are stalling with excuses. I have filed a grievance with PADI.. This conduct is very unprofessional. I managed a dive store. I use to give refunds to student all the time . I would not recommend this Dive store to do your IDC or any other course.

Disappointed. Three of the 6 people (we’re all over 65 yo, male and female) that made up my group had a bad experience snorkeling caused by lack of service, briefing, and attention to their safety. These 3 people were all newcomers using Rainbow Reef and had limited experience snorkeling and so I would have thought closer attention would have been given to our group and others.

Just got off the phone with Doug, who was fantastic to work with! My husband and I are coming down to Key Largo for a last minute anniversary trip and Doug worked his magic to squeeze us into a advanced open water (AOW) certification class so we can upgrade our certs and hit the wrecks. Super pleasant to work with and he was detailed with what we need to knock out in the short time frame. Thanks Doug for your help, you rock!

Had a great kayak tour with Suzanne. Our group was much smaller than others we paddled past and our guides local knowledge helped us to find a manatee. Great experience.

Excellent family friendly dive center. The instructor was amazing with our 10 year old and they even accommodated the entire family with younger siblings on the dive boat for snorkeling! Great deals on classes and gear too!

Rainbow Reef was recommended to my Fiancé and I from several people for us to complete our open water certification before we venture to the Great Barrier Reef on our honeymoon. We had the pleasure of getting educated by both Todd and Rebecca. Rebecca was "Shadowing" Todd, but wound up guiding us through a lot of the process as Todd worked with the other couple that was getting certified with us. This was very nice because we had a 2-1 student to instructor ratio rather than 4-1 which is more typical. Unfortunately, we some pretty horrible conditions for first time divers. Our day out at sea had both of us feeling extremely nauseas. We were able to power through it though thanks to Todd and Rebecca being very patient with us. Safety was their number one concern for us. We were lucky enough to be brought out to a ship wreck for our dives. We saw massive schools of fish unlike anything we had ever seen before while snorkeling. We also got to be within just a few feet of several sea turtles. They were breathtaking. Todd and Rebecca also gave us a ton of great recommendations in Key Largo for lunch and dinner. We cannot recommend Rainbow Reef and specifically Todd and Rebecca enough.

I want to give a shout out to Rainbow Reef dive center. I have an older model Suunto D6 dive watch. It has started malfunctioning, resetting the date back to 4/15/2004. Strange. Suunto on line chat support recommended going to a Suunto approved shop. I am on Key Largo on a business trip this week and so went to Rainbow Reef. The shop boss spent a considerable amount of his time to pull up the Suunto site on line, research the issue, find the serial number on my D6 dive watch [It is near impossible to see], and log a customer service request for me. He then printed a mailing label, boxed up my D6 and gave me the package to send to Suunto. He described to process to expect from Suunto in the next 6-8 weeks. All this for an unknown guy who walks in with a dive watch question.I am a DM, having dove for 25 years with over 1200 ocean dives. Rainbow Reef dive center in Key Largo is one of the most professional, helpful shops I have experienced. Send your business to them. I am sure they take just as good care of their divers. Thank you.
